It went very well. They showed me the problem - the door had buckled - it was 25 years old and rusty. They provided and installed a new door the next day and transferred a stiffener that had been added a few years ago and agreed that it did indeed reduce the noise generated during operation. Hats off to Hani!

Service guy that came out was knowledgeable and took his time to answer many questions I had about my old unit (new home owner here). I did get the ubiquitous upsale push, but it wasn't aggressive and was quite informative. Again, very friendly, and he took the time to answer all my questions, and believe me, I ask questions. We did however have a bit of an accidental incident where I'd handed the gentleman my remote to aid in the speed of work, and it was accidently taken (accidentally pocketed climbing the ladder,forgotten to return). While this initially worried me, I'm taking the time to write this review on Angie's list to say that they went above and beyond to remedy the situations soon as I'd notified them, which went as follows: 1) They offered to send a person out to reset the DIP switch security code for my peace of mind (I'd already done that). 2) After scouring their trucks for the missing remote, they mailed me out a universal replacement remote unit. 3) The universal replacement unfortunately didn't work with this old unit, they then went out and ordered me the specific replacement for this old Stanley unit, somehow. Very responsive, very communicative (both by mail here, and phone about resolving the issue), I appreciate the way they dealt with their customer service to put me at ease as they attempted to rectify the situation. Haven't seen anyone take that much care in a long time, very refreshing. I'll definitely be using them again when I buy a replacement unit and wanted to say it was unexpected to see this level of communication during problem resolution.

Although it did take Garage Doors Pros some time to get to me, because of the response to the Angie's List special, when they did call they came over that same day. The service person was very professional, and offered to fix my rollers at a discount because of the delay in getting to me. He also pointed out a problem with an important part that was missing and offered to replace it for a discount as well. It was very apparent that the service person cared about providing excellent customer service and was willing to go above and beyond to help resolve any problems we had in the past. I do plan on using Garage Doors Pro to repair my garage door, and if all goes well will use them again in the future.

Mike was really great and flexible with timing. He replaced all the rusted garage door hardware and fixed the alignment issue I had with the door. He made sure that everything looked perfect from the inside and outside before leaving. I would definitely recommend Garage Door Pros to friends and family.

Basel the owner of the company came and inspected the garage door, balanced the springs, oiled the hinges and had a look at the chain mechanism and corrected it as it was having an issue while the door was closing. Great service . Explained all the things that could go bad in future and gave some quote as well Pros: Called me the day when I purchased the service on Angies list and asked for convenient time to schedule the appointment. Arrived promptly and started the work immediately Explained all the things about the garage and the possible things that could go wrong in future like rusting of the brackets and rollers not working etc.. My Garage door was not able to go up when I pressed the button on the wall, I tried to manually bring It up but it was too heavy, so I decided to find someone opened for business on a Saturday, Garage Door Pros were one of 2 other companies that showed they were opened at this time on my search, they were the only ones that answered my call on a weekend day, the tech was able to schedule me for same day, he came right on time, explained to me what happened, answered every question I had, fixed the door, which apparently had a broken spring. a very nice and polite gentleman, gave me a very reasonable price. it was a good experience with this company.

I had received a couple of quote almost double the amount that Garage Door Pros asked.
