They were quite good. Their price was lower than any of the 3 or 4 others that I contacted.

The installation went ok...the technicians were on time and were fairly neat with their work. The A/C unit had to be relocated because the new unit is much larger than my old unit. They walked me through the new thermostat operation and the furnace/air cleaner. The new duct work around the top of the furnace has a slight air leak where it mates to the top of the furnace and several screw holes in the a/c coil box (sits on toip of the funace) were left uncovered, which affects the effiiciency of the unit. The humidifier water inlet valve makes a loud clunking noise when it activiates...I had it replaced once, which Randazzo did for no charge under the warranty. The new valve was quiter for a while, but now is just as loud as the original one. The service rep I spoke to when I made the appointment to have it checked out said his does the same thing in his house. It's odd to me that this valve would not be designed to be quieter (who wants that noise in their house)...I have learned to live with it for now (but still not happy about it)... On the same service visit, I pointed out to the technician that the coolant line to the A/C unit had ice build-up (the part of the line that runs inside the basement to the furnace). He told me he was not sure why it was doing that and said he turned something off that I will have to turn back on in the summer. I would think that this would not be necessary. I will have to have them come back out and deterimine what may be wrong. The humidifier cover does not retain well (Lennox model HCWP3-18). The cover is also the electrical interlock for the unit, so when it is not latched, the humdifier does not function. I finally figured this out after using the furnace for a wekk or so and noticing that the humidity level in the house was staying below the recommended range. When I called the service department at Randazzo, the person I spoke to told me that these units tend to have this problem. Looking at this humidifier, which is a very basic piece of equipment, this is was shocking to me that on the one hand the sales guy says "this is the top of the line unit" and then a serivice perosn from the same company says "a lot of people have that problem with this unit"...has anyone at this company relayed this information back to Lennox to see if they have fixed this problem in their design? This is a simple injection molded part...is should not be that difficult to modify the design it so that it stays latched and operational, particularly whne it is held out as their best humidifer and costs $800.00. There were rebates on the unit , which Randazzo processed for me. I received the rebate check in a timely manner. They also sent the required documentation to support the Federal tax credit. Other than the issues noted above, the unit does seem to run fine...

These guys did a great job! They came well prepared and wasted no time getting right to it. They worked through the day and completed the job and cleaned up thoroughly. Definitely made the right contractor choice. They cut no corners and even did not hesitate to order a new piece of duct from the shop when they discovered one of the dimensions was off just a little. They probably could have made the original piece work but they unwillingly to make any compromise in making it right. We LOVE our new system. A+

I received 3 estimates for a new furnace and A/C. When I called Keith Smith from Randazzo’s to tell him I had decided to go with another company, he worked to provide me with a very competitive value based proposal. This was a Friday. He immediately sent me an updated proposal through email and scheduled the installation for the following Tuesday. The installers phoned to inform me of their arrival time. They were very professional and considerate of both my home and answering my questions. They showed me everything I needed to know about the new units including where I could purchase new media filters for the electronic filter, including Randazzo’s - they provide free shipping if purchased from them. They instructed me on how to set and monitor the humidifier. They cleaned and removed all debris associated with the installation. You would not have known I had just had a furnace and A/C installation. They were great. I would highly recommend this company!

They were prompt. They were thorough. I had to call them back about a few minor things and they came back immediately and did a good job. They were a little expensive.

I called Randazzo to provide a free estimate and they came out the same day. The salesperson did a thorough review of my current system. He then provide three different options for systems with varying prices. No pressure from the salesmen which was very appreciated. He answered all my questions and provided me with literature to read for each of the options. He explained all of the current rebates available from Lennox, Consumers Energy, and tax as well as the various financing options. The next day I called Randazzo and within 5 minutes, was approved for financing and scheduled my install appointment for the following Saturday. The installers arrived on time. They walked me through what would be happening and provided me options for where the humidifier and a/c would be draining as well as the heater would be venting to make sure I would be happy with the final outcome. The install took approximately 6 hours even though I was expecting about 8 hours. They laid drop cloths from the entrance to the basement door so they wouldn't mess up the floor. Once the install was complete, Steve showed me how to use the thermostat, replace the filters, and gave me recommendations for settings. The unit took up more space in the basement than what I was expecting since the salesperson told me I would have more room so I was a little disappointed at that. I had a little clean up in the laundry room from where they drilled through the floor to route the drain hose and had to clean out my laundry tub as well but nothing major. Overall I am very happy with my experience.

Would not recommend them

Price was too high. Was told that I would receive $1500 tax credit no matter what furnace I bought.

They came out within an hour. They fixed the problem immediately. They didn't charge us anything, but they helped us in buying a heating and cooling appliance for a good deal. They were really good. There was a rebate from the manufacturer, and our project cost was very nominal. I don't know how much we spent; my husband took care of everything. Their staff was really good about getting things to us. They were really good in assisting us. The quality of the work was very good. I will use them in the future.

They did a great job. They were on time and had several technicians on the job to get it done in one day. They laid cloths on our floor and stairs to prevent damage. When they left, the area was totally clean - like they were never there. The crew leader took his time to explain the operation of the new electronic thermostat and the system in general.

The repairman located the problem quickly. All of the Freon had leaked from my unit...a problem caused by the builder...and they refilled it. I was especially grateful that they came out at such a late hour.

Randazzo was easy to work with. They were on time, quick, quiet and was all business. I have zero complaints about them and I look forward to a long relationship for them. My air conditioner had a small leak and they fixed that at no charge as well. I can not recommend them enough. When you have guys over your house to do work, this is what you want: quick, quiet, all business and no mess!

I checked with my neighbor who worked for my home builder and he said Randazzo routinely modified blower wiring in the larger colonial (my home) in order to get more velocity out of the blower. I don't appreciate Randazzo charging me for something they insist was my doing. Before this, I didn't have any idea one could do this with a furnace let alone have the inclination to play around with the wiring. This leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth, and although I understand how others can be impressed with them, I cannot recommend this company with such an attitude.

Randazzo was one of 4 companies I contacted. They did the most thorough planning and estimating. The installation went very smoothly, and they explained everything as they went along. Two very minor problems were cited by the building inspector (different strapping required on the outside power box, and an adjustment to the conduit on the furnace.) They immediately came out and fixed these with no issues. Very professionally handled. Excellent work.

My furnace was not working when I called Randazzo. After describing the situation, they recommended a cleaning as it was cheaper than a service call. That was all it needed. Service was prompt and professional. I was very satisfied.

Every time we have used Randazzo the experience has been exceptional. They always make their appointments, & the work is always done professionally & completely. I imagine that there is a cheaper competitor somewhere, but I wouldn't use anyone else.

WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THIS COMPANY WAS ALWAYS ON TIME. THEIR WORK WAS DONE WITH PROFESSIONALISM. THEN THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THE JOB WAS DONE.
