Kitchen Cabinet Value

BUYER BEWARE! The experience could not have been more disasterous if it were a made-for-TV movie. It began with Kitchen Cabinet Value's "Lead Installer", Kurt Dostal coming to demolition my existing kitchen. I made multiple appointments for demolition, took time off work and he was a no-call/no-show several times before he finally arrived to take out my old kitchen fixtures. I believe the cabinets were more work to remove than he had planned on, so when it came time to remove my soffits, he refused and said that I should hire someone else to complete that part of the demolition (even though I had purchased ceiling-height cabinets from his company). I continued to have problems with him not showing up and he arrived hours late and left hours early every time he came to do work at my home. During cabinet installation, the real issues occurred. The owner of Kitchen Cabinet Value, Scott Dostal, and his employees clearly do not have the professionalism, carpentry skills and know how that I expected. They damaged cabinets trying to force them into place, they broke my water valves, they screwed into my sewage line, installed cabinets in a way that 1/2 covered electrical outlets, and finally, they screwed a screw into my main electrical line, which cost me thousands of dollars to repair. They refused to accept responsibility, gave mutiple excuses that changed with the wind and I ultimately spent two years in court to recover my lost expenses. I had several new contractors come to my home to correct the damage and poor workmanship so that my kitchen and bath are operable and finally finished. I have dealt with many contractors over the years and have never dealt with anyone so unprofessional and underhanded. I wish any customer who deals with this company the very best of luck - they will surely need it.

I admit I am a high maintenance customer but Scott was very willing to go the extra mile to make me happy. Got me some affordable cabinets that worked great for my rental apartment. I needed something inexpensive and had really odd sizes so he custom made cabinets to fit. Very happy and they look amazing. Renters that view the apartment can't believe how nice they make the apartment look. They are very nice quality, durable cabinets.
