Within 90 min of talking to our Insurance agent, Serv Pro arrived and started the necessary work.  They were friendly, positive...very helpful.  I cannot quote a price, it was all billed to our insurance.  The work was top notch.  Very punctual, professional and complete!

The interaction with SERVPRO of Novi went fine. They came in and cleaned up and it was good. We weren't expecting that kind of a price, but it was reasonable for the work they did. They did what they said they would do. Responsiveness was very good.

When I contacted Servpro, I was very satisfied with the gentleman that I was dealing with.  Instead of charging me a couple hundred dollars to come by and give me an estimate, he stopped by my house on his way home one evening to take a look at the damage and give me a verbal estimate.  When he gave me the cost of $3,500 to remove drywall in the basement, wipe down the downstairs and upstairs, and run air scrubbers on the main and lower level, I was shocked because this quote was significantly lower than other quotes I received.  My house is not very big (1200 sq.ft.), but for the main and lower level, I thought this was a very good price.

After providing them with a 50% down payment, they came out on the day scheduled to perform the work.  It took them about a day and a half to do everything and, although I am not a professional, was satisfied with the work performed...initially!  A couple of days after they were done, I had a subsequent air quality test performed using the same person who performed my initial test indicating I had a high mold count.  While in the basement, the air quality professional ran his finger against one of the floor joists and it had loose dust all over it.  This was an indication to he and I that the work performed was not very thorough.  When the results of this subsequent test came back, the spore counts were still quite high; above the tolerance of my air quality professional.  I contacted Servpro and informed them of this.  They said they would come back out, free of charge, and clean all over again.

After they completed the second round of cleaning, I told Servpro that I was not going to pay for another air quality test since it was not my fault that my house didn't pass.  They agreed to pay to have my air quality professional come back again and perform another test.  However, the results came back, although much lower than the previous test, still too high.  By now I was getting very upset because my family and I were living elsewhere and wanted to get back into our house.  I informed Servpro a second time that they didn't do a good job cleaning and that they needed to come back out a third time.  One member of their crew did come out again, re-wiped down the surfaces and, upon request from my air quality professional, left the air scrubbers in the basement for an additional week in order to clean and recycle more air.  I told them they would have to pay for another air test and they refused.  Luckily, my air quality professional performed the last test free of charge.

After a few weeks of this back and forth, cleaning and re-cleaning, the spore counts on the third and final test came back tolerable.  I was so happy to have the house clean again so my wife and kids to come back into the house.  I also noticed that they broke one of our glass frames.  When I informed them of this, they said they would take the measurements and replace the glass; which they did.

I do give them credit for trying to make things right with me, but I would have rather they just perform quality work the first time and save my family and I the headache.

My experience with SERVPRO of Novi Company was okay.  I thought that they were a bit overpriced.  I would probably not use them again.

The initial response to our call for help with damage from water pouring through our living room ceiling was fast, on schedule and courteous.  Within hours they had removed the wet insulation, treated the attic area with mold prevention chemicals, determined the amount of water in the drywall, removed the wet oriental rug and had dehumidifiers and blowers set up.  For the next three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) they called and scheduled an appointment with us to check the progress of drying drywall. They always arrived on time and were courteous and professional.  For this portion of their service we would like to give the company a grade of A++.

The drywall repair portion of the service was a little rough.  The work looks very good!  The person responsible for the work was courteous and professional when he was here but he was always being called away for jobs that were more important than us. Thus the work took way to long to complete. Also he very rarely called to schedule an appointment to work. And even when he scheduled an appointment, there was no guarantee that he would arrive.  We raised this issue with the company and they replaced the worker.  For this portion of the work we would give the company a grade of C.

The vast majority of this work was covered by our home owners insurance so our out of pocket expense was much less than the amount listed above.

I explained what I needed and set an appointment for an inspection/estimate to be completed.  They arrived on time and spent 1-1/2 hours taking measurements, etc to complete an estimate.  After that time, I was told I would receive an estimate later in the day or the next day; I was unable to receive a "ball park figure".  However, later in the day the employee called and provided an unofficial estimate which seemed rather high.  I declined to continue with Servpro as it was out of my budget.   I suspect they would do a thorough job with fire/smoke/water damage, but they were not the company for this job.  

They did a good job for us. After a flood under the house I had an odor coming from the crawl space. They came in and checked everything and said it was dry under there. They had a non-toxic chemical to use under the house to take care of the odor. They were very professional, clean and did not leave a mess. When they came in the house they used foot coverings. Everyone was top notch and they did a fantastic job. They called me back when I had questions. I did not think the price was out of range.

They were very easy to work with. I would recommend them. We had a couple of bids, and theirs was the lowest. They did what they said they would do in the amount of time they said it would take. Dealing with their office was very easy.

Servpro of Novi was fine. They cleaned up their work area nicely.

We found water in the bedroom at our finished basement after a storm. After 2 weeks investigation, we found the water came from the window. We phoned the company and they sent a person to estimate the job in the next morning. The estimation was based on the "worst scenario." After we fixed the window, they came over the next day. They found that the damage was very limited so they only opened a small area around the window and removed the carpet. I was told that they would re-estimate the price since the estimation was based on the worst case. They left a few fans and a dehumidifier in a room for 2 full days. They came back to check everyday to make sure the wall was dried appropriately. After that, we had not heard from them for a few days so I called. But I was told that they were busy on another job so they would not be able to come back until next week. I was not happy. I told them that I wanted to get it done within the week because it had been a week already. They came back the next day, put the wall back. They were supposed to come back the next day. However, they postponed the schedule for 3 times. Finally, they came back and repainted the entire wall. I showed them the coupon from the Angie's list. With the $125 coupon, the difference between the original estimation and the final "re-estimation" was around $80 only. Not sure the amount of work was worth of what I paid.

A water leak from upstairs sink overnight, overflow ran from upstairs through to downstairs. Was concerned about water retension in walls of basement cinder block , Servpro came out and investigated the structure for any problems and found none. He was very informative and reassuring. Gave helpfull advice for my to help dry out the wetness of the basement. He was very helpful even though he did not do any 'work'. There was no charge for the visit at that time but he said to call him if I had more difficulties or questions. Very professional and knowlageable, kind and understanding. Excelent responce time.

They were great. They were professional and I would use them again. I've recommended them to others.
