Description of Work: We had Bats in the attic. Animal Pro was very busy but still managed to squeeze us in quickly. Overall process took 2-3 weeks which is normal and they even replaced a piece of eave trim that roofers had damaged during earlier re-shingle. This is the second time we have used Animal Pro's services and we will contract them again if necessary.

Description of Work: We had been hearing lots of "scratching" in the walls since the cold weather set in. We finally decided to call Animal Pro and I am so glad we did. They were able to determine that mice had come in through an area in our roof that wasn't completely sealed. Animal Pro fixed it and also set traps. We haven't heard any noises since they were here. They told us if the noises didn't stop within 7-10 days to call them back and they would reassess. Animal pro was very professional, reasonably priced and resolved the mice problem. Very happy customer!

+ -1 moreI previously had my house "bat-proofed", but since put in an addition to our 2nd floor which opened up more areas of entry. Animal Pro came in and did the assessment, and quoted fairly what additional work was needed to prevent it happening again. They were on time for the assessment, the initial installation and the final removal of the bat door. He also added some small animal poison into the attic for cost based on what he witnessed in my attic. I would recommend Animal Pro.

+ 0 moreAnimal Pro is a great company! The owner, Joe, has given us excellent service and we wouldn't call anyone else for the job. He is honest, hard-working and a real "PRO." Although our problem isn't yet completely fixed, it will be in the spring, when Joe will reinforce the metal that our crafty squirrels chewed thru to continue to get access to our house. It's frustrating, but Joe is honoring the warrant on his work and continues to work on it.

+ -1 moreThe one way trap door had to be in the roof during August so the baby bats could be mature enough to fly out on their own. Jake returned & sealed up the trap door area. Received a 5 yr guarantee. |Jake was polite, knowledgeable,& explained the process to me. The homeowner does not have to be home while the roof work is being done or when the trap door is removed.
Description of Work: Heard sounds in our attic. Thought maybe mice made a home there.Phoned "Animal Pro", listed in Angie's List. Jake came to house to inspect the attic. He said "bats" were the problem. He inspected outside roof & walked all over surface of roof & found the locations of their entry, 9 total. |He returned to repair the cracks with sheet aluminum & caulk & installed a one way trap door for the bats to fly out & not be able to re enter the attic.

+ 0 moreSo far, they have been wonderful! Joe is very professional, honest, responsive & knowledgeable, as are Jake & Justin. We would hire them again for sure & highly recommend them! Even though they have not yet solved our entire problem, they have made good progress & we are confident that this will be completed successfully soon. It's clear that these guys all work hard, take pride in their work & really care about helping their customers. At this point, traps on the roof, outside of the bay window & in the attic have not been able to capture any of those crafty squirrels, though we did net a couple of mice. We basically live in the middle of the woods, so I'm so glad we found Animal Pro (through Angie's List)! I'm sure we'll be calling on them again & again over the years if (or should I say when?) we have animal problems in the future.
Description of Work: We've had squirrels in both our attic & kitchen soffit & walls for some time now. So far, Animal Pro owner, Joe, as well as Jake and Justin, have come out several times, inspecting the roof, home's exterior & attic. They placed traps in several places & bait in the attic for the mice (which we knew we also had), and installed a screen over our attic fan on the roof. We will also be having them install some metal screening under our bay window ( at an additional cost, of course) as soon as we're sure the squirrels are all out.

Description of Work: We had an animal(s) under our rental property and hired him to capture and remove the animals. There were two raccoons. He was very friendly and very attentive to our concerns. Checked back each day to reset the traps and offered us a 30 day guarentee.

Description of Work: We had some unknown animal(s) that had taken up residence in our attic. Joe answered the phone and asked a few questions, made an appt right away and gave me an estimate. He came when he said he would, wore shoe covers to protect our floors, looked around in the attic and then outside. He asked if we preferred live or dead capture. If you want the creature caught live he'll release it out in the country where he lives--no extra charge. He checks the outside cage daily so the squirrel, in our case, doesn't suffer. And provides a month warranty after he feels he has gotten all the animals removed. He also felt we had a few mice in the attic and spread some bait up there to take care of that issue. We weren't concerned about live capture with them as we were with the squirrels. Joe was a consumate professional and even extended our warranty two weeks as we were going out of town for a bit over the holidays. I would use him again and recommend Animal Pro to anyone who needs unwanted animals removed.

He had to try a couple of different approaches to trap the squirrels as we have a slate roof and he didn't want to walk on the slates to get to the squirrel's entry point. I appreciated his concern for the house (as well as his own safety). He returned several times to check the traps and was responsive when I called him. Overall, a great guy and a positive experience.
Description of Work: We had squirrels in our attic. Joe trapped two of them, plugged up the hole and set traps for some mice as well.

It required several trips, and Joe was very professional, and very good with my dog, and was persistent until the job was finished. What we really appreciated was the fact that it was the owner of the company, himself, that came out and did the work, and not a subcontractor or another employee.

Most of my problems have been outside the house and Joe is even willing to stop by and check on something when I'm not available to be home. He is very knowlegeable about all the pests and animals he has dealt with in and around my home. He is careful around my plants when working outside and has excellent customer service.
Description of Work: Both my dates and my costs are approximate because I have used Animal Pro several times over the last three years for mice, birds, bees, and , shortly, squirrels. Joe is always prompt and does a great job assessing the situation and discussing it with me before taking action. We had a large yellow jacket nest in our attic that was being accessed from the highest point of our two-story house. Joe applied pest killer and came back a second time to reapply to make sure the nest was completely dead. In every experience I've had with him, he returns until he is sure the job is complete.

He made sure to show me everything he was doing and showed me the evidence he found linking our issue to a bird. We used Animal Pro back in 2004 when a squirrel got into our attic and it was a pleasure working with him then as well. He even gave us a special price for being a return customer. If you need pest control or any type of service like that, call Joe. He'll take care of you!
Description of Work: My Husband and I heard a noise coming from our master bathroom fan. It sounded like a bird was in our attic around the fan. Sure enough, I called Joe and he immediately diagnosed our issue. A bird had gotten into our attic through the bathroom vent and had started building a nest. He sealed off the vent with a new cover and inspected our attic and roof which turned out to be fine. The bird was gone and he made sure it wouldn't be able to come back.

Description of Work: Animal Pro determined that the "mice" we thought were in our chimney box was a squirrel. Joe made several visits to check and re-bait the live trap before catching and removing the squirrel. The unexpected, Joe closed the entry point. He also did followup to be sure there were no additional animals.

+ -1 moreWE CALLED THEM BECAUSE I DID NOT WANT THE ANIMALS TO BE HURT. THEY CAME OUT WITH LIVE TRAPS AND REMOVED THEM. THEN THEY RELOCATED THEM TO THE COUNTRY. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK THAT THEY DID AND THAT THEY DID NOT HARM THE ANIMALS WHILE DOING IT.
