They were very professional, knowledgeable, and the deal was a good value. The man was on time and cleaned up everything.

Service man called before scheduled arrival to say he was on the way . Arrived on time . Examined the problem , diagnosed the problem & had the parts needed for replacement to stop the leak . He was competent , polite & efficient . Job done in record time with NO further leaks noted !

The service charge was built into the $200 credit, so it wasn’t $200 worth of actual labor-the 200 covered the service call, parts and labor.

Cregger's did call a half hour before the plumber showed up. When I started to tell him the things that I needed to have done on just the items I listed above he gave me an estimate of over four hundred dollars. I nearly had a heart attack, I'm on SS disability and none of my repairs were major in my eyes. Plus, I had taken pictures of everything I needed and went to Lowe's and purchased the supplies. Maybe that was the problem, maybe he wanted to supply everything to me raising my cost even further. I was hoping to have my toilet snaked because it often backs up but I was afraid to ask. I also had another shower head to be replace in my basement powder room and I didn't have that done either. I read reviews before I bought the package and they said how good they were about cleaning up. Does that mean they toss the trash in the sink just because I bought it? After he left, my friend installed the same shower head in my basement powder room in less than ten minutes. And also disposed of the trash! Am I happy. Well, I no longer have a leak. But I bought into Angie's List for the sole purpose of finding a plumber who was reasonable. I won't make this mistake again. My money is to tight as it is.

They were excellent. They replacement my sub pump. The Big Deal they were offering was very timely and helped in the overall cost. They were timely and did a very good and professional job.

He told me there was nothing to do unless he replaced the whole unit AND the catch under the tub that would have cost $500. I did not need to replace any of that. Now the drain he looked at is leaking. The office had told me they were going to check with the more experienced plumbers and see if they knew how to fix it. I never heard back from them.

The drains backed up and we had to call an emergency repair. Creggers was very responsive and timely, and performed the work of clearing our pipes/drains in a professional and thorough manner, despite the mess in our house. I would definitely recommend this company to our friends for any plumbing they needed in their homes.

Terrible. UPDATE: They came out and in less than 15 minutes had the problem fixed.

I scheduled this service to take care of a major leak from the kitchen sink/dishwasher area into the basement. Also, they installed two new valves on water pipes leading to clothes washer. The valve installation was satisfactory, however, they completely misdiagnosed the water leak problem and informed me that it was the drain from the dishwasher that was defective and that I needed a new dishwasher. Based on this diagnosis, I replaced the dishwasher and the leak continued to grow worse day by day. I called another plumber and he correctly diagnosed the problem as a corroded drain from the kitchen sink leading to the drain stack. He replaced the corroded pipe and the problem was solved. A VERY EXPENSIVE lesson for me.

Replaced a hot water tank, and hauled away defective unit

I called around a few places and Cregger was the only one that was able to get out today. They showed up a few hours later and attempted to snake the drain and the clean out pipe, didn't get the drain. Had to go back for additional equipment, came back a few hours later and finished the job. Despite the extra effort, still charged the lower end of the quoted price. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely use them for future needs.

It went well. The plumber got the disposal to work and thought he would not have to replace it with the new one.There was a leak and he discovered a crack in the disposal. He replaced the disposal and had to re-run a pipe because the new disposal was made differently from the old one. He also snaked out a drain in the bath tub. It went well. I was pleased that he did not just jump straight to replacing the disposal even though I had already purchased the new one. I was very satisfied with the service.1

Everything was great. Service took about 2 hours to complete, and afterwards was cleaned up and put back exactly as it was. Old PVC cover was replaced with a new one, and everything was fine.

It went very well. Provider was considerate, respectful, and easy to deal with. While here, I asked about sump pump replacement. Provider had one on the truck and replaced my sump during the same visit. I was very pleased and trusting of this provider and would use them again if needed.

Great. I was very please with everything: 1. Called Cregger on Thursday. They made appointment for the next day 2. Office called to let me know the day of appointment that plumber was on the way. 3. Kevin was on time, very polite, efficient and knowledgeable. 4. Kevin save me money, as I can return the toilet parts that I purchased and get back $40.00 5. I will use Cregger again.

It turned out good. We showed them what needed fixed and they fixed it. It was pretty basic. The technician that came out was very knowledgeable and provided advice and alternatives. It turned out well. I paid an additional amount for additional services.

It took two appointments, and a second technician to completely fix the problems. He was very knowledgable, respectful, and good at his job. He didn't mind me asking questions about the problems and the fixes, and explained exactly what he was doing and why. I am a satisfied customer and would use their service again.

Erin Harland was the technician and he was very courteous and prompt. When I called to schedule they really worked with me to accommodate my schedule.

The team that came out were polite, efficient and cleaned up well after themselves. Would hire again and refer to family and friends.

The technician showed up promptly as scheduled but could not do the requested service due to faulty equipment. I had wanted a camera inspection of the sewer but his camera was broken. The tech was very courteous and apologetic. Since I live very far away, I could not reschedule.

Saw their prominent ad here and called for repair of a bad hot water faucet... they couldn't respond for four days. Did not hire and will not. Found another highly rated plumber who will be here this afternoon.

Unsatisfied with very vague offer. This offer was overpriced in the first place.

Outstanding. Chris was more than outstanding. He did what I requested and them more. I will use Chris again. This Angie's "Big Deal" was more than worth the price.

First, I want to express how pleased we are with the level of expertise, providing truly professional guidance on how to manage the ceiling leak. It started on an average Sunday, with water pooling around our kitchen lighting fixture. After finding them on Angie's List, we called for an emergency visit. After an initial drain, the leak stopped and when the plumber on call checked in with us, agreed that we could hold off until normal business hours. (Note: This is in contrast to another plumber we had called, who called after Cregger and started immediately talking about the need to break through walls.) We agreed that the office staff would then follow up with me the next day to schedule a time for a plumber to assess the leak. At the start of business Monday morning, we promptly received that call and quickly scheduled an appointment given our schedule. Which leads to today...wow! We received a call when the plumber was on his way and he arrived shortly after that. He introduced himself at the door and listened to what happened. When he went upstairs to check on potential sources, he didn't make work for himself but rather highlighted simple and straightforward problems that were likely the cause of the problem we experienced on the Sunday. He provided a thoughtful rationale for why he thought these may be the problem and provided guidance on how to resolve. I respect this professionalism at a time when it feels like everyone is trying to sell you something you don't really need. As we were wrapping up and outlining next steps, he mentioned that there was no charge for today's visit. Amazing! Without question, we will be calling Cregger for all future work we need and highly recommend them to others.
