Medical Care Alert

Again, I highly recommend this service for anyone concerned about their older parent living by themselves.

They were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I would highly recommend them.

Our questions were answered satisfactorily and we placed the order. Unfortunately we weren't able to persuade the family member in question to accept the alarm. She sent the alarm box back unopened and customer service had already refunded our credit card charge before we got around to calling them.

walkie talkie like pendant is not pretty and is pretty big but beats yealling grom bathroom to a base system elseware in the house. so far so good price was reasonable.

Definately an F. The service does not function as advertised. When I called customer service to cancel and get a refund I was conveniently hung up on when they attempted to transfer me customer relations. It took me another 20 minutes to get to a billing specialist because 'everyone was busy'. When I got to billing they simply told me they couldn't do anything about it. When I asked for a supervisor, let's just say she wasn't very much interested in the problems I was having and actually hung up on me.

I was looking for a GSP system for my elderly parent who had decided to give up their phone land line & therefore could no longer have the LifeStation alert system they had ( which by the way was excellent & I would highly recommend). After calling 5 other providers who did not have service in the area where they lived, I was able to speak with a representative from Medical Alert. She wa GREAT. She explained the service provided, the limitations, checked to see if service was available where my parent lived, asked questions about my parent's accessibility to supports, etc., etc. She told me about the options & at no time did I feel that she was trying to "sell" me the Medical Alert product. She gave me her direct line for future communication. A week later I was with my parent & we called the direct line given to me. This person answered & was able to quickly recall the details of the conversation we had had the week before. She provided additional information for my parent, walked us through the costs & benefits of short term vs. long term service. Most importantly when we made the decision to go w/Medical Alert my parent was assured that given any issue they would be able to speak with a person directly - not respond to a recorded message & press mulitiple buttons to get an answer. My recommendation - need a GPS system that can assure your parent peace of mind anywhere they go without them thinking they have to call 911 - go with Medical Alert.

This company was very nice and professional. Other companies- Life Alert and affiliates would not even let you talk to a sales rep. without all your information. The representative I dealt with -Charles even gave me his cell number. The price was competitive and the service was great.

I spoke with their representative on the telephone, agreed to one of their plans, and subscribed to the service. My equipment arrived quickly and I was able to set up the service easily by following the instructions included. I have tested every week since then and had a successful test. I had two "false alarms" and was helped by a customer service representative to avoid them by not wearing the alarm button on the same wrist as my wrist watch and by not wearing it while sleeping ubt attaching it to my CPAP machine instead.

Everything is going well. They were very helpful during the installation, and I am pleased with the system.

It was a great experience. The service representative was quite knowledgeable, and she made it very easy for me to order the system. Furthermore, they delivered the system on time and provided contact information in case we needed help with the installation

It's great. The system gives me excellent peace of mind, and my mother is actually able to speak into the device around her neck. They also gave us a lock box that houses a code which will allow the medical personnel to enter the house if we aren't at home.

Everything went well, and we had no problems with the service.

After calling Medical Care Alert regarding an emergency push button system, the experience with customer service was very pleasant. Everything was explained in much detail. This included the differences between similar products on the market today.Thereafter it was simple to choose the most convenient one for us to use. On their website also is a helpful video to study the product until it arrives. All has gone smoothly.

Excellent service, just as promised

I ordered the Medicalcare Alert on the internet. It was delivered to my moms home 4 days later by USPS. I took it out of the box, read the paperwork and plugged it into the phone line and electrical outlet. She strapped the bracelet around her wrist and I called the toll free number and spoke to the customer service department telling them that we were doing a "test" for a new system. We hung up, she pushed the button, immediately a person spoke on the intercom to us. They asked if we had any questions and then we hung up. I placed a house key in the door safe that attaches to the door knob, filled out the paperwork that asks for its location along with the locations of her medicines. I also filled out a list of people to call when the button is activated. These people are notified after the emergency responders are notified. I mailed the form in and they got it within 3 days. You can also call them and give them the information. It was all very EASY! And it is a good thing I had ordered this because at 7pm last night the phone rang and the words "First Response" appeared on my phone. The gentleman on the other line identified himself and said that my mother had fallen in the hallway and that he had notified the emergency responders. I told him that I was on the way and he noted the make and model of my car and asked for my estimated time of arrival. When I got there, the responders were in the house (they used the key in the front door key safe and the code was given to them by the dispatchers at First Response ) had her up in a chair and were bandaging her arm and taking her vitals. The system worked beautifully! My mother was embarrassed about the whole situation but I told her that this is why I ordered the system. She was alone and while my dad would have been home within the hour, it was nice to know that she would not have to lay there until someone came home. Thankfully, she was up and around with her walker when we left and she was feeling quite happy that the system worked the way it was intended to work. I was happy too!

Lainie the sales rep was terrific. She was very thorough on explaining everything, but the call was not high pressure. She's the reason I decided on this company. The product was delivered as promised and seems to be working just fine. The cost was $300.00.

I called and checked to make sure everything is okay. I do the testing each week. Their customer service is terrific. The lady I spoke with is great at what she does. She was not pushy and just did a really good job. They do a lot of extra services that one of their competitors did not. I am able to go outside with the device and you could not do it with the other service providers device.

She accidently set it off a few times and they have been very nice about the situation. She lives alone so it’s peace of mind knowing she has it. We are very happy with the service.

It's excellent. They were very helpful. I got their service and I then inquired about something else; they told about something new they started and I jumped on it right away. They were then very quick to get it to me. I am thinking about getting it for my cousin; she is alone and should have something like this in case she falls. I recommend them, they are good.

I haven't used it as an emergency but so far, the customer service has been very good. It’s nice because their people are based here in the United States and they are professionally trained medical people. They aren’t doctors or anything but I like that I can call and speak with someone with no language barriers, especially if I get in a medical emergency. The price is fair.

This is the best customer service I have ever had. Sue Neal is who I dealt with by phone. She made herself available by her personal cell phone for us. She went over and above to help us out. I ordered a fall detector on top of the medical alert, which I think is a product that many people would benefit from. Do not wait too long to do this. It is better to order it sooner than later.

I am elderly and my children recommended that I start this service. I signed up for it, and it’s been very good. Fortunately, I haven’t needed their services yet, but they’ve been good to work with overall.

It turned out fine. We did not have to use it for the three months of service but we did have it on. They were very nice as well.

It is doing fine. I did not have to have as much money up front. The initial payment was quite a bit less. They were extremely professional.

It has been very good. They were very efficient. They communicated very well with answering my questions. They sent the product very quickly and my mom is very comfortable wearing the system. I was the care giver for her and moved. This system has created piece of mind for both of us.
