Kevin, from Cregger Mechanical Systems showed up within the 30 minute time frame they gave me and was very courteous and professional. He explained what was going on with the existing pump and that it could work for about another month. I decided to have it replaced instead of waiting since our basement is finished and did not want to take any chances. At no time did I feel under pressure since I have used Cregger in the past for other plumbing issues and always received excellent service. I would definitely recommend Creggger.

The workers were great. I have confidence in the repair and appreciate the hard work and professionalism of the company. This turned out to be a two day job. The workers explained to me each step of the process and returned a few days after the work was complete and the cement dried to move back some bookcases. I would recommend and use this company again.

The service was excellent. I was not disappointed with the service. Chris the technician was great. I will be using them again when I replace my galvanized pipes.

I called Cregger on a Monday at 8am to have someone come out and snake my floor drain. Emily answered, and she was very nice. They had someone at my house the same day by 10:30, and gave me a call 30 minutes before they arrived (much appreciated). 2 men arrived (Jim and I forgot the other's name). Both were very nice and professional. The job was pretty straight forward, but I felt they were thorough and answered all my questions. They were out the door in 45 minutes (I like to chit chat and ask questions, so it would've been quicker). I wouldhave given theman Overall Rating of "A", but I felt the price was a bit too high. I paid $195. I've paid to snake drains many times, and never paid this much money. In fact, I paid someone $85 2 weeks ago for my rental home (he was unavailable to come this time). I've paid as much as $135, but I think that $195 is too high.

We called Cregger out two times for estimates (first for a gas line installation and then for a laundry room outlet box installation and a hot water tank installation). Both estimates went well, with Cregger showing up on time and explaining the project details along with the pricing. We decided to have them do the gas line and outlet box. We were scheduled for an appointment on Monday, 6 January at 9am. The area received a lot of snow that Sunday night so I was not sure if they would be able to make the appointment that morning. I called the office around 8am and was told that the crew would come out as long as the road to my house was plowed. Since I was not living at that house at the time I was not sure so I told them I would call them if it wasn't when I arrived. The road was plowed but I received a voicemail saying that they did not have the manpower to perform the scheduled work that day. While I understand the predicament, I felt that they should have known this when I called. They had left the voicemail only around 20 minutes later but by that time I had already headed over to the house for no reason. I called back and rescheduled for Thursday, 9 January. Wednesday afternoon I received a call saying that yet again they would not have the man power needed for my project. At this point it felt like they weren?t really interested in our business. We considering canceling all together and letting another company do the work but we had already purchased an Angie?s List coupon and did not want to lose money. They were able to come out the following Wednesday (15 January), though the 9am start time ended up being later because they had to get supplies in the morning (which I felt should have been done earlier). Two technicians came out, though neither was the technician that had given us the quotes and explained the details of the project. Both technicians were professional. It was obvious early on that day that they had underestimated the time needed for the project. It ended up taking almost two whole days instead of one which was an issue since I had to take an additional day off work. I didn?t feel like there was a good enough reason for the change and thought that they should have sent more people to get the job done in the time promised. The gas line installation went well with no apparent issues. I have not had the opportunity to test the line yet, though I am assuming that it will work. Also, while they were at the house I asked them a question about my garbage disposal that had stopped working. They were helpful in answering my question and ended up replacing the disposal while they were there which was good so that I did not have to make an additional appointment. The laundry room outlet box installation did not go so well. They ran into some problems with where the pipes were located in the wall and ended up having to run the new drainage pipe outside the wall and around the hot and cold water pipes. This created an issue where the washing machine would now have to be at least 1 foot away from the wall, which is a problem in a small room. They had talked to me about needing to run the pipe like that but they did not make it clear that it would be so far away from the wall. It seemed like they could have done it differently to fix the problem but I did not know enough about plumbing to argue. However, we decided that we weren?t going to be happy with how it was done so we called out a different plumber to see if it could be fixed. The plumber said right away that he could run the drainage pipe under the hot and cold water pipes instead of running it a foot outside of the wall. He said he didn?t understand why anyone would do it the way they did. It was hard to be annoyed with Cregger originally because we assumed there was not another way to do the project but we now know that there was an easier, more effective way to do the project without having pipes come out of the wall and push our washer to the middle of the room. We are happy with the end result now, but it cost us $400 to fix Cregger?s mistake.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was great. I have used this company twice and they have done excellent work. They let me purchase a second special so the cost was very minimal. The technician did the work very quickly and efficiently; he took care of everything. We have planned on having them do some other stuff in the spring. The customer service stands out, from the person I called to the person who showed up. They were very quick and also were helpful with suggestions.

