Tongue and Groove deck bards were special ordered. The boards were shipped and unpacked over the weekend (shipment came in early in the week). 20% of the boards ordered were in questionable condition (strap marks, chipped board face, splintering, and mold/mildew). When asked if they could be returned due to the poor quality they stated that their supplier will not take the boards back. Iverson?s, despite agreeing that the boards were in poor shape did nothing. Iverson's does not stand by their product. I am not a fan of big box stores but situations like this demonstrate why the local lumber yard is not able to survive. Customer service is not there. UPDATE: I was able to talk with the store manager, who took time to listen and understand my concerns. His response was both appropriate and prompt. The boards were sent back to Iverson?s and they sanded and cleaned. I cannot ask anything more of them. I updated the rating based on the service provided and will continue working with this company.
