He used to build whole houses. He's a fantastic builder, his work is considered some of the highest quality work in the area, people know him. When he looked at the prices and figures, he said he could save me some money by making the door shorter by a foot since the 9 foot doors are expensive. I appreciated that he looked into something like that just to save me money, but I needed that 9 foot door because I have a boat that's way to big for my old garage and I needed a garage that could fit it. So, I ended up hiring him. My Dad said he had never seen such beautiful, straight pine boards, and such a lack of knots and stuff. He said he wanted to tear my garage down and take all the lumber home. So I called him back and asked him about the lumber, and he said he deals with only one lumber yard only for quality contractors and they know we want nothing but the best.
