Eason Painting

The toughest critic, my husband, thought the service and job done was top notch. Our basement and 3rd floor (with exceptionally high ceilings) were painted. The house is so old (circa 1930) so it's not easy to paint with all of the uneven lines and such but they did a great job. They also were perfectly on time and the clean up made my heart smile.

They were absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. I had tried other painters for this room. I was too small a job for one. One even put me on his list to be done on a rainy day when he does interiors. That was Sept. still haven't heard from him. Eason painting answered and returned every call. They worked with me around my work and availability schedule. They did all of the above work in two days. They were extremely efficient. They had 3 men working on my job. They arrived each day about 8;30am. Didn't spend anytime on the phones like some painters do. They didn't even take breaks or lunch unless they were waiting for something to dry. Someone was always working on something. I was so impressed that I hired them to power wash and seal my large deck at the same time as part of the job. When they were all done, it was beautiful. I asked for another estimate to do my hallways and ceilings next. My neighbor even came over the second day. She loved mine and had Kevin Eason run over to her house for a living room estimate, She has also hired them. I fully intend to go room by room and hire only them.

They did a wonderful job. They worked with me around my schedule. I have had a couple more experiences with Eason.....very favorable opinion of them. Chuck is so fantastic! He has helped out with a problem my daughter is having...always available to help!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHUCK AND HIS COMPANY!!

Everything was done exactly on time and well.

Kevin Eason was a really good guy. They did a great job, and I really liked them. They were responsive to my questions. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

Showed promptly for estimate. Was able to complete painting job at an earlier date. 3 rooms beautifully done. Patched and painted, 2 coats. Completed in 2 days. Will use again.

I don’t remember how much I spent. They’re professional and they come on time. They come and help you pick out some colors which most of them don’t do it now. They actually had the same person paint each time. I had some other painters earlier and I never knew whom I was going to get. I recommended them to my neighbor and they’ve been painting for her too. I’m going to use them again because unfortunately I have a leak in my ceiling they just painted in the spring. Now I have water spots. I thought I would paint it after a few years but now I will have to get it done this year. I will use their services again in the future.

They were excellent and we liked them a lot. They were efficient, fast and reasonably priced. They cleaned up after themselves. We received 3 compliments from the neighbors.

I contacted Eason painting by e mail in April 2011. Kevin Eason called within the hour and set up a time to meet. He toured the house and worked out a quotation for me on the spot. I told him I would have an answer in a week. During that time I added some addtional work. Kevin returned and reworked the propoal. By early May I had selected Eason Painting to do the work and they set a mid June start date. Unfortunatley, there were weather delays. Kevin kept me up to speed on where they were at with new timing. On july 1st he called to tell me that on July 5th the man who does his powerwashing would be there to powerwash the entire outside. His man was there on time and took care of that part of the job. On July 7th Kevin and his 5 man crew were at the house on time to go over the job. They started immediately. They caulked every seam on the outside of the house including around each soffit vent. The outside was being painted Thursday afternoon. On Friday their carpenter arrived and starting working on replacing boards on the outside of the house. He finished the outside on Saturday so that the outside painting could be completed. At the same time two of the crew were working inside on the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom. Everything was moved and covered, the floors were covered, patching took place and they started painting. By the end of the day on Saturday the upstairs was complete as was the entire vaulted ceiling in the great room. Everything was put back to normal. On Monday the carpenter finished trimming out the windows and covering an electrical box, The master bedroom was completed on Monday. On Tuesday the master bathrrom was completed and two additional areas were patched and painted. The crew from Eason painting were very professional. Everything was handled in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. When they left at night everytthing was cleaned up and disposed of.. They knew their jobs and took care around my house. They were very friendly to talk to, were fun to be around and were very efficient. They went out of their way to make sure we were pleased with their work and represented themselves and Eason Painting very well. I cannot say enough about this company and its' crew of workers. I would have them back anytime to work in my house. This was a wonderful experience for my wife and myself. I highly recommend this company to everyone.

A representative from Eason came quickly after my initial contact and gave me an estimate. We waited a few weeks to make sure the roof repair was good and that there was no more leakage. Then Eason's drywall repair guy made an appointment, showed up on time, was finished early, and both jobs (garage and family room) looked great. The work was done well, on time, and for the estimated amount.

He returned my call promptly. He showed up when he said he would. He is very knowledgeable, and customer oriented.

They came out to the condo to write an estimate. I gave them a copy of the key (the condo is on the East side and I live in Royal Oak) and a deposit. Eason then lost my deposit check (had to put a stop payment on it) and then never showed to do any of the work. They also did not return my key and having another contractor finish the job, I will now have to pay a locksmith to change the locks. I got no returns on my calls asking for my key back.

