These guys are champions. Super fast, affordable, with really polite and thoughtful technicians. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Plus they do business in the city of Detroit, and believe me, not every company is conscientious enough to do so. Great work.

Cleaned main drain of roots having first inspected system for alternative causes. Also usedcamera to show before and after and locator to establish problem point in the system for potential longer term fix if issue re occured with a rough estimate of potential cost for future work to allow planning and thought

Before the job: Responsive professional people answering the phone and scheduling the job. Scheduled the estimate to be done quickly The person arrived right on time, was professional and provided a written estimate on the spot. The work: Professional well mannered workers who go the job done right. Put down drop cloths to protect floor to the master bath. Cleaned up after the job was done. I am ready for the finish contractor right on schedule. Would highly recommend these guys... Best experience with trades workers I have had.

The drain pipe carrying water from my kitchen sink/dishwasher right where it goes into the wall was corroded open, causing leaking into the basement. I called Cregger Plumbing and Sewer at 8:30am in the morning, shortly after I noticed the issue. Though they said they didn't have any regular appointments open, they did mention I could be put on an 'emergency list'. They basically said that I would get service today, but they wouldn't be able to give me but 30 minutes notice. I needed to go that route as I was currently home but wouldn't be able to take another day off of work. Given the situation, I didn't expect a call in the morning. I did receive a call later in the day after 4:30pm that a technician was in my area and would be by soon. The technician did arrive shortly after 5:30pm. This may seem late, but given I called in the morning without much notice, I was satisfied just to get someone out the same day. After he initially assessed the issue, I asked him for a best-case and worst-case scenario. He said if there wasn?t much more to it that getting the corroded pipe out of the wall and replace it, it would be around $325. He said worst case would be if it didn?t come out clean and he had to chip away longer and deeper that it could be in the neighborhood of $450. Things went well and In the end it took him under an hour to complete the repair--removing the corroded pipe and replacing it and the galvanized on either side if it with PVC. The total cost of the job was $325. I was satisfied with the experience and will use Cregger Plumbing and Sewer in the future. *Update - after talking to others about the work that was done, I got the impression that I overpaid a bit. Calling around asking for estimates for the issue I had fixed did confirm that. They may just charge more than average, or it was just how they deal with the "$111 for $200 worth of service" Angie's List coupon--this is the only service I've received from Cregger. So, I did adjust the price grade from A to B, but I still do not regret going with Cregger and would still use them in the future, though next time I will get more quotes.

They were excellent. They were on time and cleaned up when they finished. I've used them before.

I was able to get service the same day I called. help was friendly and professional. I have had no problem with the water heater since it was resolved. They were going to walk away without clean but did an adequate job when i pointed it out and apoligized for the oversight.

Installed new gas line for dryer..excellent work!

Inspected garbage disposal and replaced with new disposal. It went good; so far, no problems.

I don't even know where to begin to describe this malfunctioning company. We hired Cregger Plumbing to help us install a water line to a new kitchen in our basement. The quote Derek (the owner) gave us was reasonable, and we got a coupon on Angie's list towards the work. So far so good. On the scheduled day a crew of two plumbers show up and start off by telling us, that what Derek had quoted us was not going to work. They would have to open up our drywall to lay the lines (the quote was for mounting the lines on the wall). They would need more and different parts, and basically told us that they wouldn't be able to complete the work this day. Two weeks later they came back to finish the job and hook up the remaining appliances. It took many calls to the disorganised office manager to get them to come back. Finally another worker (David) shows up, whom we hadn't seen before and who didn't know anything about the job. To cut a very long and frustrating story short, David ended up setting our basement under water, ruining the new laminate floor we had just installed, and the company told us very rudely that they see NO responsibility on their behalf. The owner is currently ill, and we hope he gets well soon, to take charge of his company again. At this point in time, we strongly advise against hiring Cregger Plumbing.

Randy was able to stop the leaking outdoor faucet at least for the winter. I was given options and estimates to resolve other plumbing issues a round the house. Randy was friendly and professional throughout the entire visit. I would definitely enlist Cregger's services to fix other plumbing issues around the house again

I was very happy with them. They were very excellent and they even came back when I found something wrong.

