Purchase went very well. Good selection. Good price. Due to the weight of the product and the size of my car I had to make several trips to bring flooring to my home. Warehouse crew was very helpful, assisted me with loading my car on every trip.

I purchased some carpet from McNabbs from the Auto Show sale that they have every winter after Detroit Auto Show. It is only used briefly for the auto show then resold to public. There are some good deals to be had but know this: you need to have an idea of the prices for new carpet and what you are looking for before you go as it can be overwhelming. That being said, I have purchased carpet twice through them and have been happy with the outcome both times. Another thing to be aware of is that you need to take the carpet with you so make sure you have a big truck or van when you go.

They helped us find the warehouse carpet and came to install the next week. I liked how quick they were and that the quote matched the price. Installers even brought a vaccum to clean up after. The price was about the same as Lowes but the quality of the carpet was much higher.

The guys did a great job, from sales to install. No issues at all.

Went in to Mcnabb talked to saleslady we picked out some carpet we liked. We set up an appointment for someone to come out to measure. The saleslady said she would call us back two days after the measurement. About a week later someone came out and measured, and a few days past and she hadn't called us back, so my wife and I went to store on the fourth day to see what the status was, she said she didn't have time yet to figure out how much carpet we needed. She finally figured out how much carpet we needed and gave us the cost. I had a few questions about the carpet she said she wasn't sure of the answer and would call us later, never received a return call. Went back to store about a week after that and was thinking about getting some better quality carpet and had some questions about that carpet (she didn't have answer), she said she would call us. Brought home a sample of the upgraded carpet, but she never called us back with any information. Got so fed up with not getting any call backs, wife returned the sample and haven't heard yet from her or anyone from the company. They just don't seem to care.

Their sales staff was friendly, helpful, and not overbearing. The selection seemed very good. We would definitely be able to find what we were looking for with the options they had available. The pricing was better than some of their competitors, but ultimately we opted to go with another provider that was less costly.

The carpet was ordered 3 weeks prior and once it arrived it was installed within one week. The installers were quick and professional. It took 2 days for complete installation. I was happy with the carpet and the service.

The sales experience was a little off-putting. The salesman originally seemed unwilling to help us, but warmed up as the transaction progressed. We have never purchased carpet in a setting where some was previously used at car shows, some was the unused leftovers ordered for the shows, and some could be ordered traditionally. Because of our short timeline we went with the unused overstock. Although we kept hearing that it was a tremendous deal, neither my husband or I felt that the savings were particularly noticeable. The selections are obviously more limited if you choose this option. That said, the removal of the old carpet and pad, and the installation of the new went flawlessly. The newly painted walls were not touched and there was no mess to clean up.

I came in on Monday and they came to my house on Thurs. and it was installed. They did an excellent job. I didn't have to do anything because they cleaned up everything after installation.

McNabb is good. I don't have any dislike; the pricing was good and they were helpful.

Sales person was very accommodating when told of preferences. Installation crew was very timely and offered suggestions for stairway installation.

When we walked into the McNabb showroom we were greeted by a friendly receptionist and directed to a sales consultant. Our sales consultant, Chuck, answered all our questions about the type of carpeting that would best suit the needs of our home. Once we selected our carpeting and padding we were given a quote and Chuck scheduled a representative to come to our home and verify all the room sizes. Our carpeting was installed by Tony and Jamie, and we were very pleased with their professional attitude and work ethic. We felt comfortable and confident with the way we were treated by everyone at McNabb. Everything was done in a timely manner and within our budget. We love the carpeting and we highly recommend McNabb to meet any of your flooring needs.

The sales process was pleasant. Our salesperson was helpful and knowledgeable, guiding us to the best level of quality for the texture, color and price of carpet and padding we were seeking. the installers actually showed up about 15 minutes early--imagine that!--and were courteous and quick. They installed the carpet and padding in 12 x 22 foot bedroom plus the closet in less than an hour. Needless to say, we will use McNabb again.

