Sun Home Improvement is the type of company that you want to get from any home contractor you hire for work. From the first meeting I had with Rob Voepel to the installation and clean up they were totally awesome. My wife and I decided to replace our builder grade windows with a new set. We contacted 4 contractors in the area for quotes. Three were contractors off of Angies list. One was a contractor hired by a neighbor in my community, Mulligan. I do not recommend talking with them. Look up their ratings on Google and Yelp. You will not find anything in Angie's list on them. The 3 companies on Angies list came out and gave me quotes. Rob listed to what we wanted. We asked for his input on fiberglass vs. vinyl. For the money savings we decided to go with vinyl. He recommended Sunrise windows as one of the best on the market. The other contractors suggested the same. We did our research and found that Sunrise was as good as Rob stated. Lifetime warranty on windows and Rob says they have lifetime warranty on their workmanship. Plus he provided over 12 references of people we could call for feedback. We called two of them and they stated very positive reviews. The first reason why I liked Rob was that he said he would give us his lowest price up front. No haggling. I liked that. We had 22 windows total plus doorwall. When I got his quote, it was in spreadsheet format, with all options and specs clearly identified on it. No confusion, no ambiguity. We talked about some minor changes and Rob explained how his guys installed the windows and the products they used, I knew they would be a great company to hire. Rob stated the windows could take anywhere from 2-6 weeks to arrive. It was closer to 6 weeks. Scheduled the job over two days. Guys came in, were polite and professional. They did awesome work. Kept the dust and debris in the home to a minimum. Cleaned up after each window before they went to the next. The doorwall was the time consuming install and done last But they did an awesome job. Rob came by and checked on the job before they left. We have had the windows now for 4 months and they have greatly improved the comfort and air in the home. The old windows were horribly drafty and would ice up when it got cold due to the humidity in the home. Our pleated shades would be blowing inward due to all the air that would come through the windows. These windows do nothing of the sort. Shades hang down and no movement. Love them. I can now open the windows in the winter without the air temp in the home dropping 4 degrees. Furnace runs less and the noise reduction is significant. Rob can expect us to call them for any future home project we need done.

The whole process went very smooth starting with Rob site survey and pricing offer and ending with the timely installation performed by installation team lead by Scott. Scott and his team met every challenge encountered with professionalism and provided a high quality service .

The contractor provided an accurate cost estimate and I was contacted, as promised, prior to construction regarding the schedule. Subsequently they had an opening and moved my construction ahead several weeks from the estimate and completed the work on time. The quality of the work was excellent, they encountered a section of rotten underlayment during construction and replaced it at a reasonable cost. Clean up of all material and debris after project completion was excellent. Employees were courteous and conscientious. I would use Sun Home Improvement again and highly recommend them.

This was a great job. I was first taken by their no haggle pricing. Rob said the price was what it was. That made me feel like I was getting a fair price. They installed my gutters with gutter guards first, and that went well. The main project was the replacement of all 11 windows in my house. The crew was very professional and did a great job. While it wasn't perfect, they handled all the issues that arose perfectly. When I compare them to other contractors I've used is where they really stand out. I will never use another contractor for windows again. These guys are the best.

We got quotes from several installers. These were well priced. All 9 windows installed and finished in the promised time (one day). Cut out and replaced one rotted board. Did not give me time to go buy poison when they found carpenter ants in one window. I was not prepared for that so did not tell them to stop. In retrospect, I wish they would have said "take care of this while we move ahead on a different window." That is my only complaint.

Been needing new windows for about 2 years. With several high priced quotes in hand and what seemed to be a waste of time in dealing with other contractors, we thought we'd never get new windows. After checking out contractors on Angie's List we settled on Sun Home Improvement, which was very highly rated. Rob, the co-owner, stopped by promptly at the agreed upon time to go over the windows and see if we had any questions. Very professional and definitely a no pressure approach. Decided to go with them mainly because of their installation methods, fair price, and the highly regarded replacement windows they use. Once the day came to install the windows the crew was prompt, professional, and definitely took pride in their work. While the guys were busy working, Dave, the other co-owner, stopped by every day to make sure everything was on schedule and if they were any problems with the windows. Took 3 days to replace about 24 windows, and when they were done they clean-up and hauled away all of the debris. All-in-all a great company to deal with and seems to stand behind their work. Hopefully, we'll have no issues with these new windows, which we do love, but time will tell. Definitely will not hesitate to call Sun Home Improvement again whenever we need something else done to our house like roofing or siding.

The owner showed up on time and gave a fair estimate. The managers was responsive to my calls and kept me informed about the schedule and progress. The quality of the work is very good. Workers are professionsal so it requires little time and effort to monitor the progress the work.

