They said he would be here between 9:30 and noon and he arrived at 9:30. Went straight to work. The old faucet was original to house which was built in 1962 so I assumed it would be difficult to remove but he handled it expertly. Made sure it was colmpletly drip free. Made a suggestion that my main water faucet might need replacing at another time. I am very satisfied with Cregger and would definitely call them again. One more comment. I have noticed that,whenever I employ someone recommended thru Angie's List they not only do an excellent job but they arrive when they say they the will and sometimes even sooner. Wish there had been an Angie's List when we bought this house 42 years ago.

I did use Cregger Plumbing & Sewer just recently and didn't work out too good. I just called for a plumber to do a very simple job to do a couple of valves in a bathtub on a rental house that I have and their labor rate was terrible. I asked them to explain it, they told me that they had two plumbers and that was seventy six dollars an hour each, so they charged me way too much labor. I asked that an invoice to be sent to me, I still haven't gotten an invoice, I have got a charge on my American Express card which I am going to dispute. I mean I have never dealt with them before. It's a rental so I was trying to get it done. They did come out, I called them on Friday and they came out on a Monday. The price included for the parts and the installation but the part were, from what I understand and I can't confirm it were only about forty five dollars. I can't grade them good, they just did not cooperate, they didn't explain the cost to me, I still haven't got any invoice, so I can't even tell you what the total breakdown is. It was working right and my tenant hasn't called me so it must be working fine. I thought they could have done it on a same day basis, they didn't, also I thought that they could have answered my questions better and they did not. They kind of like, we got you now, we got your parts and we are here and if you are not okay well, we are just going to leave it. I was sick at the time, I had some surgery, I couldn't go over. It was terrible. I don't think it was very professional when you deal with people in that manner.

The drains have not backed up since, and I am very grateful for this.

They addressed my needs and pointed out things that could be done in a preventive manner.

David came out on Jan. 13th, did the snaking of bath drain and fixed the leaking pipe in basement by adding a 6" piece of pvc. Total of about 20 minutes work, $240.00. As far as the bathroom pop-up; he took a picture of the faucet and said he would call us back in a couple days after he was able to locate the part. A week went by, so I decide to call to see what the problem was. I spoke to Emily and she said that David no longer worked for them and that she would call me back after she checked to see if she could locate a the part. Emily called the next day and said that Delta no longer has parts for the finish that we needed. I told her that I would check around to see if I could find a match or a close one. I decided to call my brother-in-law, who works at a kitchen and bath supply company, sent him a picture of the faucet and he said he had the same faucet in stock. I asked him if this finish had been discontinued and he told me that they are still receiving parts from Delta. Hmmmmm! Picked up the part and called Emily to schedule a date to have it installed. Tom came out on Feb. 3rd and stalled the pop-up. Total of about 25 minutes work, $125. Wondering now, if I was charged for a service call twice. 45 minutes work and a 6" pvc pipe, search for and pick up my own replacement part and charged $365.00 total. Seems a bit steep to me. The quality of the work was fine and will probably use them again, but I do think I will make some calls first to check on prices for a job.

They came out very promptly. I was really happy with their job. The person who came out was really considerate, polite and professional. I was a little disappointed that I had to pay the extra price.

It turned out very well. It was really good. The came out quickly. They fixed it quickly and I haven't had any problems. They called back quickly and was on time.

I was having water overflowing in my basement floor drain. I contacted Cregger on February 3, 2014, after seeing their ad and reading their reviews on Angie's List. They were able to schedule me for the next day, February 4, for an afternoon appointment. I was called approximately 30 minutes before the service man arrived to inform me of his approximate arrival time. He arrived promptly within the stated time range. Once he arrived, he was able to diagnose my problem within 15 minutes, brought his necessary tools in for the job, and was finished within 45 minutes. He was also able to provide me with the correct size sewer cap, which I'd had a hard time finding. He was very professional and courteous and cleaned up very nicely. Cregger was the first and only plumbing company I called and I am glad I made the best choice the first time around. I will definitely use the company again and will recommend their services to family and friends.

He was very nice. I was unable to put a ventless fireplace, where I wanted it due to MI code. Therefore, the service was not needed.

It went very well. Came promptly, fixed it in five minutes, they knew what they were doing and were very professional.

They had snaked it out previously in March, but found a few more roots this time which seemed to fix the problem. The plumber was very nice, cleaned up well and apologized for the mess left by a previous Cregger repair job. We have used Cregger many times and will use them again...hopefully not too soon.

Arrived on time, finished the job quick, and I even got to use a coupon provided by Angie's List. Cregger Plumbing and Sewer was very responsive and I would recommend using them for your plumbing needs.

