Cregger was responsive and polite, and explained why the second quote was significantly higher. I appreciated their flexibility when we needed time to decide if we were going to spend the money on a non-necessary service. When we declined to move forward with the service, they were very professional and understanding, without being pushy or put-out. I'd use them in the future for our other plumbing needs based on these interactions.

They did a really good job. We used them twice. They’re good. They were right on time and everything was okay after the service. There was no additional charge.

Cregger's office manager was very polite and set up an appointment for that day. The plumber/technician was also very personable (and did not track any snow into my house!). Unfortunately, he had to inform me that there is a larger plumbing issue to deal with, but did so in a very knowledgeable, positive way. He immediately offered to set up the service to correct the larger problem. I'm very satisfied with Cregger for the services provided. (Note: The actual cost was $175, but I had purchased a deal for $111 for $200 worth of plumbing/sewer services.)

We discovered it leaking in the morning, called them before 7AM and they were out and had it replaced by lunch. Very fast and efficient. I appreciate contractors who call back promptly. I would use them again.

Broke open cement and replaced pipe. They charged the highest end of the estimate which the guy who quoted me said would not happen. Then they took the laundry hook UPS so i had to buy new ones on top of their large cost. When i called about it i got no apology, reimbursement, nothing!

Before we had our sink and counter top installed, I wanted to make sure our kitchen sink pipes were not clogged. They were very professional and business like.

Honestly, they were all good. Everyone showed up on time and did what they were supposed to do. It was clear that everyone wanted to upsell me though. They looked at the wall and said there was a leak and needed to remove a wall. They gave me a $1,500 estimate for a $300 job.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it worked out very well. They were prompt, courteous and explained what the were doing. They gave us recommendations and I have had no complaints whatsoever; they were awesome. They were excellent, did what they said they were going to do and cleaned up the mess.

Plumber Kevin was great. Appointment time was between 9 and 1. Received a call around 9 that he was on his way. Clearly assessed the job. Explained complications and possible extra charges up front. Spent four hours on the job. Focused, polite. Did the job and left. I'd ask for him again.

Removed two faucets, replaced them with two I had purchased myself; also installed new p-traps(?) and tail piece. Was shocked at what plumbing repairs cost as my late husband repaired everything in the house. Had expected, I guess unrealistically, to have two other faucets replaced for the price of the offer. My son and/or a friend will replace these. Only reason I called a professional was due to what I thought might have been a major problem, but it was only the typical gunk that accumulates. Cost for service - $380.00, minus $200.00 off d/t offer; balance of $180.00 paid out of pocket. Outside of the unexpected high cost, the plumber was punctual, very polite, was quick and everything was clean. Would possibly call Cregger again if needed, but hoping all future work can be done by family or friends. Thank you,

I decided to go with Cregger in light of their strong reviews on AL. First, we set up an morning appointment, which they confirmed earlier in the week. On the day of the appointment I get a call advising that they had a bunch of guys stuck on another job and that they would call me before they were coming, but they could not give me a specific time. They ended up coming at noon, and they brought an extra guy to speed up the job, which i appreciated. However, one the guys they brought spent a bunch of time on his phone and then he also took a break to talk to another contractor I had at my house. I felt like in total, he wasted a good 20-30 minutes talking on phone, talking to the other plumber and talking to my other contractor. In the end, they replaced the valves and changed one of the fixtures without a hitch. However, the last fixture was for the shower and it caused a few problems as the welds kept leaking. They eventually seemed to get it fixed and left. The clean up left much to be desired, but I was happy that the work was done. Unfortunately the next evening, I noticed that there was water in my laundry room. Initially I thought it was the washer but later found it was coming from the light fixture on the ceiling, which was right under their work. I found that the leak has sprung again. I immediately called them and to their credit they picked up on 8pm on a Saturday. They said they would alert the plumber who did the work . He called me 30 minutes later to let me know that he could not come in until the following morning. Fortunately, he did come in around 8:45am on Sunday and he immediately found that he failed to get solder into one of the joints. He re-soldered the pipe. The office called on Monday and they apologized after I advised them of the possible damage, and after a decent amount of e-mails and a phone call they still refused to refund any of my bill but did end up bringing in a company to repair the damages caused by the leak. The building company they hired company they hired came out three times. Once to inspect the damage, once to repair the damage, and once to repair the repairs as the paint they used started to peal. Even after the third visit there are still some minor pealing and clean up issues. That said, I decided to deal with it, rather than have them come out for a fourth time. As such, i will never use this company again and could not recommend them to anyone. Response to the Response: This review was pretty much done before our the repairs were complete. Despite whatever the costs of the repairs were, both myself and my fiancee had to take hours out of our work days to wait for these repairs to be completed. We literally had to wait as paint dried. Thus, I think my request for a refund was more than reasonable at the time. I agree that you communicated well after the incident and I appreciated how you tried to fix things, but I stand by my response. Rather than having to negotiate with a company that I will never use again, I will simply let my review serve as the last time I waste on this entire situation.