I was very impressed with owner of the company. He was not high pressure sales. He gave me a breakdown of the cost of each window. His installers did a great job; on time and clean. The windows look GREAT!!! Have gotten many compliments.

From start to finish they did an awesome job. Sun improvement came when stated to do the estimate and answered all my questions. No high pressured sales pitch like one gets at other businesses. Recommend Sunrise Windows and provided two estimates, one for double hung and the other for sliders. The installers were very professional. I plan to use Sun Home Improvement to do the rest of my windows.

Everything went according to schedule and budget. Nice people! They coordinated everything with my sister, where the work was done, keeping me informed (as she did, too), and sending invoices. They cleaned up completely. They were just great!

Did very good job. Price was lower than competition and window arrived earlier than expected. Two men crew came and installed the window very fast and cleaned after themselves very well. Should have used them before for my past windows projects

Siding on the south side of our house was badly damaged from a wind storm. Making an appointment for an estimate was easy, the owner came on time, the estimate was reasonable. He was willing to repair only the damaged side and reuse the old gutters to save money. In the long run, we decided to change all the siding and the gutters. The gentlemen who installed the siding, Chris and Billy, were very reliable, polite and did an excellent job despite the terrible weather. Chris and the Dave (owner's son) communicated with us every step of the way. What a great company! We already have another project lined up for them.

They were a big help on our major renovation by replacing all windows and reframing areas around cantilever picture windows. In addition they replaced siding around window areas, front door and replaced porch post. They were very prompt and courteous while doing the work. Extremely professional from sales visit through ordering process and construction.

Excellent knowledgeable and professional workmanship and communication. Very responsive. Even made a color change suggestion for the windows which we found to be good advice and accepted. Would work with them again.

No words can describe how happy we are with Sun Home Improvement. In all aspects, they are simply the best. They are everything you'd want from a contractor. I'd never hire or consider anyone else. Great people and great company.

We had Sun to our home to provide us with estimates and found them to be reasonably cost competitive. They were by far the most personable company we'd contacted and their salesperson helped us figure out exactly what we wanted to accomplish with our repairs. They did an excellent job of keeping us informed of the status of our work order. Because there were multiple concurrent orders, when some of the materials arrived early they contacted us and scheduled that work ahead of the rest so that we could get things completed sooner. They required multiple visits to complete the work, on every visit they did a good job of cleaning up the work site following their job (both inside and outside). They followed up days later with either calls or visits to review the quality of the work and to ensure we were happy with their services. Every visit was conducted professionally. Not only were Sun professional but their crews were also nice guys. On one of the last days on site, they crew that was working asked my wife if she would mind if they took a short break. They used that break to help out my elderly neighbor who was raking leaves. The crew grabbed a couple of rakes and helped her get her yard work taken care of in no time. We had a really good experience with this company and would happily use them in the future.

Jim the owner responded to my request for an estimate within 1 day. He measured the windows and left me a color selection brochure. That night I received an email with the quote. When I called to say I would go with his company again he came back for final measurements within 2 days. When he had an install date for me he called to schedule the work and the crew installed on the date he gave me. The installers was very efficient, professional, and cleaned up all the debris to my satisfaction. I'm very pleased with the windows and will use Sun Home Improvement again when I need to replace other windows. I would highly recommend this company.

The workers were friendly, efficient and professional. There were two problems which were both were handled responsibly and remedied. The first person who came in and measured misunderstood or misnoted one window details and ordered the wrong window. Upon realizing this, the project manager (Dave) came in and took the order for the correct window. He called as soon as it was ready, and installed it. There was one window that broke as the workers lifted it on a humid day with a suction-cup device that broke a hole in the window. This window was quickly re-ordered, and we were not asked for any payment until both of those issues were fixed. The windows look great, work smoothly, and are easy to clean. I'm glad we went with the mid-level price windows. I've been less impressed with the Pella French Door. It is a confusing, non-intuitive locking mechanism, and still hard to lock/unlock. I finally called Sun Home back to come and adjust this door in some way to make it easier to open.

The 2 man crew was great, however we were told by our salesnam, James Voepel that it would be a 2 day job. The crew told us they were given 1 day by Dave (crew leader)

Jim, Dave, Brian were all very helpful and professional. Everything went smoothly and on a timely fashion. They replaced all the rotten wood under the windows as we requested. They cleaned up the property at the end of every day. We would use them again.

Picked the worse winter in history to have out side work done, Dealing with the snow. Made thing move very slowly, this was no fault of sun home improvement the weather was to blame..
