It was a great experience. They were so nice and very accommodating. They made sure they hooked our toilet up before they left, everyday. It turned out more beautiful than we imagined. I've already given their card to 3 people. And I recommend them!!!

Renovations went extremely well. Moore Home Renovations did a fantastic job and everything looks great! Moore communications were excellent, they showed up when they said they would, cleaned up at the end each day and worked with us throughout the entire process. They were responsive to our concerns and worked to address each one in a timely manner! I have already recommended to several friends and one signed up with them already for bathroom remodels. Brian, Richard, Sandy and work crews were professional and very easy to work with! Well done guys!! Moore Home Renovations will be the first ones I contact when I have another update to do!

Less than 3 years after job completion I have had two major leaks, both requiring extensive and expensive mitigation. They failed to pull the required permits and according to my homeowners insurance contractors, did not follow code. They cut corners, did not complete contracted work and refused to replace a 6 week old water damaged cabinet from a leak almost immediately after installation. I do not feel they were honest.

I searched months for a cabinet builder that could create makeup vanity cabinets to match the sink vanity I already owned. I ultimately found 2 companies that were able to replicate the cabinet, Moore offered a much more reasonable price and timeline. My overall experience was excellent, everyone I dealt with was professional and the cabinets matched perfectly both in color and details. Midway through the project we identified an issue with the new cabinet, I brought my concern to the owners attention, he immediately agreed with my concern and corrected the problem. I would absolutely recommend Moore Home Renovations to anyone remodeling a kitchen or bath. The staff was professional and the owner was always available. It felt really good to deal with a company that offered fair prices, excellent quality and honored timelines. The thing I appreciated most was the integrity they exhibited, never offered any excuses but immediately did the right thing.

Brian Moore was able to design a beautiful plan for our kitchen and two bathrooms. He came up with ideas that we hadn’t envisioned on our own. Brian listened to and incorporated our wishes for these rooms. His employees were polite, timely and skilled. They were conscious of keeping the work area very clean. All of the renovations were very well done. We continue to enjoy these renovations each and every day over the past several years now. We highly recommend Moore Home Renovations.

They did such a great job! There was a mold issue with the old bath and they gutted it and gave us a completely new (much bigger and better) space. Everyone at Moore Renovations was helpful and knowledgeable and their estimate was by far the best one I got. I can't believe we now have such a beautiful bathroom. It puts the rest of our house to shame. I would definitely hire them for all future projects.

We were very pleased with the design, tear-out, installation, and over all look of our master bathroom. The crew was on time, cleaned up every day and the work was performed to satisfaction. We were pleasantly surprised with how smooth and efficiently everything went!

Short version. I would never hire them again. The work they did seems solid, but they had little attention to detail and frequently missed deadlines. They were significantly more expensive than other contractors, but they convinced us because "we do it right the first time". We are both firm believers in "do it right the first time", so that sounded good to us. Unfortunately, that is not what happened. I am not going to list everything, but I will list a few things, most of which fall into the "paying attention to details" kind of catagory. Got some marble shelves for the shower. Of course there are stone color variations, that's normal, but when the tile guy at the store points out that there are 3 different "colors", don't you think you should try to match them? Instead, we got 2 white shelves, a grey shelf and a pink shelf. And they were upset when we were upset about it! The Shower head plumbing was originally installed in the bathroom for the previous owner who was "very" short. The shower head was not moved up, so it is eye-level on me, since I am tall. So I have to duck under it. Also, the shower head was not installed in such a way that it can be tilted down more than 45 degrees, so the water shoots straight to the back wall of the tub, instead of into the tub. We requested a tub with a non-slip coating, for safety with a toddler. We did not receive one. Just generic "tub" from Home Depot. The Shower handle/plumbing was installed upside down. it works fine, just backwards. One of the tiles, at eye level, in the shower, is damaged. It's just a scratch, but somehow the back of the tile shows through as orange. Didn't think the nicer tiles were supposed to do that. It took them 3 separate trips to actually adjust the tub drain to stop the water from draining when attempting to take a bath (you know, toddler!). Behind one of the medicine cabinets, they literally drilled 18 holes into the drywall, in a nice straight line. Did they not have a stud finder? Can't think of any other reason to do this. We only took down the medicine cabinets because we decided to do something else, otherwise we wouldn't have found this. Everything seems to be solidly installed. Everything also seems to have been sloppily installed, with no real attention to detail. There is no real "they ruined the bathroom" story here. Everything appears to work fine so far. It's just, with a LITTLE attention to detail, this could have been a great bathroom. If you're paying $18,000 for a small bathroom, you kind of want it to be done right. We didn't have extravagant style or taste, we just wanted it done "right". And it just wasn't.

It went very well! The workers were all very professional, tried their best to keep the dust and dirt to a minimum. Covered everything with drop cloths every day, and did a very nice job overall. They took the extra time to put the toilet back on every night so we had a working toilet in the home. We had a total tear out ( bath tub too) and put in a stand up shower and relocated a toilet. They had it all done within the 10 business days promised. Loved having a designer helping too! We look forward to having them renovate our kitchen. I definitely recommend Moore Home Renovations!

Wonderfully - as with any 88 year old house, there will be surprises. The crew handled them well and within budget. Of the 4 designers we interviewed, Sandy was the one whom listened. She saw our vision to honor the history of the house yet bring it into the 21st century!

