Sol Con and Dave Mitchell was the fourth insulation estimate that I received. From our first meeting, I could tell that Dave was not going to go through the motions and recommend the typical insulation treatments for my hard-to-insulate bungalo. He blew insulation in the walls and blew insulation in the attic where appropriate. Furthermore, Dave used a polyurethane foam to seal and insulate the knee walls and other hard to insulate areas. He worked to individualize solutions for my house. Not only does Dave Mitchell assess the job and provide estimates, Dave is the one who comes out and does the work--and he is one hard worker.

I received a very competitive quote within 2 days. Sol-Con came out at the agreed upon time. The work was completed in one day. Dave answered all questions. With the current Gov. breaks for home insulation this has been a very rewarding experience.

I was planning to do the insulation myself and I'm glad Dave came over for the estimate. He explained the difference between cellulose and fiberglass. They came and did the job in a matter of a couple hours and now our whole attic is insulated.

Dave from Sol-Con explained exactly what and how he's going to do the project, which really helped me understand all about it. Both workers showed up on time and worked hard. When they were done, they cleaned up everything. And the best part, I feel the difference now between the "before" and "after" the project. I will be glad to recommend them to others.

The inspection, explanation of the bid, and the work were executed by the owner of the company, He immediately recommended actions that none of the other bidders even mentioned (for example, added venting and upgrades to our recessed lighting fixtures). These were items that I knew we needed, so it was easy to reject the other bids. Unlike the other bidders, he went into the attic and inspected its full area. If your bidder doesn't do that, you'd better think twice before accepting the bid.

Dealing with Sol-Con went very well. Mr. Mitchell arrived as scheduled for quote and job. Job was for blown in insulation and drywall repair. They showed up as scheduled, completed the job very well, and cleaned up the workplace nicely. I would suggest dealing with Mr. Mitchell.

Job very well done, professional in all the details. We hope the cold seazon will prove it's efficiency and see lower heating bills with the extra insulation in the attic. Now we expect to have something done with the exterior walls, there is some insulation missing there.

Dave knew his stuff. He did an excellent job, he identified additional ventilation that was needed and his prices were better. He was by far the most credible person who talked to us. It wasn't a "sales job" for Dave.

He was the only person that would work with asbestos siding, by taking it down and blowing in insulation from the outside not the inside like everyone else I had quoted.
