From the start the owners were great to work with. They met with us quickly and helped us decided what might work well with our large space. Marilyn has a good sense of design and it was obvious they wanted to do quality work. I had a couple questions they answered with experienced knowledge. They followed up on our conversation with emails that contained links to websites on different varieties and pictures contrasting the choices we had discussed. When I went further and did some research on my own and brought another new thought to the conversation, they were willing to take another look around and source a particular tree I wanted. They offered several sources and were very careful about the quality and health of the trees planted. We had to wait a few extra days as they rejected some usual nurseries stock and found healthy stock elsewhere (the difference only being found below the burlap wrapping which I would never have seen). By this point we were out of town and they finished the work with us gone, taking pictures and emailing us on the process. The install went beautifully and the yard looks amazing! They unwrapped the trees and placed them all with roots unconfined-- always make sure whatever landscaper you choose removes the wire and wrapping for these trees! They mulched everything (almost 40 yards!) and took out trees and bushes which had dies due to the severe winter weather. My lawn is green and the trees are now being hand watered by Maxwell Irrigation for a few weeks as they settle into the fall. With their guarantee, quality work and good management, I cannot recommend this company enough. It is wonderful to work with a company whose owners take such pride in their work and who I felt I could trust.

Tom was professional from start to finish. He responded quickly and came on a Saturday to do an estimate. He was friendly with my young kids. Installation went smooth with no issues.

Maxwell Irrigation did a fantastic job. They were referred to us by a competitor, Daily Rain, who was in turn referred to us by our landscaper. The owner of Daily Rain let us know they were swamped and could not provide good service to us right now (a sign of integrity), but he has a longstanding professional relationship with the owner of Maxwell Irrigation. Tom Maxwell called promptly, set up an appointment to provide a quote, and showed up on time. After gathering other quotes and talking to other vendors, Maxwell was selected to do the installation. The plan was to begin some preliminary work on Friday while the plumber was here to do his work. The plumber didn't show and Maxwell immediately got on the phone to find another (successfully) and to let a colleague know the plumber he referred was not dependable. The other preliminary work was still completed on Friday as promised and they confirmed the plan to arrive by 8:00 am Saturday morning. The entire crew was onsite by 8:00 am as promised, including the plumber who stuck around all day to help with the rest of the labor. It turned out to be the hottest day of the summer to date with high humidity and a heat index well over 100 degrees. The crew FINISHED THE ENTIRE JOB in one day! Not only that, they tidied and cleaned as they went along. We have new landscaping and they were very respectful of that, taking care to avoid damaging new plants and shrubs. The owner thoroughly tested each and every watering zone to confirm sprinklers operated as planned and in the correct order, and spent time showing me how to use the new system. My husband noticed a few (very few) sprinkler heads with some minor leaking and pooling, and I found two areas where small adjustments needed to be made to ensure a few shrubs were thoroughly watered. Since it was a holiday weekend, my husband made a call that made it clear the problems were minor and he did not expect a call for a few days. Holiday or no, Maxwell Irrigation called back a few hours later. We were impressed and really pleased to have worked with a company that obviously cares about its customers. We will not hesitate to call them again or to refer them to others.

I used there service back in the spring and the service was fine. Most recently I wanted them to come out and winterize my sprinkler system. I called them many many times and said they would schedule me in. They said it would be a couple of weeks before they could come out. Several weeks past and I had not heard from them. I called them again and they told me they couldn't give me an exact date of them they could come out. This went on several times. The women who answers there phones was rude with me and told me they were very busy and that they couldn't keep answering my calls and they would get out when they could. Even after several times of calling them they never gave me a date of when they could come out. I ended up going with another provider b/c it was getting too late in the season. I received a letter from another company this spring saying they would be taking over all of the work for Maxwell.

Tom Smith was extremely professional from the moment we met. He worked hard to understand our particular needs and addressed everything. His quote was not the lowest, nor was it the highest yet we felt his professionalism, approach, warranty and overall expertise were head and shoulders above the rest. I would unhesitatingly recommend his service

THEY ARE TRUSTWORTHY. THEY TESTED AN OLD SYSTEM TO DETERMINE INEFFICIENT AND DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT. THEY REPLACED IT WITH AN UPDATED CONTROL PANEL AND MORE EFFICIENT SPRINKLER HEADS.

THERE ISN'T MUCH TO BLOWING OUT THE SPRINKLER SYSTEM, BUT WE HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH MAXWELL. THEY COME AT THE TIME THEY SAY, AND QUICKLY GET THE JOB DONE.
