We did the heating and cooling a year ago and it was done by Pritchard. We say it was fair. The service was okay. It wasn't something I would worry about. Some stuff they did right and the rest of the stuff was okay. I might try somebody else before I go back.

It went as bad as you could ever imagine. After we moved in the middle of February, we noticed the temperature could only go up to 68 degrees maximum. I called the company for service but nobody showed up at the appointment, no cancellation notice either. I had to call for a 2nd appointment, and nobody apologized for the missed appointment either. Finally the guy showed up but he did nothing to address the problem. Also before installation I was assured that I would get $900 rebate from the energy company and  Pritchard would file all the paperwork on my behalf. However as of today no rebate ever showed up. I had to call Pritchard multiple times and was finally able to get hold of Jason. However the conversation was going nowhere as Jason was extremely rude and impatient, refused to provide me any confirmation or the energy company's contact information for the rebate. He asked me to wait for up to 2 months (from the payment date) for the rebate to show up. Then my realtor had to call in, Jason told her to wait for 6 months and he promised my realtor that he would send her the rebate paperwork confirmation. But the deadline had passed, and Jason refused to answer the call or respond the email. And he would not even bother to fix my Boiler problem as well.
In my personal experience,  Pritchard is a very lousy and horrible company and I would strongly suggest you to stay away from this terrible company.  I have no way understanding why Jason would deny providing the paperwork for the rebate and the only explanation I could come up is that Jason wants to keep that $900 rebate to his own pocket. 
 

Happy with quote and initial install. The installers were prompt and professional. They re-installed my existing humidifier and when the humidifier solenoid opens it causes loud vibrations on the furnace / duct work. They came out in the fall and blame the humidifier solenoid. Nothing changed, the noise is loud and annoying. I called nearly two weeks ago and have yet to receive a call back. It should be noted that my call in the fall was also ignored and I had to make subsequent calls to get service. Also the humidifier was not noisy when attached to the old furnace. Currently it is noisy and leaking water. I expect a 100% complete job that is worry-free. That is not what I received. Twice they have failed to respond to this problem, makes me feel like they took my money and do not stand behind their work. Disappointed.

Rusty colored water was pooling under the hot water tank, so I called Pritchard. The lady who took my call was very helpful, patiently answered all my questions (as I've never been through this before) explaining the options available to me without a hard sell, and when I mentioned I found them on Angies List she said I qualified for a discount. The installers were prompt, and very professional, answering all my questions while they worked on the old unit. They even showed me how to drain the tank and why it should be done annually. I also shared with them if they had to check the water pressure - the faucet in the laundry room sink didn't work very well...water just trickled out. To my pleasant surprise, one of the installers removed the nozzle from the sink faucet and found the blockage was a small piece of plastic (used for shipping) that had never been removed! Now the faucet works perfectly!! When the installers removed the old unit (and took it away to their truck), I saw the floor beneath it was pretty messy and I wanted to clean that area before the new tank was installed. But the installers said they would do that for me, all I needed to do was get them a few pieces of paper towel. Even when they had finished, the area looked like they had never been there. What kind gentlemen these two installers were! I would definitely recommend Pritchard Wilson Heating, Cooling & Plumbing! And I plan to use them again.

We were told that the problem was not with our furnace but was a problem with our thermostat. We have a Nest thermostat and Pritchard Wilson is an authorized technician of the Nest. No repairs were made and we were charged 79 for a service call. We contacted the Nest manufacturers and they shipped us a new one next day. When we installed the new Nest we were still having the same problems with the furnace. Pritchard Wilson claims to be available 24 hours - however we left multiple messages on their answering voicemail and never got a call back that day...not even a call back the next day. We have a 5 Month old baby in the house and can't afford to not have a heated house when it is 20 degrees outside. Working with Pritchard Wilson was disappointing and frustrating to say the least.

Install went well.  Cost was too high.

I was having a problem where some of my baseboard units were working, and some were not.  I called one company, who came out and told me there was air in the system, and it would cost $500-$600 to fix.  As my boiler is very old, they didn't recommend putting money into it, and instead quoted me on a new boiler.
Knowing my boiler is on its last legs, and wanting to get another quote for a job so large, I called Pritchard and Wilson.  Their tech came out and noticed that two valves near my boiler had been closed (probably from when I had two baseboards raised in my family room over the summer), and not reopened.  He opened them, and suddenly all my baseboards were working.  So no air in the system, and no $500-$600 repair bill. 
Their new boiler quote was comparable to what the other company gave me, but after this experience I have way more confidence in Pritchard and Wilson than in the other company.

Services went very well. They were even able to come the same day I called. That's awesome service!

There was a scheduling error, so they missed our first appointment. Pritchard Wilson was a personal recommendation from a family member. I understand that accidents happen, but we may not have tried to reschedule if they didn't come so highly recommended. I was glad we did.
Jason came out to the house and was able to identify and correct the problem quickly. He answered all of our questions, and never tried to sell us service/maintenance we didn't need.
I would recommend Pritchard Wilson.

After our furnace shut down twice on us and one service call cost $166. We called Pritchard for a furnace estimate. Jim Crain quickly responded. We had already decided to purchase a hot water tank and had Jim give us an estimate for the complete package. He has excellent knowledge of the products . He gave us a discount on the tank because it was installed at the same time the furnace was installed. He also gave us credit for the service call. Due to very cold weather installation was within two days. We were never left without heat.

The installers, Josh and Marin did an excellent job. Both were very professional and knowledgeable and answered our many questions. Cleanup was great.

We have dealt with Pritchard many times in the past and have been satisfied with the service.

One of the owners made the initial sales call  and gave us an estimate.  He was very knowledgebale and  thorough 
and answered all our questions about our 20+  year old system.  We were hesitant to "change brands" but he was able to educate us and overcome any objections we had.  We subsequently had to revise the estimate and they promptly sent the revised estimate via email and followed up with a confirming phone conversation  to answer any further questions. We scheduled the installation. They arrived on time,  finished the job the same day and cleaned up everything.  They did what they said they would do and we are very satisfied.
