ROYAL LAWN SVC

Killed my lawn in one double application. Do not trust these clowns. David and Marnie are crooks. They will kill your lawn and tell you that you have a fungus and then charge you to treat your lawn again. They also take FAKE SOIL SAMPLES. They lie and say they took samples but 3 ADP video cameras say otherwise.

Just got off the phone with Gabe, threatening to turn me over to collections for work they never did. I originally contacted them about services and they quoted me a price. A week or two later, I called, left them a message that I wanted to talk more about my needs and to call me. They sent a tech the next day (never called back), but I didn't have him do anything as we were just over-seeding ourselves and doing some other things (that's why I wanted to talk to someone before any work was done). A week later (still never a call) I receive a confirmation (contract) email with the services and the prices, but they are higher than what we discussed. Within 30 minutes, I respond that this is different than what was discussed. I never got an email response or a call back until a collection call from them. So Gabe finally reaches me, I explain that services were never performed. He insists that his records show otherwise and says he'll take me to collections. I push for more details and he does find notes about not doing the service, next he tries do find the paperwork from the tech that is usually left with the customer. He can't find the finished service records. He finally tells me he will "write it off". You write off a bad debt when a client does not pay. You remove the charges and correct the billing when the service was not performed. I am so fuming mad at the disrespectful, unprofessional, threatening, actions of Gabe that I had to share my thoughts. Honestly, I hate taking the time or the energy to post a bad review unless someone goes out of their way to be unprofessional or really does a bad job. I wasn't unhappy enough with them before the call to post a negative review. I realize some things aren't meant to be and just let it go. Gabe, you took an unpleasant situation to a new level of customer dissatisfaction. Too bad you can't put 0 stars.

I did receive the estimate and did not feel his price was good. No where did it state that they were going to assume starting service. I came home from work and found that they had did a full application and left me a 57.00 bill. I called immediately and left a message that I did NOT ask for this service. He was supplying me an estimate and that was all it was suppose to be. I have called twice to make sure he did receive my call and will NOT come back to do another application. I have not received a call back at this time.,

We have been using Royal at our property for many years, but I have only been here just over a year. In the 22 years that I have been in Property Management, I have seen many lawn and snow removal companies that do not deliver on what they promise and are not worth the money you pay for them. Since I have been using Royal, they have not let me down once, they go above and beyond for us. Every single one of the workers that I have come in contact with has treated me with much respect. Royal delivers quality service all the way from the owners to the workers. If you need something from them, they are very quick to respond to your needs. They even donated candy to our Halloween parade this past year. If you are looking for a good company to do really good work, Call Royal!!
