I had scheduled an appointment to have minor electric work done at our home 3 weeks in advance. When the economy is good, trades tend to be booked far out in advance, hence the reason I scheduled early. The day of my appointment, I receive a call (5 minutes after the scheduled time) canceling my appointment. "Someone called in sick." We rescheduled for two days later (which is today). Once again, I receive a call literally 5 minutes after the scheduled time canceling again! Needless to day, this time I am frustrated. Not only did these folks not offer to reschedule, they bailed all together. I was very kind on the phone and understand people call in sick the first time. The second time with the exact same excuse was just simply odd. Bottom Line: I have seen a few 5 star reviews of Mr. Electric in Grand Haven. This was the reason I had called them in the first place. This is Not a 5-Star establishment by any stretch. I would pick a different Electrician before setting an appointment.
