Cregger Plumbing, Heating & Cooling

Though we discovered bad news, Cregger was incredible helpful and positive when presenting us with the results and our options. We plan to use them again going forward with this issue!

Needed a new wax ring. It was a bit expensive but going through Angie’s list saved me $80. So I paid $170 to get a wax ring replaced.

I was called Monday morning after clicking on coupon. Was able to make appt. at that time. I got a call Wed. morning letting me know plumber was on the way. My dog liked David right away. (good sign) He turned off the water and got to work. He showed me the wrong part that had been installed and the part that should been used/come in the same package as the faucet. David has excellent communication skills and was very easy to talk to. He put the faucet back together using the correct part. Again he showed me the sink faucet and explained why he wasn't able to securely tighten it down. I could see that due to the thick counter top the treading wasn't long enough to allow the bolt to be screwed on completely. He made an adjustment so the bolt could be screwed on a few more times. I called the business that I purchased the hardware from and was told Delta had a kit for just that issue. The plumber who installed it originally never mentioned the problem. I'm so glad David told me about it.

Dave and Jeffrey were very professional. They quickly solved my problem and advised me that my water heater would soon need replacement. I was completely satisfied with the service and the price. The Angie's List coupon also helped.

This is the second time I've hired Cregger's for a plumbing job for my elderly aunt. There was an issue with our appointment; whomever was supposed to schedule it must have not entered it properly in their system. When I called to make sure my Angie's List coupon would be honored, it took 10 minutes for receptionist to find out who scheduled the appointment. On the scheduled day, the plumber did not arrive at 9am as expected. When calling about the delay, we were told "no appointment is scheduled for you." Fortunately, this staff member has kind enough to add us to the schedule later that day. All that aside, the plumber was professional, knowledgeable and fixed the problem appropriately. The quality of his work was equivalent to that of our first experience with Cregger's. I will most likely use this company for future plumbing problems because of the quality of their work, and hope to have a better experience with their staff when scheduling an appointment.

Fine. Cregger's had repaired same faucet earlier in the year. They repaired it again this time at no charge since it was under warranty. They suggested that we not turn off faucet so tightly since that may have caused the washer to become damaged. We have since complied with no problems whatsoever.

The technician gave me a very detail explanation for problem diagnosis. His suggestion was very reasonable and easy to understand even though for a person like me who doesn't know anything about furnace. He checked all potential problems and fixed them, so my heating system is running normally now. I felt I was treated like a family. I am very confident to recommend anyone who needs service for plumbing and heating system. Cregger is the company that I trust without doubt.

Went well! David S. tracked down the cartridge and installed it efficiently. It was a difficult job due to the unusual shape of the cartridge and its uncommon shape. No mess was left and the job was done quietly. David good with my 2 energetic dogs. While he was there, he cleaned the shower head which was somewhat clogged, and did not charge extra. Now I have much better water pressure!

James and Shane were great for faucet installs this time around. We'll be seeing them again soon for more work on this old house

Cregger was professional & super nice from start to finish of the work we needed done. From phone calls to set up appointments, the multiple employees doing both projects to a follow up call if we were happy with the job that was done. Everyone was friendly and took the time in explaining what was being done from step A to step Z. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Initially slow to respond to identified problems, but once the owner became involved the work and price were first class. Kevin, David and Brandon were professional and did great job.

The first person did not fix water leak because he could not hear it. The leak could still be heard after the plumber left my home. Water shut off valve was still difficult to turn off. I talked to receptionist and she sent another plumber and all was corrected. I can not hear water leaking from the downstairs toilet tank any more and can now use my turnoff valve easily. Thank you for listening to me and responding quickly to my concerns.

He had a lot of trouble removing old faucet, took most of his time and not his fault. He did a good job, didn't damage anything. The new faucet looks and works great. Very pleased with workmanship of Kevin. Pleased with price and discount from Angie's List. I would definitely use this company again and I would ask for Kevin.

Everything went very well. David was timely, efficient and very professional, would definitely hire Cregg again.

Updated: Cregger Plumbing was exceptionally responsive to my issues once they received my review on Angie's List and went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied. Everything was remedied in a timely fashion, and the company did indeed call first thing Monday morning as Derek said they would. I suspect that our issues with responsiveness were an isolated incident based on the response received now. James couldn't have been a better service person, and we will definitely be requesting him when we call for our next plumbing job in a few months. The first plumber who came out was prompt and nice. He told us he identified the leak and completed part of the repair and said he fixed the toilet, but stated that he had been doing kitchen plumbing jobs the rest of the day so he didn't have the other parts he needed and we needed to make another appointment. So I called the next day and made the appointment. The plumbers who came to do that part of the job were prompt and nice, but we weren't totally happy with the install (the area was not properly prepped). Cregger was very responsive and, after sending in photographs, they sent another plumber out to fix the problems. He was very nice and did a good job, but identified another part that needed to be replaced. I have now called twice to get that resolved, and both times I was told someone would call me back, and I have not yet received a return phone call. The toilet is still not completely fixed, as it still is difficult to flush despite the fact that we were told that it would work normally after a few uses. Also? The leak which we were told was fixed is NOT fixed and has caused ceiling damage to our living room after we paid substantial amounts of money to have the plaster in that room repaired and painted based on the plumbers telling us that the leak was fixed. I will call again on Monday, but I am not holding my breath at this point.
