Description of Work: They packed up a truck & moved us from house to apartment. |The two guys arrived wearing clean company shirts, which I appreciated because that indicated to me they like their jobs and care about doing a good job with our things. |They both were careful moving our large couch up a cramped stairway so as not to damage anything. They took the same care with all of our things and paid attention to the "fragile" and "keep upright" signs on boxes. All in all, they moved our things as if they were moving their own. |They were mindful of staying within the estimated time frame, but didn't cut any corners to do it. I will recommend Kingsley Moving Systems to everyone looking for good workers and a more-than-fair price. |

Description of Work: Kingsley Moving contracted to due limited packing and move from Utica, Mi. to our new home in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan. Mileage 325 miles 7hours labour day leaving Utica/ 6 hours labour on date of delivery. Weight moved 7.93 M pounds The two men assigned to the move Tim and Rob were thorough, professional and after unpacking we still have yet to see even the slighest problem...no scratches, no breakage...just care and great service. This company is based in Lansing cmne to Utica for pick up..how is that for service. the owner of the company Brian Kingsley snd his office manager can be proud of their employees. we recommend Kingsley to move your posessions anywhere in Michigan.Thank you guys....oh by the way their final price was more than 2,000 dollars less, than the national mover we had contacted...Bill and Carol

Description of Work: Moved a very full 10x10 storage unit filled with boxes (mostly books, but also many pictures, some furniture, toys, ornaments, some clothing, carpets) from Michigan to Pennsylvania. Very smooth process all round, from initial estimate and a couple of q&a emails with the owner while deciding on a mover to the actual move day itself. Originally the movers expected to unload on the following morning, but they reached the destination by 5 pm and decided to unload the same day, which was excellent efficiency and service. The recipient of the goods (a family member but not myself) said that everything arrived in very good shape.

+ -1 moreThe 2 movers called the morning of the move right before they left the office to say they were on the way, they arrived in a short period of time after that around 8: 30 am. They loaded the truck pretty quickly, we arrived at the new house and they unloaded the truck within an hour and half and the whole move only took approximately 4 hours. The 2 men were very nice and worked fast and carefully. They placed everything where I asked them to and even kept the basement items separated from the upstairs things so they new those certain items automatically went to the basement. Since they worked much faster than the stated estimate the cost was also lower and you pay them when they finish, not up front like some other local moving companies . (Tipping is optional, which I did since they did such a great job) I highly recommend Kingsley Moving Systems to everyone as they have much cheaper rates and also I had a $35.00 off coupon from my real estate agent, but even without that they are still way cheaper than the other full service moving companies in the area.

+ -1 moreI don’t remember the price charged by them, but it was very competitive. They were not the cheapest, but they were right in there. At that time, my son’s family was with me. So, his family had 4 people including 2 small children. When they were unloading things from my former house, they would move something and put it in the truck. Then when they went back to get the next thing, they ran. They didn’t waste a moment. They worked every moment and they ran to get the next item. I have never seen anyone like that before. They were very careful and respectful. They didn’t break anything and not even the smallest thing, which was astounding. They didn’t damage or scratch anything. They were very polite and they were fast. They worked very efficiently. There was no wasted motion. Brian Kingsley, the owner of the company was very good to work with. He was extraordinary. I had sold the house and I was at the end of time. So, I had to get out of the house. I had an extremely small window, but Brian Kingsley worked with me very well. When I first contacted him, he told me what time slots he had available. I asked him if he could call me if he got another customer coming along that time slot because I had contacted him first; so he did that for me. He was very willing to work with me. He told me that if I contract them and if I didn’t close on the house, then he would charge me for reserving the truck and turning down other work to be available for me. He was very good at working with me. I would definitely use their services in the future too. They are a small company and not a big national moving company. They appreciated the business and they showed me that they appreciated my business by how they worked. I made sure to give them a nice tip at the end of the day since they absolutely earned it.
Description of Work: I used the services of Kingsley Moving Systems LLC about a year ago for moving. It was only a one-mile move. They moved me from a two story 4 bedroom colonial home to a 6000 square foot ranch home with anywhere between 5 and 7 bedrooms.
