"Thank you for your business it was a pleasure doing work for you."
"Dear Member We were sad to read your review. Customer satisfaction and quality service are the top priorities at Alpha and Omega LLC. We wanted to explain to you our process and how it was different than other providers you have used to make sure you understood why it was the most effective way to sweep you chimney. Yours was a difficult chimney sweep due to it being a very tall and step roof. Our apologies if it came out as criticizing the other providers. We simply wanted you to be aware of our process and why we believe it is the most effective solution. Rest assured, we always close the doors after we have completed the chimney sweep. Rest assured we were not arguing between ourselves. We were struggling a little bit with the 12 foot piece of piping we had to take down inside the house. We had to take down the pipe to properly remove the creosote on top of the stove baffle as that's the only way to get to it. The same process was done in last year’s chimney sweep. We also recommended to you after the chimney sweep to get a new wood stove and to not use the one you have because it's warped, burnt out, and is a safety concern. We welcome you to reach out to us directly to discuss this matter further if you wish."

At this point, October had come and gone and the fireplace was still unusable...and twice I'd been told I would be called and given a date, but they had not done so. When I called them this time(a week after being told I'd have received a call) I was told how unreasonable I was and how busy they were. I was told I was a very difficult customer. I never complained about having to wait three weeks for their first visit. I didn't complain about the price. I am EXTREMELY PLEASED AND SATISFIED WITH THE JOB THEY FINALLY DID. But, their communication was unprofessional, and to tell me I was difficult was true only in the sense they simply never called back when the voluntarily told me they would call... THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM IF THEY HAD PHONED AND SAID, I CAN'T COME THIS WEEK BECAUSE SOME JOBS HAVE TAKEN LONGER THAN WE THOUGHT AND I WILL COME NEXT WEEK...OR I WILL CALL NEXT WEEK.
They need to schedule their customer's jobs more accurately, hire more repairmen or take less jobs. Of, stop telling customers they'll call if they have no intention of calling.
From my initial call (last week of September) to the completion of the job(November 13) two and a half months have passed. I think anyone needing chimney repairs deserves to know they do not complete the work in a timely manner and they do not communicate clearly or accurately with customers. The quality of the work is good.

"Dear Member, We sweep thousands of chimneys a year and cleanliness has always been a priority for us. I was very surprised to see your review as this was the first that I had heard of your concern. I wish you would have brought this up to us directly as we would have promptly cleaned any dust that we may have left behind. Customer satisfaction is a top priority for us as is evident by the number of consistent positive reviews our customers leave for us. Thank you for using A Alpha & Omega."
make Saturday appointments, and that they were too busy with work in other areas and didn't have time to take care of this. I called back the following Monday and spoke to Jimmy. My son spoke to him and told him the facts. Jimmy had never heard of this problem, and wanted some time to research it. My son, in front of myself and my daughter-in-law, just asked Jimmy to commit to a callback on Wednesday, November 11th, to provide a status update. He agreed to this. On Wednesday, November 11th, he did not call. I called back Alpha Omega on Thursday, November 12th and spoke to Jimmy again. He denied making this promise, but said he would come out and give us a call when he knew more. Nobody ever called or returned any of my calls for several days. I finally got a hold of Jimmy again, and I asked if he had called the manufacturer, and he said he was too busy and I should call the manufacturer, and that he would call back. He never did. I did phone the manufacturer, Skytech. I spoke to Andy, and they have heard of this problem. He thought it might be a thermal couple device on the pilot assembly. On a later call with Skytech, Debra also indicated that they have heard of this problem. Based on photos I sent them, they believe the problem has to with the installation, in particular that it is too close to the heat. Alpha Omega is NOT a licensed installer of their products, so they are unable to assist me in that regard, but they will recommend a competent, licensed installer if I need one. Immediately after my initial complaint to Angie's list was posted, Alpha Omega has made several attempts to contact me.It is my belief that without the negative review, they would have completely ignored me.
"Customer satisfaction is our number one priority at A Alpha & Omega. Rest assured, we attempted to reach this member to rectify the issue several times and unfortunately did not receive a response (even prior to her writing this review). Because of no response from this member, we had assumed that it was no longer an issue, until we read this review. As soon as this member called about the fireplace, we called our distributor who rushed a new valve to us. We immediately called the member to schedule a time to replace the valve. She wanted to talk to her son about the best time for us to come back out, but unfortunately, we never received a return phone call. We reached out a couple more times but did not receive a response. We were concerned when we read this review so we also spoke with Debra and Andy at our distributor about this issue, and they shared with us that this is NOT a common problem. The distributor asked that we send the malfunctioning remote back to evaluate, but we have been unable to reach the member to do so. We invite the member to return our phone call and we will happily come out and replace the remote valve. We will always stand by our work."
