Description of Work: I had Empire Today (of Michigan) install over 1100 ft2 hardwood flooring. It had to be perfectly flat everywhere for easy wheelchair accessibility and that is what I got. Our sales rep Jeanette Stadler was knowledgeable, accurate and also found us a few extra discounts. Empire has a separate crew devoted to just hardwood floor installs. They were outstanding. Every board is tight to the next and every transition is level even into the handicap tile bathroom and the existing wood floor hallway. They even miter cut the moldings in the closets. It's quite a sight to see, all the wood.

Description of Work: Product and the installation were good quality. However, during the installation, someone the installer knew (family?) showed-up and began loading the large pieces of cut-off carpet that were left over, including one piece that was ~ 9' X 12'. I spoke with the installer and told him that I wanted the large pieces, since I was paying for them. They began unloading the carpet, but I had to leave before they were finished. I explained all of this to my wife, but they showed my wife some small pieces of left over carpet, which she believed was OK, and she signed the form of completion. When I arrived shortly later, I found that they had taken all the large pieces.
