Description of Work: 1. Trimmed an oak tree next to and overhanging the house; painted all cuts to prevent oak wilt. After trimming the oak one of the men used a blower to clear the roof of all debris and saw chips. |2. Removed a large willow tree at the water's edge, cutting it down close to the ground, and returning to grind it below grade. Removed all debris, ground all limbs under 14 inches and deposited the chips in my driveway at my request. Removed all large pieces of wood that were not grindable. | |They had a fairly large crew, I think around 6 - 8 men, who arrived at 8:30 in the morning. The men got right to work after confirming with me what the job entailed. They obviously knew what they were doing, as they worked together, communicating what was going to happen, how they were going to do things, and making sure each other was safe in the process. It took the men just under 4 hours to complete the job, including cleaning up my yard to my satisfaction, including one of the men getting into a kayak and retrieving debris that had fallen into the water. | |I will almost definitely hire The Michigan Property Network to help with other trees in the future. Paul was here exactly when scheduled for the assessment and quote, and then walked around the job site with me to make sure everything was to my satisfaction prior to receiving the check. He also gave me a price that was considerably less than the other companies I had bid the job. I went with him not just for the price but for how he explained how his crew would do the job. They did it just as he explained.

+ -1 morePaul's team arrived on time as scheduled. Their equipment was properly sized and in excellent working condition.Their team worked in a very coordinated and efficient manner. Care was taken on control of the cut limbs, no damage to my house or the neighbors. I had a local charity on site to salvage the firewood. Paul's team was kind enough to load the cut limbs into the trailers of the charity volunteers, at no additional cost. They also cut up the main tree trunk for the charity and loaded onto their trailers at no additional cost. Clean up was very good. The stump grinding was completed the next day and stump grindings removed over the next couple days. I was very pleased with their extras and all was very professionally handled. Stump grinding contracted to Bill's Stump Pros....Bill also did an excellent job.
Description of Work: Large tree removal, stump grind and removal of stump grindings. Tree very close to my house and to both neighbors homes. Access to tree difficult. Paul's and his team leader quoted promptly. Their quoted price was not the lowest but included plywood coverage of my lawn and added some additional work (shrub removal) at a very low additional cost. They fully explained the whole process and answered all my questions.

+ -1 moreI liked the service; the guy came out the same day I called and gave me a very good price. They came when they said they were going to come, were quick and cut up the trees and took everything with them. The stump guy came and removed the stumps about two days later and I did not have any issues at all. I thought the price was really good and they were right on time. The guys who were doing the job were very professional.
Description of Work: I used The Michigan Property Network to take down several trees and remove some brush.
