Response from Eason Painting
Hello [Member Name], Your wife [Member Name] has reviewed our company once already for the same job. I am not quite sure what the problem that you have with my company is? A quick recap for everyone. We started this job in January/February 2014 we were at [Member Name] house for 1 week as promised, We painted the complete interior of the house including the basement. Upon completion Todd and his wife [Member Name] were completely satisfied with the job, we all even got hugs and handshakes upon leaving. The temperature outside was very cold around 0degrees or lower. This was a older plaster house located in Saint Clair Shores MI . It had limited or no insulation on the 4 outside walls of the house, this made the walls so cold inside that in the corner of the 4 walls it would condensate and the paint would therefore not adhere properly. So that said we both agreed that Eason painting would come back in the spring to touch up because there was nothing that could be done with the weather being so cold and it was predicted to continue on that way for the next couple of weeks.Todd and my brother Chuck started talking a lot about hunting and became friends, [Member Name] ,his wife and brothers family then attended a Wild Game Dinner with us in March 2014. While at the Wild Game Dinner we proceeded to discussed doing the touch ups come April/ June. In the following months to come after the Wild Game Dinner, Todd became very sick and was admitted in the hospital many times, my brother Chuck called [Member Name]to see how he was doing and to make sure all was OK during these months that Todd was ill. Once Todd returned home from the hospital Chuck and his wife stopped by [Member Name]'s house to visit.Chuck had told [Member Name]once he started to fell better please call the office and we would schedule tups. Next thing I know I am getting a bad review from Becky on Angie's List stating we never came back to due touch ups and she tried multiple times to get in touch with our company with no response. Once I received the review from Angie's List I called [Member Name]immediately . We talked on the phone and I apologized for the inconvenience this may have caused and then I proceeded to ask [Member Name]why he did he not try to call us on our cell phones or main office number if he was getting so impatient with Eason Painting for I was shocked to see this review from someone who I had such close dealings and who has all my contact information including a estimate and invoice sheet with all of our emails, phone and fax numbers and in the past few months my brother Chuck had talked to [Member Name]on a weekly basis about hunting and fishing, Todd's response was well we tried a different email we found online and did not want to talk to Chuck because he lied to us and said your company would come in April and complete the touch ups. I then proceeded to apologize again and schedule a date that week to complete touch ups. I go and see Todd and complete the touch ups upon leaving, I tell him again if you need anything please call me any time. I get a handshake and a thank you. Next thing you know a couple of Months go by and this review pops up on Angies List too. Maybe I am missing something here but I don't understand why you are so unhappy. Gratefully Yours, Kevin Eason