The first two were just awesome !!! The guy fixed everything for me. The third one was an emergency service and that was okay too. Just too expensive. But they did fix everything as well and of course they had informed us before hand that it would be expensive. |The first two were regular ones and were really well done.

The plumber was nice, but he did not communicate problems. He replaced a very old leaky bath tub fixture and did a very good job. In a second bathroom he fixed The shower water temperature gauge and it now works worse after he fix it, though it is very difficult to adjust and the water temperature is always very hot. Also the part that was broken he did not replace with new part. The bathroom sink fixtures he replaced the faucet i secure and very loose. He also did not bother to clean the underneath surface from the old hot and cold handles. The new handles did not cover the stains from the old ones and I would have appreciated this feedback, I might have just left the old ones on. I called the company to let them know I was unsatisfied but they never returned my call. I will have to call another plumber to fix these problems. After seeing the review Derek came to my house to look at my problems. He did not know of my phone call regarding my dissatisfaction but vowed to fix my complaints. He had to order additional parts but when the new parts came in they we're fix to my satisfaction. I would have giving them an A if this would have been my original experience.

Mark was professional, courteous, and competent. He gave me an accurate diagnosis of the problem and then solved it. He was efficient, knowledgeable, and skilled. He also provided an estimate in case the floor had to be removed and the system replaced. Job well done.

We are very happy with the services performed by Cregger. Jim came out with assistant Keith exactly when promised, they inspected all our trouble areas (master bedroom sink, garbage disposal in the kitchen, and the water heater), told us what could be the problem and gave us their estimate before doing any work. They did not charge for garbage disposal adjustment as all they had to do is take it out and put it back in properly so it does not leak. They also gave us their assessment of the water heater for free. The only service they charged for was cleaning the pipe in master bedroom, for which we were able to use the coupon from Angie's list. They took out their shoes when in the house, and even wiped the melted snow from the floor when they were leaving. They were very professional and respectful, repaired everything very quickly (were in and out in less than an hour), and gave us some advises as to what to do in the future. Overall they left us with very pleasant feeling. We will definitely use Cregger Plumbing again.

Very professional. Did a great job for a fair price. They had to order some parts for the faucet and a test kit for the steam generator so it took two trips. The steam generator could not be repaired but he was able to run tests and tell us that the company advised returning it. The plastic waterline leading to our ice maker/water dispenser in the frig sprang a leak and they replaced it with a line made of sturdier plastic.

. After having a bad experience with Misko plumbing for water backing up in the tub, I called Cregger. The young man came out on 10/25/13, listened to what had been done so far to no avail and decided that the problem was not in the house, but in the line outside. I had had the outside line augered by Misko in August 2013. The Cregger fellow said it needed to be done again and did it.($175) It helped quite a bit. I was unhappy about having paid Misko in Aug. to do it which obviously didn't help any. Cregger came out at a later date and put a camera down the line and found several blockages. They said the line needed to be replaced. They dug up the yard and replaced the line to the street with a new one and said it should be a permanent fix. ($2300) It was a big mess, but they cleaned it up pretty well. It had to be done, my house is 60 years old, so no real surprise. The first guy was very pleasant and knew right away what the problem was. The crew that did the dirty work were great and very respectful of my property. I would hire them again.

From the initial call to the actual work everything was performed professionally, expertly, punctually and courteously. I will definitely use Cregger in the future.

We wanted to have an old toilet replaced by a new one. Plumber Jimmy showed up on time, did the job very well and put attention to all the details, like cleanliness, mounting accuracy, etc. He picked up the old toilet with him and even all cardboard packaging from the new one. Nice and clean. We are very happy having used Cregger for the job.

It was okay. It was a little more expensive than I thought. I think I purchased a prepay $111 and I forgot to mention it and they never said anything. So I think I paid more what I should have but other than that, the service was okay. They have more customer base. I think they have more customers than the other ones did. I’m not saying they were better but they had more customers which means they had more experience.