Fantastic! From our first meeting to get a bid, through selection of items to the work itself, everyone involved was top notch. Moore bent over backwards to accommodate a special scheduling request we had. The job was done promptly, professionally, ahead of schedule and looks fantastic. Sandy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable in assisting our selection of key items; Mike and Kenny did a fantastic job with the work itself. Easily among the best experiences we've had with home improvement projects. Will definitely give them a call for the next project. Great job, great organization!

Very well. From working with Brian and Sandy, all selections of tile, granite countertop, vanity, commode, and faucets and design work....all seemed easy with little stress. The two man crew was great and a delight to have in our home. All work was completed in the timeframe given and it looks amazingly GREAT!

It went fantastic. They came in and did the job. They provided everything they said they would do. Everyone has said my kitchen is gorgeous. I had no problems during the process. I would definately use them again and recommend them to anyone. They were very clean and neat. They put plastic down and made sure not to make a mess while doing. Everythnig was cleaned up before they left.

We  met Brian Moore, and his son Richard at the Novi Home Improvement Show in January. We were looking specifically for a smaller company in our area. He came out to the house in July for a written estimate, and work began in late Sept.
It took 3 weeks from start to finish; everyday.
Richard, and another guy did all the work himself.
The bath is amazing.  I will also mention that their secretary did an online 3 D model of the proposal  before they started, and went with me to the Tile store to help pick out all the tile, flooring, and accent pieces. She also met me at the Granite place with all my samples to pick out the countertop
Richard was nice, neat. and professional, brought many tools to the house and set up in the driveway. They cleaned up
everyday, including taking out everything from the gut same day. The adjacent bedroom was tarped off to contain the dust.
They also installed a pocket door, and advised us what to do because the custom door we ordered from a local door company was a tiny bit warped. We are currently in talks to replace that door and Richard said they would come back to
put the new one in.
They told us they did not do painting, but Richard wanted to make sure the drywall seams were perfect, so he did the
primer on that himself, and we did the finish coat in the color we picked out.
The tile installer was a sub-contractor, as was the glass installer; both did amazing work.

Brian Moore has two good installers and a good electrical sub. No complaints with them. But Mr. Moore simply overbooked himself. The project was delayed for sometime because a prior customer decided toward the end of that project to have Mr. Moore now do another room. Because Mr. Moore could not bring himself to say 'no' or 'wait' to that customer, we had to wait longer. Mr. Moore made some ordering mistakes with some of the material as well. As to the granite, it was Mr. Moore, not us, who had two favorite granite subs on his list. When that granite sub and I added some granite, which I was willing to pay, Mr. Moore complained about that granite sub's past practices. My primary contractor is complaining to me about one of HIS subs?? At one point, Mr. Moore said something no customer ever wants a contractor to say: " I'm not making much money on this". After some additional shelf gliders were requested, we waited for weeks and weeks w/no reply. Only because we spoke with the manufacturer did we get a reply from Mr. Moore. Summarizing: Mr. Moore and his crew know what they're doing. But the contract has to have very specific completion dates to stages of the contract. I hope for Mr. Moore and his crew this was an isolated experience.

When we paid our initial deposit Brian told us that it would be around Nov 1 that they would start the job.  They did the kitchen tear-out on Oct 31 and work commenced immediately thereafter.  After we had paid our deposit we met with Brian at his granite dealer's showroom and picked out our granite countertops and then our backsplash tile.  I ordered in our new Silgranite sink and faucet, our hood fan and kitchen cabinet door hardware & lighting fixtures so that once they started the job, it flowed very smoothly and seamlessly.  Steve, their hardwood floor provider, came into the kitchen immediately after the old kitchen tear out and removed our existing pre-finished hardwood floor and installed a new red oak floor that he stained exactly to our sample.  To say that they were efficient and professional in their sub-contractors and installation is an understatement.  Richard is an amazing carpenter and totally re-did our oven cabinet to accommodate not only our new double oven but also our microwave.  They also did a custom counter-top template for our island to allow us adequate room to move about the kitchen and still accommodate our request for a small seating area.  They actually worked during Thanksgiving week to get the granite installed and then finished up the job the next week with the tile installation.  The quality of all the finish work exceeded our expectations.  We are totally thrilled with our new kitchen and the work they performed and would strongly recommend them for any kitchen and/or bathroom projects.  We would use them again for our next project.

There was a long lead time in beginning our project.  We contracted with Brian on October 11, 2012.  However the work did not begin until Dec. 27th.  He was in the process of finishing another kitchen addition which accounted for the delay.
Once the work began it went quite smoothly.  The work was very professional with a fine attention to detail.  The end result is a beautiful, well functioning kitchen that will be a pleasure to show off!!

Oh where to start? First let me say this company and crew are AWESOME!!  We are scheduling another job with them soon.  As for this job we are so happy with our new kitchen, our new master bath and our ½ bath!  We wanted to redesign our whole kitchen by
knocking out a pantry, moving the fridge and adding an island.  Brian Moore came up with a design plan that was exactly what we were thinking.  They were so helpful helping us decide on colors and styles.  Their attention to detail is amazing.  They felt like we needed one more pot light in the kitchen and added it at no extra cost.  The finish work is just gorgeous.  They did everything we asked for and more.  They even put up with one of my meltdowns on how the tile should be laid down.  Thank goodness they held off until I could go home and see the bigger picture.  We trusted the crew 100%.  All we had to do was give them the code to our garage and they were on their way with no need for us to be home at all.  When we would get home there was no mess in the house.  They were so clean if I didn't see that the room was gutted or wall was starting to be put up I would wonder if they were really there they were so clean.  I could go on and on but just know that these are the only guys I want working on my house. They are awesome!
