It went well they were prompt and the job was completed with in the an hour.

They were able to determine the lead was not from the plumbing and provided advice as to what we could do to resolve the issue. I appreciated the honesty and that they did not try to sell me something I did not need. My only complaint was that they did not arrive within the time frame they said. I understand it was an emergency issue, but it would have been nice to get a phone call. I would use this service again thought because of the professionalism and honesty.

This experience has really made me question Angie's List's value. Cregger Plumbing has great ratings but our experience with them was not good at all. First off, I hired Cregger to go to my mother's house to do the work. At first everything was fine. The secretary was very nice and they sent somebody out the very next day. We received an estimate for $700-$900. They returned two days later (visit #1) to perform the work and the bill came to $900 (not surprisingly). In the process of doing the work, the plumber dropped one of his tools and shattered my mother's sink in her bathroom. They took measurements of the sink and stated that they would return and replace it. They returned the next day (visit #2) and didn't replace anything but took measurements again. They returned again two days later (visit #3) with a sink/vanity combo.....that was WAY TOO BIG! The plumber couldn't explain why the size was off so badly and he left. While this was going on, problems arose with the work. One of the new pipes was already leaking. There was also an issue in the bathroom where they replaced the pipes to the bathtub. They didn't properly secure the new pipes and when puling on the shower handle the entire pipe assembly would move several inches separating from the tile wall. I made a call that Friday to find out what was gong on and to notify them of the issues. I was told that we would get a call on Monday. So Wednesday, after not getting a call my mother called and they apologized for the nth time and said that they would be out Thursday. After waiting around all day they call about 4:00pm to say that they will have to come out Friday. Finally, on Friday (visit #4) they came out and fixed everything some 10 days after the initial visit. The plumber was very nice and apologetic and did the kind of job you would expect the first time. We were never offered any consideration and overall the experience was not a positive one. I realize that this was a busy time for them and they did state that the original plumber was no longer with the company but their service was still very disappointing.

I had purchased the Big Deal Offer for plumbing and it was really a very good experience with this company. I had some problem with my kitchen sink drain and I could not figure out the source of the problem and he was able to rule some things out. He was a very nice guy, very polite. Overall he did not actually fix the problem; he did rule some other things out. He was here when he said that he would be here.

They came out quickly. He did the work and cleaned up as if he had never been there. There later was a problem so I called the company. They came out and fixed the problem with no charge

It is good. They did exactly what they were supposed to. They were fine. I had no issues or problems.

plumber arrived 25 minutes after i called for an appointment. amazing! replaced cracked garbage disposal in record time. extremely professional. i would not hesitate to use them again. used discount coupon which made the experience even better.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They couldn't quite identify where the leak was coming from. They basically told me it was my fault it had a bad curtain so I bought a new curtain, but I'm still getting a water leak. There were no extra charges. They came out pretty quickly. I will probably not use them again in the future.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was okay, not great. The guy was very personable. I had three things for him to do and he did one well, could not do another and the other one he did mediocre to poor. The new faucets he put on were off-center and were still loose and the stopper was not connected. My husband had to redo it. The last thing I needed him to do turned out to be something we could do ourselves.

The plumber was originally not able to finish the work on the tub drain due to stripped screws in the valve up/down piece. The tub pipe sprung a leak shortly after the first work was done. I talked to the owner re the now leaky tub that supposedly could not be fixed. He was fantastic and worked it all out with me. He had a team out in a day or two to complete the work. Its really nice to do business with someone that really works with you and not just someone trying to get the most money for any job. It felt like a very trustworthy deal and it was upheld and honored as they said it would be.

The estimate almost $2000 more than what it eventually took to complete the work. Absurdly high estimate and no justification for the cost. The estimate was simply ridiculous.

