Amistee Air Duct Cleaning and Insulation

I couldn't have been more pleased with this company and the representatives who did the work. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent. The JIm and David team technicians were prompt, courteous, and explained the process in detail. They were methodical, very careful not to damage anything as they moved about the house and took great care in laying tarps under the vacuum hoses and equipment.

Very Polite and friendly. They explained what they were going to do and then got setup and started working. I highly recommend that if you have pets you might want to take them out of the house. I had taken my dog out but the noise really frighten my cat. But Chad and Rick were very good and helpful in getting my cat into a room that was completed. One might want to consider the time of year when doing this because the garage door and back door were open and fortunately it wasnt too cold. At the beginning ,they also let us know of 2 additional services they offer-Dryer vent cleaning and the Antimicrobial Sanitizer and Deodorizer and the prices. We took both and especially glad they did the dryer vent because it was bad due to pet hair. They worked efficiently and cleaned up. Used my coupon and happy with the work. Would highly recommend! Glad to support a Novi based business being a Novi resident.

It was a good price because we have a bigger home.

Overall they did great. They always had shoe covers on walking in my house so my floors did not get dirty, they ran a long piece of cloth through my house that the hose went on so it was not directly on my carpet. They let me know everything that they were doing. They even gave me tips on things I did not know. The only thing I would do different is doing it in the winter, I did not realize the door had to be open the whole time they were here, thank god I had a little heater plugged into my room because I have a newborn. And they said it would take about 3 hours to do and it only took like an hour and a half, which was nice.

They provide a good quality of service at a good price. They were very contientious of my home and cleaned up well after.

The team from Amistee conducted a thorough duct cleaning, accessing supply and return vents in our basement. They finished up by cleaning our dryer vent which was particularly congested. I was pleased with how thorough Chad and his associate were, while I watched most of the process unfold. Chad used his digital camera to take before/after pictures and share them with me while they worked. We would not hesitate to call Amistee when it's time to repeat the process.

Chad and Rick showed up on time and were very professional. They did not try to upsell me, but made suggestions based on my situation. The process was clean.

What's to tell?. They came in and did their job and were very friendly as well as efficient. I would definately recommend them and use them again myself.

They called about one hour prior to the time they were scheduled to arrive to inform me they were on their way. They arrived and assessed the best access for what they needed to do. They told me everything they would be doing. They were clean, neat, pleasant, professional and very responsive to questions.

Barry and his partner arrived at our home. After a quick tour they went right to work. They left the house cleaner than when they arrived—not just the ducts! It was a great experience and I'm thrilled to be breathing clean air.

We saw the before and after pictures of the air ducts. The company was very professional, and did what they said they were going to do. Wish we would have thought to have had our dryer vent pipe cleaned out at the same time!

We did use them but they never found anything wrong. They were professional and I would use them again. I would also recommend them to others.

The 2 man crew arrived on time, were very freindly and professional. They explained what they were going to do and estimated accurately how long it would take. They started by having me walk them through my home to identify the locations of each hear run & the furnace and central cold air return. Then they laid down drop cloths to protect the floors, brought in the large vacuming equipment and air lines then went to work. They removed every heat vent, cleaned the duct and took a few pictures to show they were now clean. I would had preferred a live video going further into the duct rather than still pictures which only showed the first few feet. Also, this was expensive (reason for "B" rating) but to get certified high quality gdood people apparently you have to pay more. I did have an internet coupon for $30 bring the price down to $365. Also, about a week later I received a letter from Amistee with before & after pictures of the distribution plenum cleaning and discount coupons ($30) to give to new customers and if they use them Amistee will send me a $25 gas card.

Jim and Dan (from Amistee Air Duct Cleaning) arrived on time. Jim was very professional and courteous. He took his time when explaining the duct cleaning process to me always checking to make sure I understood. My wife and I could tell the difference throughout the whole house. They also honored my Angie's List coupon for $50 off and sent a nice Thank you e-mail along with before and after picture of our air ducts. My wife who has allergies is very happy with the results. She has already given Amistee's phone number to a coworker.

The company was very professional and friendly to deal with, from Leslie on the phone to Chad and Rick who did the work. They were able to arrive early, after checking with us first. They described what they were going to do, then did a great job of protecting the floors and walls from their equipment with drop cloths and foam blocks. The work took a couple of hours, and the before and after photos of the inside of the main duct they e-mailed us showed how effective the process was.

Josh showed us before and after pictures. He thoroughly explained the process. They did the work in the time they committed too. They cleaned up afterwards. On time, careful, courteous thorough, efficient.

They were very professional, highlighting some problems with accessing ducts where basement ceilings were drywalled. The were timely, courteous and very careful with their equipment. Laid down drop cloths and padded hoses at room corners so paint was not marred.

Great company to deal with. Wish there were more companies like Amistee around. Everybody was very pleasant to deal with from the owner to the customer service representatives and the crew that performed the work. They called ahead to confirm, showed up on time and did a thorough cleaning of all the duct work. Their clean-up was excellent. The furnace room floor is actually cleaner now than before they showed up. Price was fair. Their main competitor in the metro Detroit area quoted 20% higher. All in all a great experience!

The two men came as requested and cleaned out the air ducts, and showed us before and after pictures to show the difference. It took them about two hours as they said it would.

Very impressed. Exceeded expectations. Received call in morning with estimated time. Were on time; early. wore protective booties. kind, courteous. Good team work. Took time to explain process; showed before & after pictures. Would have expected them to vacuum the paint chips left in front of furnace and make sure attic crawl door was completely closed when finished...but those are little things compared to the great job that was done.

Worked with our schedules to establish the best timing for us. Great coordination of timing on the day of the cleaning. Josh and Chadwick were polite,professional, courtious explained every step of the process. Demonstrated exceptional consideration for containing any mess from the process. Showed us the before and after pictures, and offered valuable sugestions as to maintaining our HVAC. Outstanding experience, and no hesitation about recommending them to friends and family.
