I really like the services of Griffin's Neighborhood Auto Clinic. Their service was really good, they did a very thorough job.

Went very well. In and out in a jiffy and job well done. Friendly and efficient.

I was having issues with a component in my engine that was making a lot of noise. They told me that they could replace the part for about $800, but let me know that there wasn’t anything functionally wrong with the part and advised that I didn’t need to work done. They were nice throughout the process and I let them do a fluid flush for me.

They worked out a plan to do the work into four phases. The phases were prioritized. The quotes they gave me were fixed, that is, they would change.

They were friendly and reasonably priced. All of the repairs were done in a timely manner.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it was good. We felt the service was honest and fair. We have a couple of other things we may have done. The people we came in contact with were great.

During the course of the past several months there was an unexplainable squealing sound coming from the engine compartment and I could not figure it out. I called Griffin Family Auto which I found on Angie's List and whom I used before. He asked for us to drop the car off that evening. The next morning he was able to locate the problem, called me to inform me of the problem and asked me if I wanted the problem fixed. I said yes and he was able to repair what was a belt which needed to be replaced. Griffin is efficient, gives you the accurate assessment, gets the job done without 'gouging' me. First class service. Highly recommend.

They repaired the brakes on my Nissan Versa. They did it on time for the agreed price. No surprises. I can't they that I look forward to using them again but I know if I need repairs in the future this is where I will go!

Did good work, but did not give me the full picture. After doing some major work I was told about additional work that nearly doubled the cost.

A friend recommended another auto service provider but they couldn't accommodate during the holiday so I went for the next best thing, Angie's List. Found Griffiths and was not disappointed. We thought my son's car needed brakes but upon inspection Bill said that they could wait until spring. During inspection they did find other things that needed attention today and other items that could wait. They repaired what was needed and he printed for each item a service quote with timing and what order he suggests they be done so we keep the car on the road. Bill's time and effort was truly appreciated. I've been using a certain GM dealership for years but found today I like this better.

We were looking for a new mechanic and found Griffin's on Angie's list. We have a Cadillac SRX and wanted to find a mechanic who would know how to work on a car that has a lot of components to deal with. Scott Hanlon took my wife's phone calls and handled the dropping off and picking up car. He was knowledgeable and professional and answered all of her questions. When we dropped off the car, we already knew some of things that had to be fixed and when Scott called they were honest about what needed to be repaired and what could wait. We feel their labor costs were fair due to the amount of work that was involved in replacing the valve cover gasket and the rear differential seals. We will definitely recommend Griffin's Neighborhood Auto.

Got a soft break problem on my 2006 Ford Fusion. Bill did a break examination for free and was able to resolve the problem with a break fluid flush. This is the first time I have my vehicle repair in this shop. I am glad to have the problem resolved with $100.

He is excellent and I've been using him for years. He just does everything for me. He is a nice guy. Something was wrong with my car and they just turned it on so they didn't charge me. They are good about giving you little goodies. There are a lot of people in his team that I like; they are really nice to me.

It went well as always. This last service was striaght forward and routine. My current and previous vehicles had major challenges that Griffin's determined the root cause and solved problem in a timely manner. Griffin's has the best pricing and has offerred less expensive options, where applicable, compared to other auto service/repair businesses.

My car was stalled on my way back from getting a new transmission estimate in Canton. I found out about a week ago the transmission was failing and needed to be addressed soon. With the estimates I got from several repair shops, I felt very frustrated with how expensive transmission work is! I called Griffin's which seemed to offer a more competitive quote and decided to give them a try! They asked me to drop the car off at their parking lot. Bill and Scott there were very helpful and honest, they stick with their estimate and time line. When I got my car back, it ran like new, and I couldn't be happier with the repair work they did! I am glad I found a great and reliable auto repair shop in the neighborhood that I can trust and go back to!

Went to Griffin's based on the positive rating on Angie's list and we weren't disappointed. We just bought a used 2002 Corolla with a known oil leak. The quickly located the problem and even did follow up to be sure that was the only leak. Let us know that our serpentine belt was cracking and gave us the option to fix it or wait. We chose to replace it. The exhaust leak was something they could fix with some welding. It took longer than they had planned but they gave us the reasons why and I felt confident that their attention to detail and the desire to fix it right the first time was worth the wait. As they were fixing the original issue they discovered some rusted out bolts and needed the time to replace those as well. The original estimate was actually higher than the final cost, so needless to say we will be returning to Griffin's Auto and will recommend it to others.

Went in thinking brakes needed replacing because of a bad noise on our 2013 Saturn Ion. After the free inspection, they noted the brakes were fine and it was the right front bearing that had gone bad. So we had them both replaced.

Service was performed promptly with good communication and the car was ready when promised. Overall, a very good experience.

Chose this place based on Angie's List recommendations. Was not disappointed one bit. Dropped my car off on my way to a 2-day vacation to get the AC recharged, the brakes replaced and the rotors possibly milled as well. Mike gave me his card, took my info and said he'd call with the estimates, which he did. He told me I still had about half my brake pads left, but it was the rotors that were making the noise (very honest). He gave me estimates with/without replacing brakes, didn't try to sell me but gave me honest answers to my questions. Price was much lower than I expected. He also noticed my oil change sticker showed I was overdue for an oil change. For $30, I said why not? I so glad I didn't take it to the dealer. They always overcharge. I finally found a place I can trust and will use them from now on.

Very quick and knowledgable. Griffin's is the only auto mechanic I will take my car too!

After a very poor review that I had written relating to service conducted at Griffens. I was personally contacted by the owner and after talking to him at great length, I told him I would bring my car back again thus giving them another opportunity to earn my business. I was very impressed that the owner took the time to call and speak with me at such length. He told me that he would credit all money that I had paid fixing my previous issue should I return and that protocols would be instituted so the issue that happened to me wouldn't happen in the future. When I brought my truck in the air-conditioning was not working and this required a flush and recharge. Griffens went above and beyond fixing the issue as promised crediting my previous repairs to the bill. They also stored my truck for a week as I was out of town on business. I further learned that Griffens is part of a national alliance of auto mechanics and if I had only called them earlier about my other issue they could have gotten me in with any number of auto mechanics anywhere in the country. Bottom line my problems could have been mostly averted if I would have communicated a little better. I still remember the initial mistake but after all that great customer service the memory is fading fast. In the end Griffens is a true place where they put the customer first and practice first rate customer service. Thanks Griffens

They were horrible. My husband was driving the car long distance and called me and said that they didn't do the brakes right because there was a funny sound. He took it to a place in Virginia and when they took off the tire to look at the brake the entire brake pad fell off when they touched it. They never bolted the brake pads back on the car. My husband could've died in an auto accident because of what they didn't do, so it was just very bad. They seemed nice and everything, but the fact is they didn't do a good job. They put our lives in danger for their lack of competency on fixing the car.
