The next day they came around 9:30 am to remove the old furnace. After 12:00, they brought in and installed the new furnace. Everything was up and running by around 2:30pm. The owner, Dan Fralick, told me about a Consumer's Energy rebate on the unit ($350) which was a welcome surprise. He indicated that he would complete the paperwork and then drop it off for us to sign and mail. We did run into an issue the following morning. The furnace seemed to be taking too long to kick in after the thermostat temperature was increased. They came out later that day and double checked the installation to insure that everything was according to specifications. It turned out that the issue was the outside air intake (for combustion) was blocked off by a bush / spider webs. They also modified the angle of the piping. It's been a few days now since installation and the furnace is operating fine. The online reviews of the furnace Amana AMH95 seem pretty decent and it includes a lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger. Overall, an excellent experience.