I had a pipe burst in my laundry room during a time when many other people were facing the same issue. I called Creggar and they said they were extremely busy and may not be able to come out for two or three days. I was pleasantly surprised when they called me later that afternoon and told me they would be sending someone to my house in 30 mins. I prepared for the plumbers by cutting the screws that were holding the sink in place. Now all the plumbers had to do was disconnect the water and drain from the sink and repair the pipe. When the plumber came in and looked at the work he said it would cost 500 dollars plus materials because they had to tear out everything. I wasn't in a position to negotiate because the water was off to the entire house and my children were returning home from school in a few hours. It took them less than 30 mins to complete the job. There was a small amount of drywall that needed to be removed by hand because it was so wet. The job was done quickly and correct from what I can tell but I feel that they took advantage of me because I was in a desperate situation. I will never call Creggar again in an emergency but I would call them in a non emergency to get a quote.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and I found them quite expensive. The deal was great, but when it came to the material that they brought it was quite expensive. I guess sometimes you get what you pay for.

Second tech was much more customer service oriented, and completed the job. Just wish it wouldn't have taken a complaint and two days of work to complete.

It started off well. I called regarding an issue with my hot water heater and was given an appointment two days later. The technician showed up promptly, took a look, and confirmed what I thought the issue was with my hot water heater. He was very helpful and informed me that he could not simply pick up the part at a hardware store and fix it as Whirlpool used some parts that are not standard to all water heaters. He advises to call Whirlpool to get the part. Sounds good to me, so I call Whirlpool and they overnight the part to my house. After I get off the phone with Whirlpool, I immediately call Cregger back to try and schedule the install. The lady who answered the phone was kind of flustered and said she would call me back. No big deal, I figured they were busy. She never calls back so i call again later the next day...this time she seems irritated even to have to talk with me and says they are dealing with all sorts of emergencies and will have to call me back. Still, I'm trying to be understanding that their resources seem to be maximized. However, once again I did not receive a call back. Because of this, I decided to call another local plumber who was able to send out a technician within the hour. They took care of my issue promptly and at a low cost.

They came out a week before the work was performed to provide a free estimate. They showed up on time and were good at commuicating what needed to be done and providing a range of cost. The day of installation they showed up on time and got right to work. The plumber seemed very knowledgable and he was very hard working, completing the work in about 3 hours. The sink was installed up to standard and the plumber cleaned up and removed the old sink and all debris. It's been about 6 weeks and the tub faucet is still wroking great - no leaks and much easier to turn off/on.

Another solid experience with Cregger Plumbing! Excellent office staff, excellent service staff and excellent, on-time work. Even more impressive is the company's desire to help customers out on a holiday eve without charging time and a half. These folks are the real deal and you won't be disappointed using them in, whether in a crisis or as a regular service provider.

Jimmy arrived exactly on time and was polite, knowledgable and helpful. He explained everything to me and fixed what he could. He was neat and respectful of my home, me and my dogs! He did not have a replacement for my tub drain so he is ordering it and I will have him back. He analyzed the leak in my ceiling and we are hopeful it is remedied by reseating the toilet. Time will tell. But I am thankful that I do not have a hole in my ceiling! The cost was more than I had anticipated, but the $111 for $200 offer helped. I will definitely work with this plumber again.

I purchased a coupon for discount of services for $200 fully expecting to have to pay more at the time of service. I received an email the very next morning and they were able to schedule me as an emergency. That's why I thought big $$$. As it turns out I actually have a credit! The entire service was only $165! Jimmy was right on time and assessed my problem very quickly. He was polite, and non judgmental ( my kitchen was a mess!). Not only did he fix my clogged drain, he also modified something with the trap so I won't have anymore leaks that I didn't know I had in the first place. I will highly recommend Cregger's to all my friends in need of this type of service. I hope I don't have need to use the credit, but if I do, I am glad to know I already fully trust them to fix what ever problem I have.

My basement flooded with dirty water from drain sewer. They opened and clean up a pipe sewer. They found roots.They drained the water.They told me to maintain my sewers clean . I have to clean it yearly.

I called Cregger's at about 2pm today and *within an hour* -- this, after two days of historically low temperatures -- "Jimmy" was at my home looking into my problem. (I felt like I'd called Jimmy John's with their alleged "freaky fast delivery.") My frozen pipe was fixed a few in moments, and the technician looked at my pipes and insulation, and recommended one thing I could do to help prevent a future problem. This is the second time I have used Cregger's and they will always be the first place I call when I need plumbing services. These guys rock!
