Amistee Air Duct Cleaning and Insulation

This was an excellent experience from beginning to end. I submitted a request for pricing online one night and received a phone call the next morning. Everyone was extremely courteous throughout the process: receptionist, telephone sales rep, and both technicians. The receptionist called the day before to confirm ... and then the day of service to narrow the arrival time, as I had requested. This was a top performance at a very good price ... and I saved $50.00 with the Angie's List coupon as an added bonus!

Dan and Jim called up 30 minutes in advance and dropped by punctually around their estimated time. Dan explained the things that will be done and immediately proceeded to work. Jim was very cautious not to disturb my sleeping 4 month old baby while doing his job.They cleaned every return and supply register diligently in all the rooms and then proceeded to clean the ducts in the basement. They drilled holes into the vents and plugged them all up neatly and perfectly after they were done with the cleaning. They were extremely professional and did a fantastic job of cleaning all the ducts in my house. They showed me all the before and after pictures and I was glad to see all the drywall dust cleaned from the vents. They said they will email me all the pictures for my record as well. I will definitely hire this company again for my next cleaning in 3-5 years.

Called and they gave me a quote over the phone. Most of the quotes I got were all in the same ballpark. I scheduled an appointment. They were available on my tight schedule which was helpful. Chad and his coworker arrived on the early end of the block of time they were supposed to. Chad was very friendly and professional. After explaining what they were going to do, they were quick and provided before and after pictures.

My service specialists were Josh and David. They were very willing to explain the process to me and showed me their completed work with explanation included. They were friendly, professional, and cleaned up the area where they performed their work. I would use Amistee Inc for future work.

I received a call on the day of scheduled service indicating the technicians were on their way. Dan and Devoinn arrived on time and took the time to explain exactly what they would be doing. They immediately went to work putting down dropclothes and wearing protective covering on their feet as they moved throughout the house. They were on task the entire time they were there. They gave an estimated time to complete the job and they finished within that timeframe. Very courteous and professional. I asked if they would check my dryer vent while they were there recognizing it would be extra cost to clean the vent. They checked it and determined it did not need to be cleaned. When I explained that I had found them on Angie's List they dropped the quoted price by $50.00. Outstanding service. Would definitely use again

Outstanding service. Donna was excellent at setting up a convenient time for the work, calling to remind me a day ahead, and then calling to let me know when the crew was on the way. Jason and his assistant were super -- took care not to damage or soil anything in the house, did an excellent job thoroughly cleaning the ducts, and were easy to work with. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

Chad and Art were very good at explaining what they were going to do as I had never had the ducts cleaned before. They also wore protective covers on their shoes and covered the carpeted stairs to my basement. They were very courteous and didn't mind all my questions. I would definitely recommend them and will use this company again next time the ducts need cleaning. The price was good and I even got $50 off for being an Angie's List customer. Chad took before and after pictures and is going to email them to me.

The office staff was great at letting me know when the crew was coming. The crew was very professional and I loved the fact that they wore shoe covers and protected my walls and floors. They didn't complain about having to move heavy items that were blocking the furnace and they seemed to take an interest in the overall well-being of the furnace by pointing out concerns that my heating company should take a look at at our next tune-up appointment. I can't wait to receive the email with the before-after pictures of my air ducts--that's so cool! I would definitely use this company again.

Called the office and got the details of the service provided. Called another company that was equally rated on angies list, but went back to Amistee and hired them as they were 50$ cheaper. The office called on the day of the appointment and informed that their team was on the way and should arrive in 30-45 mins.The two member team (Jason and Art) arrived on time. They quickly walked me thru the process and inspected the vents and furnace area. Once they had the details they needed they set about setting up their equipment. Both of them did different tasks which told me that they knew what they were doing and not one person training the other. Did a thorough job of cleaning all the vents from top to bottom and then cleaning all the main ducts in the basement with the agitator and blower. Somebody from the office stopped by to check that everything was going well. The ac and furnace compartments were opened and thoroughly cleaned. Jason even fixed a leaking valve running water to my fridge from the basement. Showed me the before and after photos and said they would send them to me, i however did not recieve that.Cleaned up well did not leave any mess behind. They staff were very professional and friendly in their behavior.They accepeted the 50$ coupon from Angies list site. Overall a great experience and a good start to my move in day.

Was very impressed with the professionalism and responsiveness by this company. From booking the appointment to the service itself, everyone was very friendly, helpful, and most importantly did what was expected. I would definitely recommend using their services.

The two technicians arrived on time and fully explained the process to me. In addition, they showed me the before and after pictures of the duct work. They completed the job in 2 hours or less.Overall we were happy with the work done, though when we moved in we noticed that they had missed two registers which were filled with cat hair and which we had to clean by hand. I wish they would have double checked before leaving. (for those of you who have never had this done, they put the entire ventilation system under negative pressure during the process and the first thing they do is go around to all the registers and blow them with high pressure air so that all the debris goes into the system and gets sucked into the vacuum). I still give them an "A" overall, but had to ding them a little on quality due to the missed registers. My recommendation to anyone using them would be to walk around your home before they leave to ensure that all of the registers were cleaned.

After the report I had written up on this company, the owner called me and asked about my concerns, apologized for the issues I had written about and offered several things to "right the wrong". He told me he would address the issues with his technicians and said he knows the quality and reputation of his business lies in the customer ratings. I was impressed with his responsiveness, professionalism as well as his efforts to better the situation and address it with his technicians so that it doesn't happen with other customers. This spoke volumes in terms of how he respects customers and values their input. If I have a need in the future for duct cleaning I would definitely give them a call.

It was excellent. They were very professional and did a great job. They also kept us informed on every step.

The job went very well. We received a call that they could arrive earlier than scheduled,if we desired. They were prompt and upon arrival, introduced themselves and explained in detail what they were going to do. Also, they discovered a worn humidifier pad, which we had them replace. Also, we had a new furnace filter that we hadn't installed and they accommodated us by installing it themselves. Can't say enough good things about them.

I called for an estimate and was very impressed with their receptionist, she was very professional and nice. She answered all my questions and gave me a quote over the phone. We set up an appointment and time for that same week and she said they would call me when they were on there way. (which they did.) Dan and Jim did the work and I can't say enough about their professionalism and how good of a job they did.They worked together very well and were very thorough in doing their task. They left no mess at all for me to clean up. I would recommend Amistee to anyone interested in having this type of work done. They were SUPER !!!