The service turned out good. He came and did the job right. I had used them one time before. He was a good kid.

They responded the same day we called, arrived promptly and were very courteous. They removed their boots before entering our home without being asked.

Excellent!!. Cregger Mechanical sent out a Gentleman named Chris, the most polite, attentive, communicative person you would ever meet. He told me everything he would do. Talked me threw as he was working on the project. Answered all my questions and was eager to do the job. I had never had this experience with any other company they gave me quotes on anything in my home. My normal experience with other companies is the condescension and feedback I get from them and the falseness they portray on how hard a job it is and they overprice the job. Before I had got a quote for $800 on this job to be done. I decided to join Angie's list and see if I could find better and it was the best choice I made. There was a coupon for $111 to get $200 of service. Over the phone I was told the service may cost around $145. I was ecstatic since I had already got an estimate for $800. Chris came out did more than my prior estimate and more than I thought he would do. The job was done superbly, excellent work and Chris tripled check for leaks. In the end Chris charged me $165 which was still under my coupon which I only paid $111 for and I still have $35 credit toward next job. I need to add that my conversations on the phone with the lady were just as pleasant and I got a follow up phone call asking if everything was good and I am satisfied with the job. Another thing I never got from any other company.

It took them a little longer time than they planed. But they finshed the job and there is no leak. The technicians are very polite, and professional. I think that they don't have any years of experience. That's why it took longer time to finish. But they have to get experience somewhere. I don't have problem with that. They got the job done at end.

It went very well. Tom was the plumber - very friendly, funny and professional. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Cregger performed as expected. They arrived and completed the job on time. The crew was professional and outlined what services they would be completing. Upon completion, the crew reviewed all of the services and tested the work while I was there.

Great job! Great Company! Great Deal! They came out ASAP and quicker than we anticipated with the work-load the scheduler told us we were up against. Since we were without water, we appreciated the quick response. I would use them again.

The plumber came to my home. However, he did not have the necessary part. He was not able to acquire the part. I have experienced at least three canceled appointments after waiting for the plumber. I have retained another plumber. Creggers was to contact me when they got the part, but they never did.

Asked for a quote on Garbage disposal fix. They told me that the will call me back but didn't receive a call back. I guess after researching online I was able to figure out the issue. In retrospect, I am happy that they didn't give me a call back. Otherwise, I would have spent money to pay for their visit.

Technician was very knowledgeable and completed the Job GREAT! A+++ Very Happy with them and will use again.

My experience from beginning to end was outstanding. I purchased the coupon for $200 worth of plumbing for $111. They came when promised, called ahead to let us know they were on their way. Diagnosed the problem, which we thought was a simple fix, but turned out it wasn't. They gave us a price an with the $200 subtracted...no charge for service call. They needed to obtain special parts and cut an access door (older house and had none). Shower water supply is top notch now. And the gentleman did an outstanding job in cleaning up the area. I would highly recommend Cregger!

I called at noon. They arrived within an hour. Took out the old tank and installed a larger tank. It was done very neatly. They did a nice job cleaning up. I will definitely call them if I have any plumbing needs in the future!

Originally I had contact with the plumber who looked at the job and I felt the price was too high. I guess I got him on a bad day because he left me with a take it or leave it situation. He really didn't adequately explain the costs to me but because my renter needed water in the bathtub. When Angie's list called to question how my experience was I gave Cregger Plumbing a bad review basically on the attitude I received from the person who came out to do the work. The work was done properly. No question about it. Today the owner of Cregger Plumbing called me about the bad review and listened closely to my complaint and apologized for the adverse experience. And he made it right on a cost basis. Mistakes happen. What happens next is what is really important. They came through. I will use them again.

