 + -1 moreMy lake side is not only beautiful, it is absolutely functional, low maintenance, and perfect!! The project started in Oct 2013 and finished the end of May 2014 (many weather delays) but my yard was always left in an organized and maintained state. The crew was polite and accommodating. I give 5 stars!!a,
Description of Work: I purchased a home on a lake and while the house was completely renovated the lake side was a disaster. I was referred to Stout Creek and contacted them. The owner, Doug Byl, came over, walked through, and gave insightful suggestions and recommendations. He then drew up a plan and broke down the costs. He gave me several options and truly listened to want I wanted. I could not be more pleased with the finished product! Doug worked with the companies providing the dock, the irrigation, the spa, the electrian, the carpenter, etc. He acted as a general contractor. it was a major project with major results! No detail was left uncovered.

Description of Work: Relandscaped an area in my lawn that continuously wash out when we would have a big rainstorm. Also put in a limestone patio.

 + -1 moreoverall it went OK; the patio work was very well executed, as were the steps and walkway areas. the wall however was not of the design nor stone-type we expected. it was explained that due to the large size of the patio, the wall had to built vertically instead of slanted back and boulder-like stones used in lieu of more thick rectangular ones. it looks OK but not what we intended. single biggest frustration was the lack of timely communication. the owner is almost impossible to contact and took an interminable amount of time to get back to you. we considered him for another project, but after two attempts to contact him through his employees we had the work done by someone more responsive.
Description of Work: we contracted for a paved patio @ 30' in diameter; 7' high x 15' long stone reinforcement wall; steps leading beside the wall down to two landings and a flagstone walkway to a lower existing patio. also a 4' flagstone walkway connecting the patio and the driveway.
