Description of Work: I used Deck Mate for years with good results. Beginning in 2013 I kept asking for a quote for service to steam clean and reseal my deck. I could rarely get the owner on the phone and when I did there were promises and excuses offered. This continued until about June of 2014 when I finally left a voice mail telling him that if he didn't want to do the work I'd appreciate the courtesy of being told. This was a person that had done work for me for 20 years without incident. No call ever came. I don't know how a business can be run this way.

+ -1 moreUsed the company a few years ago and they performed the services as expected. Received a letter this Spring quoting prices, both "pre paid" and "At the time of service". I prepaid to get a little lower price. They never showed up and never answered my calls. If you decide to use this company, for whatever reason, DO NOT PREPAY. Recommend consulting Angie's List. There are a lot of good deck maintenance companies with high ratings. You won't be dissepointed. I wasn't.

Description of Work: Power wash a 12x16 wood deck with stripper & seal it again.

+ -1 moreI called Quentin and he went to my house and then gave me a verbal quote. I asked for the quote to be faxed or emailed and I gave him my information. I waited a few days but I did not receive the quote in writing. I called and left a message stating that I wanted to hire him but I needed a written quote. I never received a return call.
Description of Work: No work was performed.

+ -1 moreThe quality of work was very high. My deck is not made of top grade wood, but they managed to make it look considerably better than it was. I called a number of competitors, and they had the best price.
