When dispatched, the first responders are given the combination to retrieve the key. This works just perfectly as she fell and could not get up while my dad was on an errand. The first responders were able to get the key, enter the house and provide assistance to my mother. Another time, she fell and busted her head open in the middle of the night. My dad could not hear her so she pushed her button and the first responders arrived in less than 5 minutes. My mother tests her unit every month and she has had to use it 3 times in the past 2 years. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. There are cheaper products out there but I have had such good service with this group of people that I intend to keep them. The system has battery back up in case of power outage and my mother can use the button for any emergency whether it be a fire/smoke, intruder, falling or any medical emergency that she feels that she needs help.

The system works well and I've tested it twice so far and they answer very quickly after I press the button. The only reason I gave them a B overall rating (instead of A) is because something wasn't clear in their ad. The button one wears around the neck must be accompanied by a separate unit. That unit is what you talk to and you have be within 350 feet of it. This means you have to take that unit with you in your purse (or somewhere) when you leave your house. Would rather have everything in the unit you wear around your neck. I don't think this was clear in their ad (or even when I spoke with them about the deal).

This service proved to be too costly in the long run. They have competitors at lowers prices.

Working with them is very worthwhile. They respond very quickly in an emergency.

All aspects of the service were excellent. I most divinely would recommend this service to other and have. Our overall experience has been great. There is one thing I would change, when the 800# comes up there is no title. Where most phone systems today have a preview pane or it comes up on your tv, if it said something as simple as med alert, it would be helpful.

Everything set up fine. She of course doesn't think she needs it and won't wear it but it's there for an emergency

My mother-in-law had one bad fall, and the service worked very well, with the EMT folks coming within twenty minutes.

Excellent price and customer service. I feel assured that my mother is in good hands with them.

The unit was easy to set-up. The monitoring staff did an excellent job. Several times mother would accidently press the help button on her monitor and the monitoring staff reached out to her immediately. She often remarked that the people were friendly and answered all of her questions. Mother has moved to a location where a personal monitor is no longer necessary. Otherwise, I would continue the service.

My mother is elderly and I was concerned about her safety and falling so I purchased and signed a contract with Medical Care Alert.

It has been fine. They are very responsive, polite, and friendly.

We haven't had to use it. When we test it it works. It gives me a piece of mind if I'm not home. The price is reasonable.

They are fine. The first machine wasn't working and they replaced it. I have a piece of mind that they are there for my mother. We have had the product for 3 years and haven't had to use it. They are very professional.

I'm not sure if I really need it. When we've done the tests it seems like a long time until someone gets on the phone. It doesn't connect to a satellite. Mine goes around the perimeter of the yard.

The button that she has has a microphone on it and they ask if she wants them to call family when she pushes it. It is absolutely fantastic. It's the best in the world. I contacted them during the night and left a message. They called me the next morning. Debbie was very involved and offered to come to me to help set everything up. My aide was able to help me. It was very easy to set up and there are plenty of videos online. They worked with me on the price and are flexible. I received the email confirmation which was beautifully written out with everything we talked about. Debbie emailed me that night to make sure everything was ok. I still have to decide if I want to use the lock-box. They all have a genuine attitude. The pendant that I got, I can use it as a phone temporally. It came with a rechargeable battery and the charger is part of the unit. I can go throughout my house and yard. I can even go to a neighbors and it will reach. It is an amazing system. I have already tested it. I am slight paying more than what I had previously with another company but it's extremely worth it. They have superb two way communication due to a built in miniature microphone in the pendant.

It has been good. They have called me one time about the battery. I've had it for 2 years. I haven't had any problems.

All we've done so far is test the system and that went well. My mom is a tiny little thing and the pieces are all in grey plastic and lit is large on her.
