Victor did an amazing job sanding/refinishing our hardwood floors and replacing trim. He is professional, knowledgeable and has great attention to detail. Victor did a fantastic job on our floors, from installation of about 300 sq ft of new wood, to refinishing nearly 3,000 sq ft of existing flooring, along with trim work. Victor is very straight forward, knowledgeable, and passionate about his trade. Because he does all the work himself, his attention to detail is second to none, and treats your home as if it were his own. I’ve had flooring work done 4 times across different homes in the past 15 years, and Victor’s attention to the small and fine details is what separates him from others (also one of the most punctual professionals we’ve ever contracted). Lastly, Victor was patient and flexible when we ran into a few unexpected challenges that weren’t obvious during the quote process (and taught me a few things along the way!).

We purchased a new house with floors that needed a little TLC, but being new homeowners made us uneasy about how to go through getting them redone. Victor made the process easy. Victor was excellent!!!! After reading several profiles for hardwood floor professionals I was convinced that Victor was the right person for the job. He was punctual, professional, personable, and respectful. Additionally, his work quality was excellent. WE ABSOLUTELY love our floors, which were refinished in BONA Graphite color. He refinished 4 bedrooms, a living and dining room, and upstairs and downstairs hallway within 5 days, with no compromise to quality. My kids even enjoyed him. Will work with him again.

Victor is knowledgeable and professional in his craft. He will answer any and all questions without hesitation. Provides samples on the floor so you really know what you are getting. We are currently doing a full renovation to our house and this was the cleanest process we have encountered to date. We were able to stay in the house during the entire process. Looking to get your floors redone? Hire Victor, he knows floors. I learned more than I thought I ever would about how the finishing process works, and more importantly how to care for them now that they're done! I can't believe we had ugly beige carpeting covering up such beautiful floors for almost 18 years. Victor responded quickly to our request for proposal and walked us through the whole process. He showed up exactly on time each day and got right to work. He kept us on track to choose the stain color and finish and was very pleasant to work with. I've attached before and after photos so you can see the results for yourself. We are thrilled with his work and with our "brand new" floors!

Victor did a fantastic job with our floors. Everything was great from start to finish. He was able to meet quickly for the quote and was able to schedule ya right when we wanted. We just moved into our new home which had red oak floors with a natural stain. We were hoping to get a lighter wood (almost a whitewash look), which can be hard with the red oak. Victor showed us a few samples and we didn’t quite like how they looked. He allowed us to see another approach...and it was perfect! Our floors really look great! The light wood color looks so natural and it’s exactly what we envisioned. I also appreciate that Victor paints and installs the shoe molding around the trim. Other companies we looked into only installed them, but did not paint. His quote was also very reasonable, lower than most others. Very professional work and he clearly knows what he is doing. He also doesn’t mind explaining the process and any care and upkeep you need to do to maintain the floors.

Victor was excellent throughout the entire process! We received multiple quotes, and went with him based on his professionalism and reasonable cost. He did an excellent job with our hardwood floors. We have an over 100 year old home with oak hardwood which previous owners had not taken care of. Victor restored the floors to their original beautiful glory, and even helped match shoe molding where it was missing. His work was clean and efficient. Victor did a great job taking our old hardwoods and giving them new life. We had removed a bunch of carpet (an entire house worth) and found old oak hardwoods underneath that needed a lot of TLC, including our stairs which were stained multiple shades. We were bit hesitant to have hardwood on our stairs as we have young kids, but Victor used a non-slip coating which works great! We love our floors and working with Victor was very easy, we would definitely hire him again.

We loved working with Victor. We had three people give quotes and were within a few hundred dollars. We selected Victor because he arrived on time and communicated promptly which translated into his work at our house. Everything was on time and he kept us in the loop during the whole job which included some surprise water damage that had to be patched. He even made time to come over on the weekend to test stain colors because I had to head out of town for work. Most importantly the floor looks amazing!!!!! We have several more rooms to do after a remodel and we will hire Victor again!

Just when I had succumb to the fact that all tradesman we're just ok and lacked either customer service or follow through, I met Victor with MI Hardwood Floors. I had seen great reviews on AL, so I gave Victor a call and honestly just needed a second quote to see if the first was in line. Well Victor stole the show. It began with Victor helping my mother in law with a box that needed to be brought into the house. It continued with Victor providing a quote that night and starting the job next day. I always have a ton of questions and want to know how the sausage is made, and he explained everything thoroughly. On top of that, because I am not currently living in the same state, Victor sent me multiple updates over texts, as well as pictures daily. Excellent, couldn't be happier. Victor is efficient. He completed the entire job in 4 days (1700 sqft) he removed carpet, sanded/patched and stained our hardwood floors. The floors look brand new. He repainted the trim and added molding. He is very responsive and great to work with.
