When appointment was scheduled, Steve was very conscientious of my time and kept in touch to be sure we coordinated our schedules. I loved the convenience of having the work done at home rather that having to drop off my vehicle elsewhere. Steve and his son came prepared with everything they needed to do the job (only needed a power source). He enthusiastically called after the appointment for feedback. Perfect! My 2009 Saab looked brand new - every nook and cranny was spotless. Even the cloth top of the convertible was steam cleaned. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I have 4 children, age 5 and under, who put our minivan through its paces. Detail XPerts did an amazing job! The car looked like it could have been brand new. My daughter had left crayons in her cupholder last summer that melted into a mess. You'd never know - the cupholder is pristine. The car looks amazing. Thank you!

 + -1 moreWonderful service. It took a while to get the service scheduled because of my work schedule and the company's busy schedule (My only 'B' rating was for Responsiveness). They arrived at 3:00pm and worked solidly until after 6:00pm. Both men were polite and hardworking. I have tried to use a leather cleaner in my car previously with some success. The steam cleaning restored the seats to 'like new'. Same for all of the surfaces on the inside and outside of the car. They even got the dog hair and leftover hay from under the 3rd row folding seats (from when I transported 4 hay bails).They do not repair any defects/scratches in the paint. They just become clean. The only spots that did not come off were two sap spots on the hood that the steam cleaning could not get out. The steam cleaning did remove a lot of smaller sap spots. I would definitely recommend them to my family, friends and anyone reading this review.
Description of Work: Professionally detailed my 2007 Ford Explorer. This is the first time the truck has been detailed. Steam cleaned and buffed the exterior paint to a 'like new' shine. Cleaned and polished the trim, wheel well and tires. Steam cleaned the leather seats, floors, mats, and ceiling. Cleaned the windows and instrument panel. Cleaned under and between the seats, including the folding 3rd row seats. All surfaces look as if they are from a brand new vehicle.

 + -1 moreIt went extremely well. Steven had called me a couple of times before they arrived, letting me know when they would get to my house. They arrived when he said they would, and they did an amazing job. In a little over an hour the two of them cleaned up the whole car, inside and out, and made it shine. I have never had my car detailed before, and this experience has probably spoiled me. I can't wait to take my car out for a spin now, it looks and smells so nice. After they left, I even ordered a new seat cover for my driver's seat to protect it, as Steven showed me how the light tan leather was getting discolored from my jeans sliding in and out of the seat. I believe that a deep cleaning like this will help to preserve the value as well as the appearance of my vehicle, and I am extremely satisfied.
Description of Work: Steven Trotter and his son Michael came to my home and detailed my car in my driveway. This was a special Big Deal on Angie's List, thus the special price. It took a couple of weeks before they could get to me because of the high demand for this deal, but it was worth the wait. They brought all their own equipment and supplies, and did not even need to use water from my house. They only needed an electrical outlet to plug in their steamer machine. They started by steam cleaning the outside of my car, every inch of it I believe. They also steam cleaned the interior, including the carpeted floor and seats, dashboard, doors and all windows. They even cleaned the areas around the edges of the doors and trunk, which had probably never been cleaned. They did a superb job cleaning, and wiping up moisture with microfiber cloths. They also cleaned my wheel rims extremely well. Then they applied wax on the exterior of the car and made it shine. The whole car looks brand new again, smells new and even feels new (the metal is so smooth to the touch).

Steve was prompt in getting in touch with me to explain that the service would need to wait for warmer weather (which I expected), and stayed in touch till the weather was appropriate. He scheduled the service to suit my schedule, gave me a reminder call, and showed up when he arrived, he and the other worker (his son?) got to work promptly, worked hard, and did a great job. My cars were filthy, on the inside, and now they are immaculate. They spent maybe 4 hours -- maybe a bit more. It was all just what I would hope.

Steven accommodated my unpredictable schedule, arrived promptly, and completed his tasks effectively and efficiently. My vehicle literally looked better after Steven's efforts, than when I purchased it new. My neighbor was so impressed with Steven's efforts, that she asked for his business card.

