They were great. They are really just wonderful people. Every good thing I heard about them was just true. They did a great job. I just got my car back a couple of days ago, and so far, the quality of their work has been excellent. They were great with their responsiveness. They were very good with their professionalism. They were really good on communicating. They called me back and ran down a list of things, gave me the price on it and everything worked out exactly like they said. I would absolutely use them again in the future. I have a vehicle ready to go down.

A few weeks prior to this visit to Mike's, I had my car in for repair of a clunking sound coming from the underside of the car. Everything at that repair appointment had gone very well (as they had at previous repair and service visits). Upon paying my bill for that repair, I mentioned to Mike that my driver's side sun visor had broken off at the plastic stem attachment and I had been keeping it from hanging in my face with large safety pins attached to the car's ceiling. Mike walked with me to my car in the parking lot to look at the problem and said he would start checking around for a replacement visor for me, if I'd like him to. Because of all of the work I had at Mike's in the past, I gladly accepted his offer of help and the very reasonable cost to do the job. Mike said he would call me when he located the part. A few days later I received a call from Mike that he had located the part and its cost. I was happy to hear that I would be able to have Mke replace my sun visor, and made an appointment for the replacement. But, due to illness, I had to cancel that appointment and reschedule another one. Unfortunately, the morning of the next scheduled appointment, a family member suffered a serious medical incident and had to be rushed to the hospital. So again, I had to re-schedule my appointment with Mike. The medical incident necessitated that I had to be out of town for over a week. Because of these two last minute cancelations, I had not rescheduled another repair appointment at Mike's. Realizing Mke had already purchased the part I needed for the repair, I decided to drop by the repair shop one morning to pay for the part and reschedule another appointment for its installation. After I arrived at Mike's, I explained to Mike why I was there and he suggested that the replacement should take just a few minutes and he would be happy to do the work right then. Although he was manning the front office alone, and regardless of the mess or grocery bags in the front rider's seat, he pulled my car over to the garage and quickly replaced the visor while my granddaughter and I waited in the front office. Mike was, as he has always been to me and other family memebers who take their vehicles to him for repair and service, very pleasant and professional, as are all of his employees. When it came to paying for the replacement, he charged me only for the cost of the visor! After all that, I remembered that my daughter had told me she thought my headlights were aimed too low, so I asked Mike if I could make an apppointment to have the headlights adjusted and he said he would just adjust them right then. Which he did for free!! Excellent service always!!

Their service was excellent. It was the first time that I used their services. The mechanic was attentive. My car is still working. There is nothing that has broken since they fixed it. The price was average and fair. I would use their services again.

Have an high mileage car, and wanted to keep it in good running condition. Took it in to get an overall check up, and Mike called and let me know what I needed now, and what he thought could wait, depending on my budget. He suggested (based on miles on my car - you need to dig far into the engine to get to actual parts, but should be redone/changed every so many miles) some additional services. I called the dealership, and they had been done recently, so they didn't have to be done. We have taken my fiance's car in to him in the past, and they were fair priced, and alerted us to some other repairs we needed (we heard the noise, but didn't take it in for that. One of the servicemen took it out for a test drive after fixing the initial problem, and called us to see what we wanted done about it). Fair price then, and we have had no complaints from that repair (about 1 year ago) either. Friendly service, kept my car in the garage over the weekend since I couldn't pick it up until Monday to keep it safe.

I purchased a high-mileage used Saturn 5 months ago. It had run extremely well and got 32 mpg in the city and 36 mpg-highway. 2 months later, while on a long trip to Florida, the car overheated in a traffic jam and the coolant just boiled off. After the trip I found the oil, which had been changed just before the trip, was EMPTY. Suddenly, the mpg dropped by over 30% and the car began to have problems starting. A month later, the coolant suddenly emptied all at once. I would fill the coolant chamber and there was NO LEAK. When I took the car on just a 10-15 minute trip, however, the coolant was empty again, when I returned. At the same time, I noted the car now often choked and occasionally stopped, if it was idling. I took the car to Mike and told him the story. He was fairly certain he new what the problem was - and even BEFORE he looked at it, he told me it was probably not going to be worth fixing. His diagnostics confirmed his thoughts. The head-gasket was blown, so coolant was spilling into the engine, diluting the gas. The water pump was spitting coolant everywhere, as well. The squeal (coming from the serpentine belt I had already replaced) was because the tensioner was bad. It had caused the belt to become glazed. Mike gave me a quote but warned me that he wouldn't recommend fixing the head gasket. The car had too many miles on it and there was no telling how many times it had over-heated due to the oil and coolant problems. He explained Saturns are also notorious for burning oil. He warned me that once he began to work on the head gasket, it was very possibly he'd find a crack in the engine, itself, which would necessitate replacing the entire engine. He actually TALKED ME OUT OF USING HIS REPAIR SERVICES! He said that "in these high-mileage cars, if it works out, you're happy and I'm happy. If it doesn't," which he felt was likely, "You'll be upset with me." Instead, he explained to me how to utilize his services to get a car inspected BEFORE I buy. He explained how it's done and specifically how his pre-purchase inspections (for which he only charges 1 hour of labor) can save me from buying a clunker or getting a bad deal. Moreover, he explained how his findings can be used to force dealers to fix things before I buy or force them to reduce their price. This advice, alone, was worth several times the $35 fee I paid him for the visit. His low-pressure approach and honesty were refreshing. He was unrushed and really took his time talking with me (I know nothing about cars). I will definitely be using his services and have already recommended him to my son.

It is a family run business. Mike is very honest and he always tells me about things right away. A couple of years ago there was a loud squealing noise so I took my vehicle in. He explained that it was my air conditioning and he went over exactly what was happening. He told me that it was an eight hundred dollar repair, but that for the time being it was unnecessary.

They are very trustworthy and honest. They always do a good job and if something happens were it isn't right, they stand behind their work and make it right. The workers are very friendly and professional. We will continue to take our cars here for future service. We would definitely recommend them to others.

Due to his uncompromising honesty and super work ethics, we have recommended his business to all of our friends and anyone we happen to meet who is looking for a reputable auto service facility. Mike's uses only top of the line parts, usually from NAPA, so there is no fear of replacing the same part a short while later as is encountered when using parts that typically originate in China. I make my living on the road and really appreciate their efforts to get my vehicle in nearing the end of a busy workday so that I may have it for the next days work.