Arrangements were made for Kevin to quickly come out and give an estimate for work in my kitchen, laundry room, and half bath. There were a number of things I wanted done in addition to the painting and he said that if I prepared a list of the specific items I wanted, he would pick them up. This was a huge help. Kevin also provided great guidance in the selection of a paint color. I love it! The first day Bob came out and did all the repair work. He was courteous and efficient. Painting was done the following two days. My floors were covered, areas were taped off and protected. Workers cleaned up after themselves each day and consolidated their supplies to one small area. The quality of work was great as was the overall experience. I have a few more projects on my list and I will be seeking the help of Kevin and his crew once again. I would definitely recommend Eason Painting.

This was an excellent experience, especially compared to other painting we have had done. Kevin, one of the owners, scheduled an appointment for the estimate and came when expected. The job was scheduled and ended up being delayed two days as they were running behind but I was given a three day notice of this. The painters arrived when expected for the rescheduled time and were very professional. They performed all requested duties and even did some additional touch up on two other ceilings that had had light fixtures replaced that didn't cover the same area that they replaced. They completed the job as stated and cleaned up after themselves completely. We have requested an estimate on another room as a result of this experience.

They did a really good job and cleaned up after themselves. The young man that was here for the week was alone and worked as a one man crew. He was very good. We were very happy with the outcome. They did the mold treatment to prevent any mold problems in the future. I paid a $600 deposit and $1250 when the job was done. We didn't have to do anything. He moved the furniture into the center of the room with help from my husband. Also we removed as much as we could from the rooms being done. He covered the cupboards in the kitchen, so paint didn't get on them. He was very careful. Also he used fans to get the smell out from the special paint that he used for the stain and mold treatment. He advised use to leave for a couple hours because of the strong fumes. We were very happy. There wasn't one bad thing. I think that they had a better price than the other quote we got. We chose them because of their price and availability.

It was beautiful. Everything was done on time, and done right. Bob did the work for Kevin (Kevin is very prompt about quoting jobs and quick to communicate via email and phone).

The work was done very well and the painters were always on time and worked hard. All the paint was in oil or alkyd base. There was one area where the paint peeled in the addition. Keven came with a moisture meter and it was obvious that despite 3 months after plaster application it still had moisture. He checked whole room to determine if there would be other possible problems. He came back and checked with the moisture meter to insure the plaster had sufficiently dried before repairing the spot. This he did without charge, despite the fact it was not his fault. They removed all the interior doors and spray painted them and they looked beautiful. Two of the doors were louvered. They painted the drywall on a large room in the basement and again did an excellent job. I had another company paint a paneled room in blue glaze. I mention this, because from other people I have talked to, many painters seem to fail in the areas listed below. So make sure you check them out. 1. Despite taking the doors off the hinges, they fail to paint the top and bottom of the door. If there is a warrenty on the door against warping, it will be voided if the top and bottom are not painted. 2. These guys take off door knobs all the time. You would think they would reinstall them correctly. In my case, neither one did all of them correctly. Both painters lost the locking pins on the one of the knobs. One installed the lock on the outside of the bathroom door, so I could have found myself locked inside the bathroom.

I didn't have it done because I heard that if you have it sealed then it is slippery. The charge for the epoxy floor was $1,200 and I'm going to wait until next year for that work. They were very good. I plan to use them in the future because we will probably have our house painted.

They did a great job at a great price. The painters did quality work and were friendly and accomodating.

He did all of the prep work, purchased a closet door, removed a closet shelf, installed a new closet system, put-in new door knobs, and installed a ceiling fan with a light. With the prepping of the painting, he also made repairs on the walls. Kevin did all of the estimating and was just terrific, as was his employee who did the work. The initial estimate was done last summer. Kevin was extraordinarily patient and compassionate as I wasn't able to have the job done after the initial estimate. I was very grateful for his courtesy. When the work was done, I was not present, but I had complete confidence in Kevin and in his employee that was doing the work.

I loved the responsiveness when we discovered the leak. Also, the crew couldn't start on the first day planned so Kevin called to let me know. There was a minor issue with mis-measurement of wallpaper. As it happened, I chose not to buy more paper but rather to have that area painted. The company did pick up a replacement roll of wallpaper after it turned out one was flawed. The roofer/drywall/mold abatement sub-contractor, Bob, was good. Cleanup afterward in foyer and garage areas could have been a little better (paint dust), but I was thrilled that all the wet insulation and drywall were removed from the premises. Also, the crew was great with my doggy, and actually let him in and out as they worked. I'd definitely use this company again.

The interior work was completed soon after I signed a contract. The exterior had to wait until the weather was suitable. It took a bit longer than I had anticipated, but the work was really good. The crew was all very professional, they arrived on time and finished promptly. I was especially impressed with the drywall work. The work on the deck floors could use a touch up, which hasn't been performed so far, but overall I'm really quite satisfied.

The workers were punctal and professional at all time. Would rehire again.

They did everything that they were supposed to and everything that was listed on the contract.