 + -1 moreSteve and his son Mike performed the work. They called on the appointment date before hand to insure they were going to do come out and do the vehicle. A 2001 Buick Century, the car really needed a good detailing. They came out and asked if I had an electrical outlet they could use to power their steam generator. It took them over 2 hours to complete the detailing. The car never looked so clean! Previously, a date was set up to perform the detailing and they indicated if the weather was too cold they would not do it. On the scheduled date the weather seemed a little iffy but they did not show or call to inform us, it was too cold. Other than that, I felt they did a real good job cleaning and detailing the car.
Description of Work: Detailed the car from top to bottom using a steam process.

In fact, my friend who lives in my complex asked me to ask the Trotters the night before their scheduled appointment if they would Detail her car after they were done with mine. They were happy to accommodate her and they spent about 3 more hours detailing her car. She was dazzled with the results. I posted inside and outside pix of the results of the Trotters' efforts in the car ad I'm running on Craigslist and I'm confident that it will sell soon. My salesman at the dealership saw my photos on Craigslist and was so impressed he asked for their contact information. Angie's List is magical.
Description of Work: Steven and Michael Trotter transformed my 1999 Chevy Prizm LSi from a worn used car into a gleaming jewel inside and out, in preparation for sale. They worked so hard for more than 2 hours on a sunny day with a bitter wind. They arrived at my home promptly, were so polite and patient with all my questions. They steam cleaned and scrubbed and dug into the crevasses and wiped and wiped and wiped. It was incredible to watch.

 + -1 moreIt went very well. They came to my workplace at the time they said and cleaned the car really good. It was extremely convenient to have this done while at work. Will definitely use them again.
Description of Work: They cleaned my 2010 GMC Acadia inside and out. They did a great job my only complaint was they charged me an extra $25 for excessive pet hair. There was pet hair in the car but it definitely wasn't excessive. They inspect your vehicle before they begin and tell you if there will be any extra charge and you may decline the service if you want. I was very happy with the job they did but I wonder if I got the extra "excessive pet hair" charge because i was using a Groupon which saved me money from their normal charge.

Steve and his son arrived as scheduled and provided professional, friendly and thorough service to our vehicles, both SUV's. I was not aware of an additional fee for large vehicles, but Steve worked with me to compromise the fee. I plan to have him out again in spring of 2012.

They couldn't come a couple of times because it was raining and it wasn't really their fault. One can't detail a car when it's raining. I would use them again in the future.

 + -1 moreI purchased this detailing as part of a special offered on Angies List. I called later the same day to arrange for the detailing as was told their transportation was in service and they would call me back to arrange. No calls. A few weeks later, I tried again and left a message. It took four days for a return call. When we did speak, their availability was very limited. On the day of our appointment, they arrived (2 gentlemen) and the actual appointmen took just a bit over an hour. I remained in the home while they worked on my car. Instead of knocking on my door to let me inspect their work, they called me from their cell phone as they were leaving the house to let me know they were done. The inside of my car looked nice, but I question how they "detailed" the outside in the last 15 minutes with no water or waxing. When I opened my trunk, it was not even vacuumed. To say I was disappointed in what should have been a professional detailing is an understatement
Description of Work: Vacuumed and cleaned the interior of my car. They used some type of product to wipe down the exterior and put on a shine, but did not actually wash the car or use real wax.

The day of the detailing I was given a call when they would be at my house as I had the work done in my driveway. They arrived on time, introduced themselves and if they had any questions they would ask..i.e. they even checked if it was "OK" to put an air freshener in my car. Their work ethics were second to no one. This father/son team did an outstanding job and I will definitely use them again. I have recommended them to friends and family as well. It was a real pleasure to see two people with such strong work ethics, professionalism, manners and neat appearance.

 + -1 more..When they arrived they plugged into my electricity and went straight ot work. I didn't watch or check on them. When they finished they asked me to inspect their work. I was so impressed that I gave them a tip.
