Excellent experience. Dawn, the landscape designer was fantastic. She prepared an excellent design, spent a lot of time with us and was very responsive. Staff was courteous and professional. Highly recommended.

The work was started 8 weeks past the estimate provided. The project manager was one of the most unprofessional service providers we have ever worked with on a project. You had to tell him something 5 times for it to actual get into the landscape plan and then on the day the plants / trees arrived he didn't even bring the plan and was trying to make-up the plan as he went. Very unresponsive. The Company disposed of waste materials in my neighbors yard. I would never use this company again for landscape services

We had multiple conversations with the project manager. There was a lot of disconnect. We thought we agreed on something then they said it would be different then what we discussed with the project manager. Then we would call him and he would come back out again and think we were set and then people would start planting plants and it wasn't what we talked about and the cost wasn't what we talked about. The work itself wasn't terrible from the execution, but the actual management and communication of the project was awful,

Terrible, disappointing, stressful, costly experience. What was supposed to be a 3 week job turned into 4 months of ****! Our designer Jason, gave us a beautiful design. As the work began we noticed nothing on our design was looking like the job they were doing. Plants were completely different, some plants were dead and diseased, the retaining wall we discussed when explaining what we wanted wasn't even included! When we asked why our landscaping looks nothing like the drawing, the designer Jason said the drawing was just a proposal and not the actual design!?!? We ended up having to pay for a retaining wall out of our own pocket on top of the price we agreed to have the job done for! The landscaping they put in was literally washing out into our front yard, because there was no retaining wall! The actual dirt was washing out of the landscape and into our grass, we had no choice but to pay to have the retaining wall put in that we thought was included in the price and agreement we signed. When I mentioned to Jason that the plants he was planting looked like they were dieing he told me they were just stressed and looked like this normally for that time of the year. So I took samples of the plants to a nearby nursery and they told me they were infected with fungus and were dieing. We went with Lowries because their price was the most reasonable out of the 3 bids we got. Little did we know that they misrepresented their drawing and pulled a bait and switch on us. We also had to end up spending money out of our own pocket just so we could get all the plants shown in the drawing so our landscaping looked some what like the drawing. We saved for three years to have our dream landscaping done and in the end we ended up paying close to 6,000 more than what we agreed upon just to get the landscape some what finished. We will have to hire another landscape crew in the spring and probably pay another 5,000 just to have the job look complete. The owner kept refusing through our designer to compensate us or work with us on getting the job done correctly. My husband had to end up going to Lowries and meeting the owner face to face before he would work with us and try to resurrect the job gone really bad. The owner in the end fixed a few things for us and replaced some of the dead/diseased plants. But came no where near making us feel we were fairly compensated for the **** we were put through. Our landscaping looks no where near a $23,000 job. We were ripped off terribly by Lowries and as a result they lost a ton of business from our neighbors who were looking to have landscaping done as well. They saw the entire situation play out over the three months and could not believe what we went through. Lowries also promised us any grass they disturbed or tore up would be fixed with sod when the job was completed. Job did not get completed until the end of October and all they did was put down grass seed. So in the spring we will have no grass and will have to hire a company to come in and hydro seed or put sod down, this will end up costing us another couple thousand dollars. In the end we were just so beaten down and stressed we did not bother fighting them on the sod issue as well. Proceed with caution. We were told afterward to never go with the designer Jason. We had no idea, we trusted Lowries would hire capable people. When the owner was trying to do some damage control on our yard in the end, he was even telling me he did not understand why our landscaping did not match the drawing!?!? Very bad screwed up situation. There are too many landscapers out there to take a chance with this company after what happened to us.

We are very happy with the work Lowrie's did for us.  We made some changes to the retaining wall at the beginning of the project and the Lowrie's team took it all in stride - no problem, we just want to make the customer happy.  There was a dye lot issue with some of the pieces for the retaining wall, and again, it was no problem.  Tom said he would get it resolved for us and he did.  They honestly checked that each piece of the retaining wall was perfectly level.  The project took a little longer than expected but they made sure everything was done right.  The finished project is beautiful and we're very happy with the work.  I'd hire recommend Lowrie's to anyone.

Tom the owner is a great guy.  Very quick to respond and very professional.  Really knows his stuff.  The "worker guys"  really did a nice job.  So hard working and cleaned up everything when they finished.