did I am so glad I chose DE McNabb for my new flooring projects! I live really close by to the company and was in the market for new flooring. My first contact was on 7/23/13 when I stopped by on what I had planned to be an information gathering trip. Upon walking in I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who directed me to Chuck Economou, their floor supervisor. We discussed what would be the best options for my budget and living situation ( 3 cats in the house) and he directed me to the appropriate products-vinyl sheet flooring for the kitchen/laundry room and a newly developed carpet product that would stand up well to any potential pet accidents from both an order and staining standpoint. I felt no sales pressure whatsoever during our meeting. Chuck took the time to make a detailed estimate based on blueprints I had of the house to give me the best information I could have. In fact I was so impressed I decided to place an order right then and there! The next day, the measuring technician came out and made a detailed plan. I had called Chuck back that morning to let him know I didn't think the color I had chosen for the vinyl floor would match. He said it would be no problem to change it. In fact he came by the house a couple days later with more samples took the time to double check the measuring and layout plans. He also accepted some Angie's List coupons that I had found and quot;after the factand quot; without hesitation. The plan was to do the vinyl flooring first and the carpet later. Product was ordered and Phase 1 ( vinyl floor) was scheduled for 8/6 and 8/7. On installation day, the technician arrived when expected. He was polite, clean and organized. I had contracted for McNabb to move my appliances and remove/replace the trim. He even moved the laundry tub! ( I wasn't sure about disconnecting the gas dryer, so I had my repair guy do that just to be sure the house didn't blow up). The technician faced a lot of difficulties because of the layout of my kitchen ( lots of silly angles in the nook area). Also the humid weather didn't help things dry, so installation actually took an extra half a day. But that didn't matter to me! I'd much rather have someone take their time to do a nice job than rush it and he sure did that. My floor looks awesome and I could not be happier I am sure that DE McNabb will do just as good a job with the carpet install on 8/20 and 8/21. This company believes in service and doing the job right. They also stand behind their products and their workmanship. Yes they might be more expensive than the big box stores, but it's well worth it. I've never had a sales person from a big box store keep me as informed and come out each day to check on the progress of the job like Chuck did. Also I've rarely had an installer work with such attention to detail.

We went to McNabbs expecting a more personal experience than you get at the and quot;big box storesand quot; like Lowes and Home Depot. Upon arrival at McNabbs, we were met at the desk by a young women who seemed more interested in talking to the salesman than helping us. The salesman also seemed uninterested in our business - I'm still wondering if he scored a date. We proceeded to the higher end carpet without their assistance. At that point an older salesman approached us. He assured us that they had and quot;less expensive carpeting in the backand quot;. We weren't looking to keep it cheap - we wanted to find the right product for us. When we began asking questions about density and twist of the carpet, it was dismissed as not important. To us, it was. Needless to say, the big box stores now will be getting our money.

Our experience with them was very good. He was prompt, he did exactly what he said he was going to do , he did an excellent job and he left.

They were good and I didn't really have any dislikes. They answered all my questions and went with what I wanted to do; unlike some other estimators. They were customer friendly and didn't try to up sell me.

The salesperson we dealt with wasn't the best. He was young and while he appeared to have good product knowledge, he seemed to have a difficult time communicating it. Still, a appointment was made for someone to come out to verify measurements, and that went well, however, after that no one ever called us back. We had to call the salesperson and ended up actually going back into the store to finalize a deal. Again, the carpet seems nice, I am sure the price was fair, and we're looking forward to the installation we've scheduled. The actual sales experience was a little frustrating, but not terrible.

I went to McNabb looking to purchase about 1500 square feet of higher-quality carpet for our home. I was waited on by a salesman who answered questions and said he could get some lower prices than the extremely high prices listed in their showroom. He also helped me to check out several sample cards and books to take home.. When I returned the samples several days later, the same salesman wasn't in the showroom. I requested three larger samples be sent to us, in order to make a final choice. I was assured that the request would be put on the salesman's desk and he would order them the next day, when he was back at work. No samples arrived, so about a week later I phoned McNabb again. This time, the person on the desk told me that the salesman who had dealt with me was off work indefinitely to deal with some and quot;problemsand quot;. But she assured me that their other staff was picking up his workload -- and that the manager would call me back and quot;as soon as he finishes with the customer he's currently withand quot;. That was last month. No call back. No samples. Carpet is being bought elsewhere.

Very very well. I would go to them again. They were very competitive on the price and their installation was absolutely perfect.

They had a wonderful selection and I got exactly what I wanted. They did a great job and the installers did a great job as well. I would use them again in the future.

It was a perfect installation. The installers were union and very skilled and very knowledgeable. They were friendly and helpful.
