The company called me to tell me of the special they were running for their customers. My husband and I bought the split/system in 2007. I lost my husband 8 months ago and did not know that the furnace needed cleaning. I am so thanful for this company calling me and letting me know. Bill came that Friday afternoon and did an excellent job on my furnace. He even told me how to take care of the AC for the winter. I gave the name of this company to family members and told them to call for a good furnace cleaning too.

AC unit stopped working in the middle of the summer when temps were at their peak. Found UTS in the yellow pages, where it was advertised that they service Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne counties. When I called to make an appointment, I was given an attitude when they realized I am 20 miles away from Livonia. It was almost as if they typically only work in Livonia and didn't want the new business. I should have cancelled the appointment at that point but I didn't. The technician showed up the next day on time. Took a look at the AC unit and determined in less than 5 minutes that additional freon was needed. He then proceeded to write up a bill for $300+ and refused to start recharging the freon until he received cash payment on the spot. This was insulting. When we asked him questions about why freon was needed and whether there was a leak in the AC somewhere, he skirted the issue and claimed that special equipment would be needed to determine the answer and that their company doesn't own the necessary equipment to find the leak and it is very expensive. AC has been working fine since this repair but I will definitely do more homework next time on AC repairs and make sure the right certified techs are called in for the job.

We recommend them highly and many of my friends including my in-laws have used them. We are planning to replace our furnace and air-conditioning unit in summer and we are going to use them again. They have a very good reputation. They are reasonable, they don?t spend time on things you don?t need. The people who come are very polite and cleanup after themselves.

They had installed a Lennox furnace for me 20 years ago. They did a great job then and they are still carrying the Lennox brand and performing the same quality service. I will use their services again for my furnace needs.