The guy came he was nice, pleasant and business like. He seemed to do a good job. However in the last week, I have heard the same noise I have heard before the work was done. At first it went away, and now it has come back. At this point I have to call them back, the problem is still there. Update- I called him back today and he came out. He was unable to find anything. I am okay with how that went. We will keep an eye on things.

Very well. The workers were great. They cleaned up and it was a great experience with them. They will now be my official plumbers!

I had a leak under the kitchen sink. Aaron was the plumber who came out. He was on time and very pleasant. He replaced the old chrome trap, which was leaking, with new PVC pipes. He also had to replace the connecting pipes which took awhile and made me nervous about what the end price would be. | |I also had a faucet which I had previously purchased elsewhere installed. it took Aaron quite awhile to remove the old faucet because whoever originally installed it tightened the plastic nut with a tool rather than by hand as the should have. |I purchased their special of $200.00 service for $111.00 on Angie's list prior to his arrival. The bill was $275.00 and I paid an additional $75.00 which made my actual total $186.00. I thought that was a fair price considering all the pipe that had to be replaced and the problems he encountered. |I also asked for a ballpark estimate for replacing my bathroom fixtures and I will be calling them again.

Both experiences were fantastic. Their plumbers and technicians came when they told us they would and performed services promptly. They were all very pleasant and professional. Their prices were reasonable for services they performed. With last service call, they didn't even charge us for diagnostic visit (which was NOT short) and instead just billed us for the service that they performed the next day. Highly recommend this excellent and professional company-we will use them next time we have any plumbing needs!!

Basement flooding emergency forced call out to plumbing-sewer cleaning firm on an early Sunday evening. My usual go-to plumbing firm couldn't confirm an appointment time - Cregger was able to confirm an appointment within an acceptable amount of time. James @ Cregger explained when he could be with me and turned up when he had estimated. James was very professional and courteous and found root cause of problem very quickly, staying for an appropriate amount of time to ensure that problem was resolved. Fortunately issue was not major and call-out for 10 minute fix was very reasonably priced for after-hours call out charge. Now I have a new go-to emergency plumbing , and discounts for Angie's customers puts them at top of my list.

No problems with the either gas line. Would use again

Was in/out in 5 minutes (I had an adult to let him in). Did the job though and provided advice for future. No issues since. Didn't call me upon arrival as requested. I wanted him to look at my fireplace and give me a quote. Now I'll need to pay for another appointment for a quote.

In the period of about 2 1/2 weeks,we required drain opening services twice. First on the kitchen sink line and then on the master bathroom vanity drain line. Two totally unrelated incidents. In an earlier review, the kitchen drain line repair was described. The master bathroom vanity drain was more bizarre. In the early 1960's, when the house was built, the drain was installed with 2 sharp 90º bends before entering a Tee that led to the main waste line. The Tee was directly attached to the roof vent. Snaking the line from under the sink was difficult and became futile when the snake head broke inside the drain line. (Remember it went through 2 sharp 90º bends before hitting the Tee.) The only recourse was to open the wall and remove the bad section of drain line. To our surprise, we found lodged in the tee a rotted black walnut seed apparently from the tree near our house. (That tree is now gone but for other reasons!). Apparently a squirrel dropped a walnut down the drain vent. No wonder repeated applications of Draino did nothing! It is also the reason the snake head broke inside the drain line (The snake head was recovered!). The bad section was removed and the drain line was easily rerouted to avoid the 2 sharp 90º bends (which were also badly corroded). The plumber referred us to an acquaintance who did damage restoration. For another $125.00 the wall was repaired and we also had some other minor wall repairs taken care so the hall and bedroom walls could be repainted properly. Yes the two incidents were aggravating being so close to each other. However, Cregger was very professional in handling the issues and made it less stressful.

They were able to come out and provide emergency service to replace my non-working sump pump. They were prompt, neat, and were done within an hour.

Service was fine. No problems with any leaking.
