Moin Jaffer did his best using professional software tools, but my hard drive was unrecoverable; fortunately, I had cloud backup and was able to restore most files. I requested an SSD drive (about $500) as a replacement to increase speed and reliability and add extra disk space. Moin made sure I had a high-quality drive and did the ground work, loading the operating system and Microsoft Office and doing the setup chores. He was always calm and cheerful and treated me as if I were one of his corporate clients. He had done the same for my husband's laptop one month before. We were both very pleased with the results!

Excellent!  Moin is personable and professional. Would certainly use him again.  But do note that his address is NOT 3181 Packard.  He now comes to your house.

On the initial visit, Moin examined my extremely slow and frustrating laptop to determine whether it could be brought back to life or should be replaced.  He said that replacing the hard drive with a solid state hard drive would dramatically increase the performance, and I would have a great computer without paying a premium price for an upgraded new one.  He also noticed that the fan was loud, and we decided to replace it as well.  On the service visit, he was able to copy everything from the old hard drive onto the new one, so all of my programs transferred seemlessly and work as they did before without having to re-purchase or re-install any of them.  While the data was transferring (taking nearly an hour) to the new hard drive, Moin both installed the fan in the laptop and tuned up my desktop. After the data transfer was complete, he installed the new hard drive, and now I have two computers that are much faster than before, in fact, they seem like new to me.  I will definitely call Moin for any computer issues I have in the future.  Thank you very much!

He's a tech support person so I can't really say how he cleaned up my files to make my computer work faster, but he did.  And he's not just professional, but a very polite and personable man to work with.

I will be calling him for any computer help I need in the future, and that will certainly be a few times a year,because our computers are constantly becoming degraded...and I'm not talking about anything sinister or fraudulent, but all computers develop infections during use that slow down and compromise processing just as our bodies develop colds and sniffles that slow us down.

Looked at the list of errors and questions  that were prepared and methodically explained and corrected them.  Mr. Jaffer, in explainig how to load pictures into the computer found battery leakage in my camera which he cleaned out and demonstrated how to remove the memory card and how to insert it into the computer.   That deed was above and beyond the call of duty.    A very pleasant and polite gentleman with whom to work.

They repaired my computer and everything went well. I will be using them again.

I’ve had good experiences. I consider them as my IT guys. He’s basically knowledgeable and responsive. He’s always on the go. He’ll work with you. It’s almost like he’s good with basics, just another computer guy or tech guy. He’s somebody who you can more or less deal with, an uncomplicated person. There are no problems nor issues with the quality of work. Their price is reasonable and I don't mind paying for the value. It's not the cheapest but it's worth you get. He showed up when he said he would. If I have a question, he would be the first guy I would call.

It was a pleasure to do business with Moin Jaffers! He is very personable and patient! He answered all our questions, made recommendations as needed, and attended to each task we asked of him patiently and completely. He happened to be available to come out the day I called and was here at the time he said he would be. We will definitely call on him again.

Moin responded very quickly to my phone call.  He had me in the office (it's by apt only) within 45 minutes after having moved some other appointments around. After it appeared that my hard drive was working very slowly and we wouldn't know what data could be recovered, he told me he'd call when anything happened.  Fast forward 9 hours and there was still no data.  He was very nice, and didn't seem overly upset that my hard drive had taken up his computer all day (he does a lot of on-site work, so it didn't seem to be a big deal).  After all that, we decided there was no hope for my hard drive.  He said he'd only charge me for 2 hours of work, and he charges $85/hr.  I was devastated (I'm a very poor grad student), especially since nothing resulted from the visit.  He was very kind and offered me a little bit of a deal.  A few days later, I sent my computer to my mother's work where she had some computer technicians work on it and they were able to recover all my data and rebuild my computer within a few hours for $140.

My Canon Pixma MX870 printer had stopped functioning and was giving me an error message after I opened the lid to change an ink cartridge.  I was unable to figure out what was wrong, so called Arbor Computer.  I chose to bring the printer to the business location where Mr. Jaffer was able to figure out the problem and get the printer going again after a couple of minutes.  It was a silly mistake on my part, but I wasn't made to feel like a fool, and he very generously didn't charge me for the visit.   My overall impression was one of calm competence, and will certainly use Arbor Computer again should the need arise.

I was very satisfied with his service. He came out and checked my computer for viruses. I wanted him to hook up a printer and he did that as well without any extra charge. His price was good as well.

It went very well. They were very prompt and professional.

Wthin the prior 6 months this happened twice before and I took it to Computer Alley, which did not resolve the problem.  Arbor Computers correctly diagnosed the problem .They were very thorough in in reviewing the history and error messages of the problem. They promptly fixed it.  I have had no recurrence over the past  several months, so things look good.

I was unable to access Windows Internet Explorer.  Todd checked all connections, talked to Comcast(my internet provider) and installed a new router.  The end result was that I had incorrectly connected one cable and the ethernet cable was damaged.  He corrected all of the problems and determined that I did not need a new router which saved me $90.  All is working very well now.  Kudos to Arbor Computer.  I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Always on time, very well informed, efficient, work is always well executed.

I took it to them after going to the apple store and finding out the computer was malfunctioning due to water damage. They called me back several days later than they said and told me I had 'water damage' and that it would be $50 for a diagnostic fee. Absolutely no help at all. Owner then rescinded charges after significant voicing of my displeasure.