Cregger Plumbing was punctual and professional. Both toilets were repaired although one of them "acted up" a bit by running just before the plumber left. He "fixed" that. But this particular toilet seemed to defy all attempts to get it to stop running although the other (identical) toilet performed flawlessly. Cregger Plumbing offers a 1-year warranty! I was not even aware of this but felt very reassured when I learned it. Kevin, a Master Plumber at Cregger, came back several times (quickly and without a single grumble, at least to us) until he felt confident that the repair "would hold". We have been extremely pleased with his professionalism and patience and good humor. I learned something very important. These Case 50 "low profile" toilets are designed to never overflow (and that is a very good thing!!!) AND if one of these toilets gets clogged, the way to unclog it is not with a plunger but instead with an "auger". I watched the process because I had never seen it done before. I have now ordered my very own auger* from Amazon.com for $27 (with free 2-day shipping because I am a Prime member). I also ordered some CLR to put in the toilet and leave overnight in order to remove at least some of the calcium buildup. It's the buildup of calcium that narrows the drain that leads to more frequent clogs. It is clear that Cregger Plumbing stands behind its work and is dedicated to satisfying the customer. I will - without question - hire Cregger Plumbing for all future plumbing needs. ? The auger I ordered from Amazon.com is the Ridgid 59787 K-3 3-foot Toilet Auger with bulb head (it is the same on that Kevin the Master Plumber uses)

The service was good. The technician was very professional. Just had conversation with a customer service representative and it made me to write this review. I had a kitchen sink plumbing service done in February 2014. The repair was great. The technician seemed to know what he had to do, and he was very professional. What I wasn't happy about was the customer service representative. 3 weeks before this service, I used Cregger Plumbing and used $111 for $200 deal. When I was scheduling for this new service, I was wondering if I could use this coupon again. Funny thing is that the coupon I used has been expired, and exactly same new coupon appeared in Angie's List. I called Angie's List and asked if I could use it. Angie's List said I can buy the coupon again because I'm not buying the same one, but it was up to Cregger Plumbing. There was a limitation on one coupon per household. So I called Cregger Plumbing and explained my situation. The customer service representative put me on hold, then got me back with "as long as Angie's List allows you to buy it, we will honor you." At the day of the service, I asked the technician again if I could use it. He said no. I explained that somebody in Cregger Plumbing said I could. He explained the one coupon for one household rule again, and he double checked with his boss. Okay, I tried, I thought. Today (next day from the service) I got a call from Cregger Plumbing and they asked how the service went. I compliment the service and explained this coupon stuff. The lady said "yes, it was me, and there is one coupon for one household rule." I said "but you didn't tell me when I called you." She replied "I honestly thought that Angie's List would not let you buy the coupon again." May be I'm a cheap a******, but I didn't think what she said was professional. What I saw was inconsistent explanation and not-my-problem attitude. Later she apologized, but I guess it was too late. Please don't get me wrong - they're good. Two of my service went every well. I wasn't really happy about the interaction with the customer service.

During a deep winter freeze, we had a kitchen sink stop draining and back up. We called and got an appointment promptly- even though they had been working non-stop with frozen pipes all week. The 2 guys that came were tired and stressed, but still took the time to explain everything to me and suggest options for how to best solve our problems. They even drew diagrams! Turns out we had both a plugged drain AND a frozen pipe. They were able to snake the drain and remove the blockage, but we passed on having them open up the wall to heat the pipe. They gave us the cost for the work completed and a quote for the work on the frozen pipe. The best thing was that they were honest with our options on the frozen pipe (I believe they are paid hourly and don't have any incentive to add on extra work that you may not need). They gave us some suggestions and offered to come back the next day if it didn't clear. We were able to heat the pipe and clear it ourselves with hot water and a hair dryer. Knowing that we had professional help available if we weren't able to solve the problem ourselves gave me the confidence to try it on my own! I would definitely use their services again.

These guys are great. They know what they are doing. They do what they promise at a price that is palatable.
