Job was originally quoted to take 3 days as we had expressed a concern that we were expecting a baby within a month. We understood that that was agressive and that it may take a little longer. Initial demo occured on time. But that's when the project slowed. We ended up spending multiple nights in a local hotel which drove the cost up an additional $300. Once the drywall and tile work was done we went almost a month without a toilet and sink. Had numerous issues with rescheduling times and no shows, it became apparent that other jobs were more important than ours. Finally got the shower going only to find that an incorrectly installed spigot caused water to kick back into the wall and it was pouring out of our kitchen cabinets in the floor below. Called them back to fix it at midnight since they finished around 11PM, and I ended up identifying the issue and fix to them. I bought a new o-ring and installed it myself the next day. Then the tub drain leaked the first time we used it and it ruined the ceiling in the bathroom below. It took 4 attempts at installing our toilet to get it right. Toilet leaked and damaged the ceiling in the bathroom on the level below. They finally got all leaks fixed and that was the last that I heard from them. I've since begun to repair the bathroom ceiling on my own since the contractor did not return my calls despite knowing that his company caused the damage. Ended up paying for the remodel with cash, we paid more than the original estimate and the owner of company never provided an invoice as requested. DO NOT USE this company... he came recommended to us from family members who had work done over 10 years prior. But apparently his work ethic and attention to detail have suffered over the years. I would have rather paid twie as much and gotten it done right and on time, rather than to drag out a 3 day project into a 2 month project.
