Great...did everything they were asked to do.

Everything went well.

Do NOT use this company because they are unethical and a waste of your money. Their "cleaning" of the fireplace is nothing more than any homeowner could do themselves and the "inspection" consisted of telling us we had one loose wire. The real unethical part was charging us an additional $75 to "inspect" our downstairs fireplace. Rob, the technician, did nothing more than listen to the humming of the motor and tell me what I already suspected--that there was an electrical issue. He did NOT do a 26 point inspection, as it stated on the sheet. When I asked why I was being charged an additional $75 for telling me something I already knew, he said it was his boss I needed to talk to.Good luck with that, though, since we talked to several secretaries but no boss. I would never use this company again! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I called them to come sweep the chimney and also to re-attach a piece of the fieldstone face that had fallen off. I had purchased a coupon for a $95 sweeping and $100 towards masonry work. When Chris came out, I wasn't there but my husband was there. Chris cleaned the chimney but said that he didn't feel comfortable doing the masonry portion of the work, and that we should call back and arrange for Dean, their best mortar guy, to come out. He charged my husband over $100 for the cleaning. When Dean finally came out, he said that the piece did not need mortaring, but needed to be glued back on and that he didn't have the right kind of glue in his truck. He said that I should call back and schedule Chris to come back out and do it. Since Chris had already said he didn't feel comfortable doing the job, I decided to go with another contractor. I was unhappy with the time it took to get them out in the first place, and I was very frustrated that I was being referred back to someone who didn't feel comfortable with doing the work, and I was unhappy that they didn't honor the coupon price. Granted, my husband did not know about the coupon, but I had mentioned it when I scheduled the work, so they should have been aware of it.

Rob, our technician, was great. Very friendly, neat, and informative. He performed his job efficiently while answering my many questions. The fireplace looks amazing and I look forward to using it. I will recommend the company and will definitely be using them in the future.

They service level was good. They did a good job in their inspection.

Well. He did what he said he was going to do and left me with an estimate of items I might want to consider.

She called back and said they had no record of my appointment but would send someone out. I elected to find a more reliable company. I will not do business with a company that I cannot trust.

1st appointment was to confirm work fell into their $99 Angie's List special. 2nd appointment to do the work was missed due to truck malfunction. Also was supposed to be there between 9 and 1 and did not call to tell us of delay until after 2 pm. 3rd appointment work completed satisfactorily.

Very well. The man was very pleasant and punctual. Explained everything with great detail. Very good job.

This company was great to deal with. I rarely take time to write reviews (shame on me) but they really deserve praise. The technician was professional and could tell I had no idea how the fireplace worked so he explained it to me. I had an issue with my pilot light going out and he did what he could to fix it (and he did fix it) without immediately trying to sell me more services. I know that when my pilot does need to be replaced this is the company I will use. Highly recommend.

I was expecting a check and tune-up of the motor and other components with this service. I guess I should have clarified ahead of time. All that was done was a vacuuming of the interior components and cleaning of the glass screen. I did ask how the motor sounded. The service provider said OK, but I didn't seem to me that he would have known otherwise. He was a nice guy, but I was expecting more involved and detailed work like I have received from others in the past.

There were some scheduling problems which we're the provider's fault. Once they finally arrived the work performed was a good job, professional, and informative.

The cleaning went well. Steven was very quick and efficient. He showed pictures of my chimney and gave me an estimated cost of repairs.

The service was excellent, technician was courteous and professional. The service was done within the projected window of arrival. Because of the nature of the work the estimated times of arrival are rather long. The technician apologized for coming so close to the deadline but the quality of his work made up for my concerns about my being late for my next appointment. I plan to engage the company and hopefully the same technician for upgrade and repair work on the chimney.

It went well. he was prompt and thorough and tidy. Scheduling was a problem. The company did not seem to get information from Angie's list's message system. I had to call the company a few times to get the service visit set up.

Chimney was cleaned to my satisfaction, gave a very large window of time I needed to be home and he came within the last 20 minutes.

I purchased a "Big Deal" via Angie's List. $99 for a $229 value. I did not receive a call from the contractor within the stated 2 day time frame, so I called them to set up an appointment for a gas log fireplace tuneup. I was told that someone would be out between 9:00 and 1:00. The contractor actually showed up around 1:15, although he did call earlier in the day to say he would be here close to 1:00. The contractor was here for about 20 minutes and did not appear to do much cleaning. It looks like he mostly just replaced the rocks and embers. When he was done, I told him that $229 was a lot to charge for the service that he performed. He said that the charge should be around $120. I informed him that I paid $99 for an advertised $229 value. He did not have much to say. I called Angie's List to complain about the inflated value listing, but they stated that I could not file a formal complaint because I was not a "premium member". They did state that they would contact the vendor to see about correcting the "value".

He was wonderfully educated and helpful, making sure to explain what type of wood was best to burn. Was extremely thorough. Will definitely call again to have chimney cleaned after 60 fires.

I was scheduled for an appointment between 0900-1pm and they did not show up until 1:50pm. The man who came out was there for maybe 20 minutes. He took the logs off the gas fireplace, sweeped them, vacumned them, and put them back in the fireplace. He also used the shop-vac to clean up some dust around the fireplace and the rocks in the fireplace. Then he put some new sand under the logs and new rocks in the fireplace. Seems extremely expensive for the work that was performed. I was under the impression that they were going to clean out the actual chimney, damper area which I couldn't have done myself. I could have cleaned the fireplace myself for much less money.

The gentleman that provided the service was very professional.

The serviceperson was awesome, highly recommended. I plan to utilize their services again in the future for sure!

Everything was fantastic.

I had pre-paid for 2 Gas fireplace services.. The rep looked at one and said "the burner must be bad and it will cost between $200-$500 to fix". He didn't say he could fix it though.. He then said "I'll only charge you $49 since there's no reason to clean if it's broke". He then went to the second fireplace in the basement and pulled out the gas logs and vacuumed inside and that was it.. I guess I really should have been more inquisitive about what a Gas Fireplace Tune Up was? So I ended up paying $198 for a 10 minute vacuum job I could have done myself! The Rep was friendly (a bit too talkative for me ) and when he left the bill he wrote that they could install a new gas log set "starting at $1200".. I expected to get a call back from the company telling me they were going to refund part of the costs since the services I prepaid for were not performed, I felt like I had been taken advantage of and will not use this company in the future. I have used another company when I lived on the East side and they always did a great job but unfortunately they won't come out to Clarkston.
