MAS ELECTRICAL

Poorly. Horrid customer service never fixed problem I had paid for. Had to hire another company that was able to locate and fix the problem in under thirty minutes. Took weeks with these guys. Would never use again.

I came home on a Monday evening, approx 5PM and discovered the TV, lights and other electrical was not working in a certain area of my home. Looking at my breaker box I noticed one of the breakers had flipped. Upon trying to flip back it was not working. A short time later my husband arrived home and also attempted to flip the breaker. Suddenly smoke billowed from the box and a very strong burning odor occurred. We immediately started calling electricians. After 3 unsuccessful calls to different electrical businesses, they were either closed or told us they didnt handle emergency situations. Upon calling MAS, he told us he would be there in 20 minutes. He did arrive in 20 minutes, stayed about 3-4 hours and secured our home, and came back the next day for about 8 hours and completed the work which included rewiring a portion of the home. He arrived when he said he would and brought an additional worker. I can tell you, first and foremost, MAS electrical said we will be right there when others said sorry cant help. They were also thorough and professional. You can't put a price on your family's safety but I think the price was fair considering the work completed, emergency call and non-business hours worked. They did charge by the hour which I am not a fan of because with this type of work a layperson would not really know, I prefer a flat fee for a job but I also realize that some businesses do charge their work this way.

They charged me for the fixtures which was around $437. I checked other home improvement stores and I was ripped off for the price of the fixtures. They also charged $779 just to install the fixtures. Beware of this company. When I received the bill from them after the work was done for $1500, I couldn't read or understand the quote. I asked to receive one from the office and he demanded the money.
