USA Insulation of Detroit

The worst part of buying my house has been dealing with this company! They said they would do the job in one day and have my walls 100% full of insulation. After they said they finished the job in one day they charged my credit card without my permission(they had on file from the down payment) or me signing anything. After they were done I had to remove a section of drywall for some electrical work and found the wall had absolutely zero insulation in it! After further investigation of me drilling many holes in my walls I found only about 1/3 of each bay was full of insulation. I believe they never thought I would check their work, and they would get their money and move on to their next job. Or they assumed I was flipping the house for a profit, and they wanted their share. They did not even do half the job they said would be done and it took another month and 8 different time of them coming out to complete The job. My house still is not fully insulated as I am still doing work on my house and drilling holes to still find empty bays where insulation, I paid for, should be. I would not recommend this company to enter anyones home. I wonder how many past customers they have done this scam to.

It wasn't a "sale" based encounter. Representative was very good at giving us what WE needed. Pricing was excellent. Installers were extremely friendly, neat, efficient and skilled.

They were outstanding. We had one issue that we all overlooked in the initial job. I called them and they came right out with no extra fees.

The work is not done yet. We signed a contract for one part of the work that needs to be done, and may contract for the next part. Work is scheduled to be done in a month. That is OK.

I was very impressed with the first meeting, the instructive video, I only wish I had called them before getting our attic done. They got here at 9:30am and didn't leave until the work was done and everything cleaned up. They even went over a point by point check list with me. The very first night I noticed that our furnance didn't run as much as it had and our bedroom was much warmer. My wife has complained about our bathroom being cold, she even noticed the difference and commented on it to me...

Crew showed up on time and did an excellent job. They explained what they were doing. They even discovered that our bathroom vent fan was not properly connected and corrected the problem. Clean up was very good. I would highly recommend USA Insulation to my friends and neighbors.