This is was not a good experience from the start. I called these guys because my previous Angie List plumber went out of business. I had a 2 year old Bradford White 50 gallon power vent that was leaking from the pressure release pipe on the side and the first guy that came out hit it with a hammer and said it seemed fine. I told him I had spoken to friends who had the same problem and it was most likely the pressure release valve near where the pipe goes into the tank. He then replaces it. a 15 minute job and wants to charge me $375 dollars but tells my wife if I buy the Angie list coupon coupon it will come to only $300... ..He never writes the cost of the part on the invoice which I assume was less than $20.00... 2 days later it starts leaking again.. Creggar than sends out another gentleman who appears much more knowledgeable on the system. I have a set up that includes an expansion tank above the water heater and a pressure reduction valve on the main water supply to the tank.. He said either of those 2 could be the problem but does not have the parts or tools to diagnose and fix the problem. Creggar calls me and says we have to order parts and we will be back tomorrow to fix it at 10:00 Am. I drop my kids off at school the next morning and come back home ( missing work) and they call me and say very sorry we could not get parts and will have to reschedule for next week... just wasted a half a day of work...The next week we settle on a time and the original guys comes out replaces the expansion tank. Voila.. It is fixed.. Creggar credits me the full price of the of the first unnecessary fix but charges me $500.00 for the expansion tank and Labor. Once again the guy does not write the cost of the part on the invoice, I get know idea of warranty or specs on and feeling ripped off...I own a business... I get you have to pay for your vehicles, Insurance, health care and fixed costs but Over $300.00 in labor for a 15 minute job? Trip and service charged melded in? I bought the new water heater less than 2 years ago and had it installed for $200.00 . I have had garbage disposals installed for $80.00 which is a heck of a lot more work. I have had toilets installed for less..I do not get this pricing.I was gouged and will never use these folks again. A ratings can be misleading...First bad experience with a Super Service Provider...

This company exceeded my expectations for water heater repair. They answered all of my questions and performed all serivces within a timely manner. The technicians and secretaries were so friendly. They showed up on time and gave me a call approximately 30 minutes prior to arrival. They immediately began work. When they realized I put my 19 month old down for a nap, they conciously made sure they were quiet when coming upstairs! The cost of our water heater was more than most due to the type/kind that we have and after calling around the price was within the same range as 'cheaper' companies. With the coupon for $111 for $200 worth of service the price came in very close to other companies. I will use them in the future for plumbing need and for any other services they off if we are in need of them. Thank you Cregger!

Bill, Mark and Keith worked at thawing the plumbing in my tub and a pipe leading into my crawl space. My hot water heater, also, needed to be replaced. Cregger responded promptly to my needs. The guys were professional, efficient, and they provided me with excellent service. I will call them in the future for my plumbing needs.

This provider was at my home several months ago and worked on several things. One of them was a leak under the kitchen sink. The leak was not easily noticeable as it was dripping into a corner of my basement. When I noticed the leak had returned I called them. When I spoke to them I was told it was outside the 90 days but we would discuss pricing at time of service. I was given an invoice for $160, there was no discussion and he was here less than 30 minutes. They called today for a 'follow' up on the service, again I voiced my concern over the $160 to fix something for the second time within a few months. She didn't seem to care. I will NOT use them again.

I called at 7:30 am when they opened they took my information and I quickly received a call back from Bill I gave him the details he said they would have someone there between 9 & 1:30. I received another call to tell me the Aaron would arrive within 20 minutes. Aaron he was very professional and friendly even after we realized there was no inside clean out. He had to remove the snow covering the outside clean out and work to break free the frozen cap in -9 degree weather running the snake. He came in a couple of times to run water and took the time to make sure every thing was draining like it should he didn't hurry because of the extreme cold. I have never had better service than Creeger and will not use any one else.

Everything with the install went very well. The guys on the job were very professional and courteous. There was a lot of noise when they had to saw through the old steel pipe, but that was expected and didn't last too long. There was one issue with the new pipes connecting to the a small area of copper that was already in the house, but it was corrected the next day in a very timely manner. Have not had any issues with the pipes or the hot water tank and don't expect any either. You can't go wrong with getting work done by this company!

The provider was available within 30 minutes of our call late on a Friday. They were prompt, efficient and thorough. They cleaned up behind themselves and were pleasant to deal with. We will definitely continue call them for any future plumbing problems.

Had a broken water pipe in the bathroom and there was water everywhere. Had made calls to a lot of companies and plumbers but none could commit to come down on an urgent basis. Having a household with young children and nowater supply was something unimaginable. But Cregger plumbing was very prompt and they had a technician sent over in an hour. He was very prompt in fixing the pipe and saved our day.

I was very pleased with the service of Cregger Plumbing. The plumber was very timely and explained everything that needed to be done. He worked quickly and everything was very neat and clean when the work was complete. I would definitely call Cregger for any future plumbing needs.
