William McQuade

I first saw Mr McQuade on Angies List. We were looking for window washing firms. Mr McQuade came to our home and after looking our windows gave us an estimate. After looking at all the positive reviews, we decided to use his service rather than getting a lot of sometimes confusing estimates. He gave us several dates for the work to be done. He came on the date we had chosen and the time we mutually agreed on. I remarked how good it felt to have all of his clients give positive remarks. He started on the side of our house that we selected. He finished the job in under four hours. His work was really good. He pointed out some paint issues around the house. I asked if he could repair them. He said sure, but, you should get a professional painter. I am a professional window cleaner. we thanked him for his honesty. He was very careful in and out of the house. We will certainly be future customers when the windows need cleaning. .

He came in a timely manner. His price was fair. In fact, I increased his workload and he got it all done the same day. He had to take out storm windows and put them back in. The cleaning was excellent. I would use him again in the future too.

They did a great job cleaning my windows. They were fast and thorough and he was a really nice man. I would recommend them!

He was prompt. He stuck to his estimate. The windows sparkled after he finished cleaning them.

The windows on my house have only been cleaned using a hose/Windex type of approach previously, and I can certainly tell the difference! Great price, great work!

I never thought that cleaning window will take that long but he spent over 3 hours at our house to clean all windows and sliding door. They are all sparkling clean after he cleaned them. I can tell that he takes a lot of pride in his work and he cares a lot about our satisfaction. He knocked down the original estimated price that he gave us because the window gutters had a lot of nooks and cranny that were very difficult to clean.

He is very good at his job. He is very personable. He has a good attitude towards his work. He is a delightful window washer. I don't know what stuff he used for cleaning, but my windows are still clean after the rain also. He is the better window washer than any one I had used in the past. If there is a need, I would use him again in the future too.

He came on a separate occasion to provide a quote, then arrived promptly on the arranged date. It took him about three hours to complete the task. He did an excellent job, was very professional, and I intend to call on him again, probably annually.

The quality of his work was excellent -- our windows gleamed when he had finished. He was extremely courteous and took great care when moving objects to gain access to the windows. I would recommend his service without hesitation.

We had a great experience with William. He gave a fair estimate, arrived and completed the job as planned, was meticulous, tidy, and even had a separate pair of shoes for inside vs. outside. We will definitely call him again.

Best $700 I have spent on my house in a long time. My windows were filthy. My old MK windows were stuck. My storm windows would not come off. My 37 storm windows had to be removed with a screw drill. My 37 windows were so much of a B*%#and that another "A" rated window company on The List told me he would charge $750 just to remove the storms. The other company said he turned down my work because he did not think he could make me happy and get me sparkling clean. After the weakling, I talked to a "winner". In addition to 37 old windows throughout the main house, William cleaned nine sets of french windows in my sunroom (inside and out) too. If I tried it would take me a year to do what this man did in 1.5 days. Plus he did it better than I could do on my best day. William lives in Meridian Kessler, my neighborhood, and he knows our houses. He took the job and gave me a fair $700 quote to remove all my storms and clean inside and out when other companies could not figure out how to show up for two weeks to give me their lower (lame) quote. I hired the right guy. William is more of a sparkling clean perfectionist than I am. There was this one storm window cemented on my house that no one could get unstuck. William got it off (after two days of trying) and that is why I think everyone in Meridian Kessler should hire him above all others. Trust me. William McQuade is pickier and more exacting than you are. He is worth the little bit more cause he is stress free and gets the work done quickly and efficiently to meet your standards. Plus, you can trust this man if he is alone in your house all day. I know because something very valuable of mine he left untouched. :) Um...did I say what a high it is to have sparkling clean windows inside and out? It is better than any drug if you are a homeowner in MK. Hire William this Spring. You deserve sparkling windows no matter how impossible your project is. And if you want to hear a perfect Scottish accent, well that is just a plus to the whole fabulous experience of hiring William!

