Everything turned out well, and I think they did a really good job. The technicians cleaned up well. However, I was concerned about the process in which they clean. I wasn?t aware that they have to put a new hole in the furnace, and I felt that the technicians should have explained that upfront. That being said, the owner of the company was extremely responsive to my concern, and I was satisfied with their service.

The team arrived promptly and got started right away. They opted to run the large vacuum hose through my basement window instead of the front door. I believe that the job was done completely and well, although it is difficult to tell with air duct cleaning. I asked about the before and after pictures after the job was completed and was shown a very dark shot on a small digital camera. It was difficult to tell the before from the after picture. I was told that the pictures would be e-mailed, but they have not arrived. In retrospect, I wish I had asked for a detailed explanation of the process before they got started. The equipment is so loud that once they are working, it is very difficult to talk or ask questions. At one point I had to leave to run to pick up a friend. When I returned I found my door into the house wide open, which was a concern for a couple of reasons: it was a cold day; I have cats who could have escaped (luckily, they did not) and anyone could have walked in and the team working would not have known, since they were in the basement and could not hear over the vacuum system. Based on other reviews on Angie's list, I do believe that the work was completed and done well. I don't think the level of professionalism shown on my job was up to the level that they normally exhibit, but still better than other contractors I have used in the past.

Referred by Sunglo Restoration as part of an insurance claim. Very responsive and professional. Mike the owner came out with an assistant and explained the process. I would recommend them to anyone considering duct cleaning.

Mike from Amistee did a great job. He came on time, put on paper boots to cover his shoes, and tarps everywhere he needed to drag hoses. I was really impressed that he also brought cardboard to put under his truck so any oil leaks didn't mark the driveway ( something I really do care about! ) He explained everything in detail, and worked with us letting us know when he had to be in a different rooms so we could move the baby and dog around. Mike offered us the dryer cleaning and the furnace cleaning, and reminded us about the coupon so we essentially got the furnance filter for free. When the furnace wouldn't turn on after the job was completed, he stayed and made sure it would work by getting there and removing any little bits of dust off the pilot light area. Only glitch was I haven't received any emailed images he took with the digital camera of the ductwork before and after, but he did show them to me in person, and to be fair I haven't contacted and asked for them, probably because I was so confident in the job. More expensive than the dollar saver ads, but I felt it was well worth it to get rid of any dust and dander so the wintertime air circulation was safe for our newborn.

They did a great job cleaning our home and explained the process to us. Also said they would send pics of before/after the cleaning via email. Our dryer vent was very dirty and they did a good job cleaning it. They were not pushy and they showed up on time. Total time at our house was approx 2 1/2 hours.

Were on time. Explained the process. Very neat and put mats down on carpet for protection . Left no mess. Their process is very unique. Only down side was the truck leaked some fluid on the driveway.

Very satisfied with both the workers and the work they performed. They were prompt, informative, cheerful & courteous Took 2 1/2 hours to finish. Very through. Covered my floor hallway and stairs with tarp, where ever their equipment was being used. Did a great job! I wish I would have thought of taking more pictures of my heat ducts before the work was done. I did take some after they left, and all were spotless! Air even smells cleaner!

I was happy with the entire experience with Amistee. I had researched extensively on Angie's List and other webiste prior to selecting which companies I wanted to call for estimates. I was impressed by the consistent, postivie reviews that Amistee had on Angie's list. The man I spoke with over the phone was very informative and patient with my questions. He quoated $395 for the job based on the size of my home. I used the $50 coupon from Angie's list toward the job and added the $65 sanitizer (which they were not pushy about at all).

They were on time. The price were good for a licensed company. They techs explained things well and did not talk "down" to me. The cleaning took a while, but there was a lot to clean. They throughly cleaned the entire system.

The service was scheduled for 8 AM. They called at 7:50 to say they would be 45 minutes late due to the weather. When no one had shown up or called us by 9:30, we called the office to find out where they were, The office person was rude and defensive and hung up on us. We did not receive a call from anyone at Amiistee until 6:30 that evening. By that time we had scheduled another contractor and had the work done within three days at a price 25% less than Amiistee was going to charge. If courtesy, punctuality, or reliability are important to you, I would not recommend Amistee Duct Cleaning

They did an outstanding job. Their before and after photographs of the ducts prove that.

They had cleaned our ducts before and done a great job, so we called them back over the inspect them again this year (we had some dry walling done after they cleaned them last time). They arrived on time, checked the ducts, took pictures, and told us they were clean enough. They suggested having them back on next year to check again, but assuming that no other work was going to be done to the house there was no reason we should need it again for at least 2 more years. We loved they're honesty, punctuality and willingness to work with our budget constraints.

The contractor who will be installing a new furnace suggested I have the air ducts cleaned before installation. Upon his recommendation, I contacted Amistee. Though I called after 5, I reached a real person who provided me with a description of the cleaning process, a quote and the names of the technicians who would be sent out to do the work. They followed up to confirm the appointment and on the morning the work was scheduled, contacted me to let me know they would be slightly delayed. The technicians were courteous and efficient. They went through the cleaning process with me again and completed the work in an efficient, professional manner.

It was fine. They did a good job. We would use them again.

They were professional and did a very thorough job. They were fast at what they did and courteous about noises for our daughter. She is terrified of loud noises, and without my saying anything about it, they asked if she'd be frightened. I said yes, and they were then sure to tell her when they were start up the machine each time, and made she she was in a different room. I was very impressed with their level of courtesy.

When the tech came to my home, they were on time, which is important to me. Before even entering my house, they were respectful of my carpet and used shoe covers. They answered the rest of my questions considering I didn't know much about air duct cleaning because I'm a woman. He showed me what they were going to do and talked at my level. The tech got right to work and even picked up after himself! I was very impressed! Now, I notice a difference in the amount of dust in my home. I used to have to clean twice a week and now I can get away with once a week or longer! I would gladly refer Amistee to anyone!
