It went very well, they got the job done with little to no cutting holes in the drywall. Which was gratifying to see done as a competitor was going tear the whole wall out to do the same job at twice the cost. Very very happy with the team at Lake Orion Heating and Plumbing!

It went great. The technician was on time and very thorough and patient.

Everything but the price was great. I think they should of got it done in one day and they had to come back, but the guy had a bad back and he had to go to the chiropractor, so I understand that too.

Originally I wanted a leaking valve replaced with a better valve. Problem was that it was in the ceiling and was hard to access. Basically resweated the pipe and fixed the leak. I'm OK with that. However, in my mind, resweating a pipe should be AT MOST a $25 charge (and even that is insane). Also wife asked for a "furnace checkup". Furnace check up basically consisted of turning the furnacen on, looking at the flame and saying, "looks good". I watched the whole thing. Somehow the resweat and furnace checkup ended up costing $250. Lesson learned: do your own repairs.

Great. The technician was very professional and helpful. My furnace is 20 years old and I half expected him to suggest that a new one would be a good idea. However he cleaned it thoroughly, checked it all out with instruments, took it apart and lubricated everything and said it should last a few more years yet. It hasn't run so well in years. Very happy with Lake Orion Plumbing and Heating.

Leamon was very knowledgeable and friendly. He did the rough in and came back after drywall and flooring work was done and did the final install. He was very careful to make sure he met our needs to have minimal pipe showing, and what did show was chromed. Pricing for the total job was very fair.

excellent Howard with Lake Orion Plumbing is one of the most professional men I have ever met.. From arriving sooner than expected, same day, one phone call and thenspent hours , literally hours figuring out the issue - some water that had backed up.. 28F outside, stood with me in the yard, both of us with flashlights, and marked an 'X' with an orange spray marker and said 'heres the problem; I looked at him- still remeber it was 3am, (yes 3 AM) and temp was below freezing -- and I said 'Howard, how would you know that?', He said 'here is the problem'.. sure enough came in with an exacavator- we dug 9 feet deep and about 12 feet wide, and yes 'there was the problem' one clean out cap had cracked and roots from a tree across the driveway, went down into it, turned into the pipe coming from the house and clogged it.. WOW.. I was speechless.. How he knew it, at 3am, is just amazing.. It was repaired, clean outs checked.. all done.. whole thing took a couple days, but boy what an experience.. Howard and his son, since then are my friends, not just professionals who provide the best quality work I have seen in a long, long time.... I reccomend these professionals for any house, any plumbing issue.. anytime, anywhere.. A++++++

Outstanding service. We awoke to a foul smell in the house. Turns out the previous Home Depot Sump Pump had failed. Lake Orion Plumbing came to the house 1 1/2 hours after we called. They did a thorough inspection and replaced the sump pump with and higher quality one. We will return the previous one we bought to Home Depot. Everyone we dealt with was professional and we got a 5% discount for Angie's List.

Technician was prompt, friendly, and performed duties well. Technician explained work before beginning job and completed tasks as detailed. Cleaned up and tested system before completion. Job well done.

It took them an while to get the estimate back to me. Other than that, they were pleasant to talk to but we did the work ourselves.

The furnace tune up really didn't consist of anything other than looking at the flame, doing some minor vacuuming and that's it. I thought there would be more to it such as full electrical analysis of the circuits, testing exhaust pressures, running diagnostics, testing fan motor, testing for carbon monoxide leaks, etc. It was just, "flame looks good" and a little vacuuming. I could have done that myself. For the valve replacement, the valve was too difficult to access up in the basement ceiling since we have finished ceiling. He basically resweated the pipe to reseal the leaky valve. Again, I could have done that myself. The cost of furnace tune up and resweating a pipe was around $300. It was eye-opening for me since I've never had to call a plumber. For that cost, I will only call a plumber if my water main breaks and I need an excavator to turn off the main in front of my house.

Not a good experience. "Technician" found weak dual capacitor on compressor unit. I OK'd replacement but he didn't have the exact part. Was charged hefty extra labor for a 20 second walk to his truck and back along with an inflated price for the capacitor. I don't recall the specifics but something like 1/2 hour. Like others in this business, the maintenance service call is an excuse to find something wrong and stick it to you. These "technicians" are not rocket scientists and hardly deserve the hourly rate charged to customers. Of course, they don't see it, the boss-man does. Additionally, he only looked at the outside compressor and was never inside to see what is on the other end.

The technician was prompt on coming to install the new hot water heater and then coming a couple days later to install a new furnace. The work was done within the timeframe stated. The technician was very professional and friendly. He showed us how to set things with both items and helped us understand the functioning of the new furnace as it was at a higher energy conservation level. Since this has all been completed, our heating bills have dropped drastically and the house actually stays warmer consistently. I would like to thank all those involved with Lake Orion Plumbing and Heating for their work.

No charge even though the plumber was here for at least 2 hours trying to unfreeze the drain.