William responded very quickly with an estimate and scheduled service within two weeks. He asked a few questions to make sure he was prepared. He arrived on time, described the process very clearly and handled himself professionally. The outside of some windows were very soiled and difficult to get clean. He worked very hard and managed expectations along the way. After all his hard work, William was not satisfied with the end result so he insisted on lowering the price. I will definitely have him back in the spring to take another crack at getting the difficult windows clean.

William came out to provide an estimate about three weeks before the service was performed. He provided a cost for services (Angies List discount applied). We arranged an appointment since I would have to take a half day off work to be at the house. He arrive on time (to the minute) and spent 4 hours cleaning both interior (first from the top of the house) and exterior. These were pretty difficult windows to clean with some architectural designed features and some at least three levels up and sky lights on the roof. The result is fantastic. He even cleaned a couple of large mirrors without charge. I intend to have him come to do the gutters after all the leaves have dropped and intend to use and recommend his services to others. Exemplary service and result. Now I know why he has an all A rating.

After reading all of the excellent reviews of his work on Angie's List, I gave him a call. William arrived later that day, gave me a fair quote, and we set up a cleaning day the next week. He arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently all day. I have recommended him to neighbors and family and will definitely hire him again. Nice guy.

What a wonderful experience! William came by our house, called back that same day with a quote, scheduled the work and completed the work all within just a few days. Our windows look wonderful! We will definitely use him again.

Mr. McQuade is a real professional from start to finish. He made sure he understood exactly what we needed completed and then went right to work. We were in a time crunch and he fit us into his schedule! He is very professional and efficient.

Mr. McQuade came out to my house and provided a free estimate several days before he performed the work, and he stuck to that estimate in spite of the job taking an hour or so longer than anticipated. He was personable and professional, did all the work himself. The day of the job was the hottest day of the year so far, yet Mr. McQuade arrived promptly at 7 a.m. and worked straight through lunch until about 3 p.m. At first I thought the estimate was rather expensive, compared with prices I'd heard about through friends who've had their windows cleaned recently, but now I'm convinced it was worth it. He does all work by hand, is very friendly and courteous, overall a very positive experience. I plan to hire him annually to clean my windows. They look amazing.

I had read very positive reviews on Angie's List and felt very comfortable having the work done while I was not home. I will definitely have him back again.

I must confess that I have not cleaned my windows in some time; so, he had quite a challenge. The windows seemed to disappear after cleaning. No streaks, etc. We made an appointment for October to clean them again. Amazing how clean windows can add to the ambiance!

Awesome job. We cannot get over how great they look. They are old windows, not easy to get inside but he did every one. The one other estimate we got was way more. His was quite reasonable. We had to trust him to be here on his own, lock up, etc., and hadn't any worries.

He called back within a day and was available to do the work on a day that was convenient for me. He did a superior job on windows that had not been washed for a very long time. I will definitely call him again and only wish that he provided other home services (although he also cleans gutters), as he is punctual, pleasant, and fair in price. He is a complete professional and takes pride in his work.

This is the way to go for window cleaning. Mr. McQuade is the most skilled window washer I have every used. The whole process was minimum hassle from start to finish. He gave me a verbal estimate over the phone by pulling up a Google Earth photo of my home and having me describe the windows not visible in the photo. That saved my having to meet someone for an estimate. He was able to schedule the work for a time at my convenience in less than a week. Even though it was raining at the schedule time, he showed up right on time and worked in the rain until it stopped. He was pleasant, professional, meticulous in his work, and careful of my home and furnishings. Some of my windows are 2nd story in an area where the ground is sloped, so that it is difficult to stabilize a ladder. He skillfully worked around that problem with no complaint. There is one large picture window in my home that is comprised of two frames, one mounted inside the other with two panes of glass about 4" apart (not sealed thermopane) with an air space between them. As a result of painting, one frame was tightly stuck within the other. He put in a lot of extra effort to get the frames apart and wash the inside surfaces. His price was very reasonable. It was was about 15% less than I paid another service for doing the same window cleaning three years ago, in spite of the fact that labor prices in general have risen. I couldn't be more pleased with the work done.
