Please, save your time and find someone else. The owner is very condescending and rude, and if you ask any questions about the invoice, he threatened to take me to court when I asked their company questions about invoices and asked for a discount. The job was done ok, and the company tried to accommodate me here and there, but few things were a little hard to understand. (One of them is if you have a service call performed right now, they can’t schedule another one until they receive the first work order. This becomes a problem when your first service call can’t be completed the same day. In this case, you have to wait another day or two to call back to make a new service call.) The workers just left after they are done with the job so, I didn’t know the exact time they were finished with the job. (They said something about on top of service call fee they charge every five minutes or something but, it was very hard to understand because the billing person spoke very fast.) We got the invoice, and I had some questions on the total amount, hours of work charged, and hopefully get some discounts since it was too high. (We used this company for around ten years now) It seemed we were getting charged a little high so, I called, and the billing person kept saying that all of the amounts is correct, and I am not mentioning anything about price. In the middle, she asked very rudely why all of a sudden I was calling them after the work is finished. I kept mentioning that it was a little high so, I wanted to get some discount, but they refused. Suddenly, the owner picked up the phone and said that he was listening to all the conversation. When I tried to talk to him, he kept interrupting and repeatedly threatened that if I didn't want to pay the bill I don’t have to and, he is more than willing to go to the small claims and tort court and he deals with these issues often. I tried to say when did I say that I didn’t want to pay the bill, he didn’t listen and interrupted me. When he was done speaking, he said that do whatever I want and just hung up the phone on me.
Description of Work: Cap a head on one of the sprinkler and overall check up on the irrigation system for initial service call. During the check up found a leak on a valve in the irrigation box.

Save your self some trouble and avoid using Worton Irrigation. We own a older home with an older irrigation system. We had used Worton on several occasions in the past for leaks, valve replacement, etc. Recently we had several zones fail. We called Worton and after two failed attempts to make repairs I contacted the owner. I had spoken with the owner in the past about issues and always found him rude and patronizing. I suspected that work previously done by Worton may have resulted in the recent zone failures. Once again, he was rude and patronizing on the phone. At one point he asked why I wasn't present while the technician did repairs (I've got a job). He then refused to address my concerns and said he had "better things to do". He ultimately hung up on me. We found and hired a reputable irrigation company that repaired the failed zones. Turns out that Worton had probably damaged control wires for two zones will repairing a leak. The new company fixed that issue and made appropriate repairs to the other zone in a couple of hours. No need for multiple visits. I've owned homes for over 35 years and dealt with lots of contractors. Never had this trouble with any of them. Find some one else to work on your irrigation system.
